Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn

This property was exceptional, the restaurant was amazing and catered really well for me as a vegetarian, the breakfast was superb. The Dinner menu was very good. we chose to do the coffee tour in the morning and it was fantastic, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the subject and we are laughing with our family that we are now experts. I would definitely recommend. The pool was beautiful and we managed an afternoon of relaxing before we head off on our tour. I would absolutely recommend a couple of nights after a long flight to set you up for a trip.

I cannot think of anything that we didn’t like.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, the view amazing. The gardens were lovely and the restaurant was pretty spectacular. I can’t say enough about the friendly and accommodating staff, all of the staff! We went on a coffee tour which I would highly recommend, it has changed our coffee habits. It is a little more pricey than we normally go for but once I saw this place it rather intrigued me and I splurged. I was not at all disappointed so if you are worried about the cost it is well worth it!

A totally stunning place to stay - very special indeed. we were only there for a short period, we arrived at lunchtime just before the coffee tour and the restaurant managed to feed us in record time, which was really impressive (and great food too!). I would fully recommend the coffee tour, a really interesting couple of hours and we all learnt a lot. we spent the afternoon enjoying the pool and hot tub, and had another lovely meal. Rooms were incredible! The manager was very helpful and accommodating, and they provided us with breakfast boxes without us needing to ask, as we had an early start the next day.

hard to fault although we weren’t there very long. Pool wasn’t very clean, but hot tub was fantastic and the views were super.

A very comfortable hotel with great design features. It was great to see their commitment to sustainable living. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The concierge was very helpful planning our transfers and day trips. The bar and restaurant service were very high standard- food was delicious. Highly recommend the coffee tour!

The third bed in our room was not a proper bed, but a wooden bench with a seating cushion- not ideal and not comfortable! The room had been advertised as sleeping up to 4 persons- suggest the hotel revise their bed supply for the additional 2 beds.

Lovely gardens, quirky rooms, really welcoming staff and good food. Suited well for a family of 5 - a couple of the villas were interconnected. The pool area was really nicely maintained.

nothing really. a great place to stay for a couple of nights. apart from the coffee tour on the grounds, there isn’t really anything to walk out to so you’re kind of obliged to eat 3 meals a day in the on-site restaurant - no bad thing because it’s lovely, but the cost can add up.

Excellent location, beautiful views. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent food, which was well priced. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious with its own rustic feel, but in a good way. Close to the airport and well suited for a short, two or three day stay.

The accommodation rates are over fairly over priced for the actual standard of the accommodation which, although has its own charm, is a bit outdated.

I’d give 11/10 if I could. This place is simply spectacular. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like. First the location is very convenient because it’s just 20min driving from the airport but at the same time the hotel is so quiet and peaceful. It’s really like a little oasis and so close to Poas Volcano and some very scenic waterfalls and rain forests. Our room was great. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and simply fantastic. Private jacuzzi made my day. Swimming pool area and garden are beautiful and the jacuzzi on the top with a spectacular view over the valley is amazing. Breakfast was spectacular and the restaurant also serves top food at night with a gorgeous view. The staff was extremely helpful. They really made our stay so easy. Even managed to organise a covid test the night before our flight so we didn’t have to go to the airport very early in the morning. Would 100% come back!

I only regret not staying more time!!!!

love the scenery - beautiful land full of an abundance of plants . the design is truly unique . very artistic . nice bathtub . we enjoyed our stay

parking is off premises which can be a bit uncomfortable esp. if you come with a lot of luggage and children and wish for quick access to the car.

Excellent location close to airport (30 mins drive). Lovely accommodation for family group of 5, everyone comfortable and had space. Restaurant dinner and breakfast really tasteful with excellent friendly service.

Wish we had been clearer about coffee plantation tour, we needed to do morning not lunchtime tour.

amazing property truly focused on regeneration of nature and how living with nature should be. it’s a piece of art from the rooms to the coffee plantations. most important the staff were amazing, Ulysses our guide was fantastic and very knowledgable. I highly recommend the coffee tour with him. we also got stuck in the mud on taking a wrong way heading back to the property and they came in to help us, fortunately some locals also help us get tucked out. everyone from reception to the restaurants and guides were simply fantastic.
