It's located at Central Business District, everything closeby. Serves great breakfast, tasty and variety. Nice, clean rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of eateries and shopping complexes within walking distance.

Rooms are a bit small and double bed is only 4 feet wide. No wardrobe or space to keep luggage in the room. No room service.

The hotel is very central and near a lot of attractions. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast spread was good.

The hotel was at full occupancy, and for the first 2 mornings, breakfast was chaotic with no available seats and crockery and cutlery running out. The queues for breakfast were also long. The hotel did, however, correct this by giving out breakfast time slots, and everything went smoothly. This is something that the hotel can implement from the get-go and not wait for chaos to ensue first.

The outside off the hotel isnt safe....lots off homeless people all around....but the hotel staff do try to accompany you out though,bed was small

The hotel is centrally located in the Cape Town CBD. The room was at the inner quiet end of the top floor - not necessarily a view from there, but it was a great place to sleep in. The breakfast was great and satisfied every possible need and demand. The upper floor gym was a nice bonus and allowed me to work on some of the holiday effects that started to show. The security and assistants at the downstairs reception area were superb and a nice friendly face that greeted us when we left for the day and welcomed us back. The reception was also very helpful when we had some strange requests - always helping with a big smile.

Although the CBD is generally quite safe (because there is a lot of visible policing), there are A LOT of beggars and homeless people harassing you the moment you step out of the hotel. And it never stops. It is not necessarily an issue because of the hotel, but something that will become very old and irritating very fast, especially when they become verbally abusive when you decline. We walked one day from DeWaal Street down to Strand Street and were harassed by at least eight beggars by the short time we got to Strand Street. I urge the hotel to approach the CTCC to do something about this issue. It is not becoming of this area, especially considering it is at the parliamentary precinct.

Cape town City to finally be in the mother City and was welcomed by the staff and we requested a special birthday set up in the room and we found the room ready and the set up waiting for us ,it was so romantic and special, the cake,rose petals and the writing happy birthday on the bed , also champaign and chocolate it was so sweet, the shower is always hot, the room is very clean, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast was divine ,the bed was very comfortable, when we checked out we requested they keep our bags for us to collect later and they did that was very helpful as we were living in the evening, it was an amazing stay ,we had a great time

Staff was excellent! Especially at the check-in desk. Even they were busy all the time, they were friendly and help everybody. Also the rooms are so clean as they can be and they did good work. Breakfast was also on good level and lot of everything.

There are not any food service at hotel at evenings. And nobody wants to walk on the streets at dark anymore. Check-in desk made a great extra work when they helped us customers to order and get food from restaurants to the lobby. This actions happened all the time and I was just thinking that I would start to sell some food myself to my own customers!

Please provide shuttle services like others, I was made to pay R400 after they arranged a BMW which is Uber Black, when I requested myself I would have payed R280...I honestly feel cheated because I booked with a thought of you having a shuttle service. Again I was not made aware that Wimpy which is next to them closes at 5 which made me stranded after attending the Netball opening games, I slept hungry.

To be told upfront to make my own airport transportation arrangements on time.

Location was good, although downtown Cape Town is a little sketchy at times, which was even suggested to us by the staff, who advised us not to go to the Bo-Kaap area, for instance. Close to all sites and only 30 minutes walk to the Waterfront. Parking was excellent and cheap! Staff was attentive and courteous. Amenities provided in the rom were fine and public areas were clean and spacious. Breakfast provided was good.

Rooms are small and not the cleanest. It was primarily the carpets that could benefit from some attention.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely its central location. The inclusion of an above average breakfast in the room rate was also a pleasant surprise. Onsite parking is also avialble for those with cars. To round out the experience, the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

Admittedly, the facilities at the hotel are showing their age. Whilst this does not detract from the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room, those looking for a more polished "luxury" experience may be disappointed.
