The lovely staff who are so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast- good selection to choose from- Bircher style overnight oats, various yoghurts, fresh local types of bread, fresh fruit salad, hams and cheese, local breakfast cakes, danish pastries, smoked salmon and cooked breakfast options choice of teas, coffees and juices Rooms all very individual, this is a historic building with each room styled to match its shape and features but with all mod cons such as Aircon and lovely bathrooms, coffee machine in room.Of course there is a huge variety of art all around the hotel including bedrooms. There are some modern rooms in the new building just across from the hotel. Lovely lounge in hotel where you can order drinks and light snacks. Didn't get chance to try the pool but it looks lovely in the garden.

Would like to be able to make a cup of tea in the bedroom but only Nespresso coffee machine

The location was excellent, almost right in the centre of town. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs made to order as well as the buffet. The room was lovely, furnished with older pieces but all modern comforts. We loved the hotel itself, with artwork everywhere and the wonderful multilevel terrace behind. Staff were very helpful with dinner reservations, recommending an excellent restaurant very close by. Parking was very easy, with staff taking the car away and bringing it back on request, and also helping with luggage. One of our favourite hotel experiences.

Few steps from Schlossberg stairs or cable car this hotel has a unique atmosphere, classical building with splendid interior and many artwork. The staff is kind and helpful at the reception, lobby or restaurant. Car parking is managed by them in garage in front of the hotel. The breakfast is elegant, high quality, guests may ask any kind of coffee, omelette etc. Very pleasant stay and nice return any time.

The location is great, you are in walking distance to old town. The pool is small but has a great view over the city and we loved relaxing at the roof top garden. The beds are very comfortable and the view from our apartment was great. Breakfast was great too. My kids loved the hotel.

The Garage had technical issues and every day we had to wait 20-30min to get our car from the garage. That caused a delay with our other activities planned for the day. Nonetheless they charged us 20 EUR per day for the garage. Next time I will park outside. I rather pay for the parking tickets but get my car when I need it.

Great breakfast, spacious rooms, nice staff, quaint little rooftop terrace with small pool and great views. Very centrally located.

Welll... cushions were a bit lumpy and there was a rather strong smell of perfume in one of our rooms, probably because there had been a smoker in it before and the curtains were therefore drenched in perfume to cover it? Anyway, such things happen. Rooms looking out towards the street have good views, but can be a bit noisy if you are not a friend of air condition but prefer to sleep with windows open.

The staff are amazing nothing is too much for them. The rooms are lovely and original with comfy beds and large original art works. Everything is spotlessly clean.Lovely cosy lounge.Asked for a quiet room and the internal courtyard view was perfect.

Would like a kettle in the room so you can make a cup of tea, only provides a nespresso for coffee which I don't like.

Our room was generous with a bedroom and sitting area. Bed was very comfortable with lovely fresh linen. The staff, who were mostly quite young, were very helpful and enthusiastic about their job; nothing was too much bother. The location of the hotel makes it convenient to everything, especially the Schlossberg.

The layout can seem labyrinth, but don’t let that put you off.

Noisy environment and due the big windows the room was also noisy already in early mornings; also due to the big windows and despite the big curtains there was light in the room in the mornings - it was difficult to sleep.

Wonderful location. Wonderful apartment layout. Loved the washing machine and dryer. Did not need the car - wonderful public transportation, but most of the city was walkable because of the fantastic hotel location.

Nothing. We did have to pay 22 euros per day to park our car.

Great hotel with friendly and professional reception and room service staff. We were both ill with heavy colds whilst we were there and asked for a kettle so we could make up some lemon cough drinks - they brought us not only the kettle but tea each day we were there.
