Breakfast was good, great location nearby the River Walk and nice staff.

There are not free parking, almost 33 USD per day is a lot. Hotel has so many parking lots behind their gate, charging for parking generates additional money for them.

Staff was decently friendly. Room was pleasant and clean. AC was nice and cool! Much appreciated!! Was very close to the riverwalk sites and activities, but still easy to hop back on to the interstate to get to Lackland for the graduation ceremonies, which is what we were in town for.

I didn’t like the surprise $32/night parking. With no other options to park. The front desk lady was kinda snippy when she said “well it was listed when you booked”. I went back to check, and it’s worded as “$30/night plus tax private parking available” which I thought was optional fancy valet parking, not park in the front of the hotel lot in open parking next to the street. So that was unpleasant surprise after a 13 hour drive to get there. Should have just included it upfront in the room rate above, as that would likely have changed my mind about where I was going to stay. I also didn’t like paying the $32/night for “private parking” to be approached by homeless people in early morning as I’m trying to get into my vehicle.

The property was updated from what I could tell. They actually had USB ports in the room and not just one they had both sides of the bed at the lights had them on each side of the TV entertainment center dresser thing had them on each side which is awesome. A nice touch was a real nightlight in the bathroom for those of us who are older and have to go in the middle of the night. It’s great to not have to turn on a bright light and wake yourself up, and I have to give a special shout out to Rosanna, who not only was just pleasant, but gave me information on activities and things to do and see and some history on some of those things.

Apparently, and I didn’t really pay attention when I was brought by Uber but I guess there’s a roadway nearby where people can drive pretty fast and river up their cars and I could hear it in the middle of the night which wasn’t so great

Very clean hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were large, beds comfortable, bathroom reasonable. Location was as stated, about 800 meters from the River Walk, which is fine despite the 107 degree summer weather!

I would skip the hot breakfast, eggs were powdered eggs, sausage was, urg... long line for the two waffle machines, and some cereal. (Coffee on the other hand was GOOD!) Go to the river walk for breakfast! If you want the pool, it is maybe 4 meters by 5 meters... tiny. If you want to park your car within the gates, cost is 30 dollars per night. The only thing I hope they could improve is the noise the AC makes in the room, as well as insulate the windows a bit better. We had a room facing the freeway... noisy. Otherwise, perfectly good hotel.

We really enjoyed out stay at the Hampton Inn the staff was so inviting. It was exact type of get away my wife and I needed. From live music to so many close restaurants. Very Nice. Also close to the Mall and riverwalk access is blocks away, great excuse to take a walk. We parked our car at the hotel on Friday and did not need to drive anywhere till leaving on Sunday. The secure gated parking a plus. Very secure. The pool was very clean and was a great refresher after walking all day seeing the sights. Plenty of space around the pool to lounge around.

The hotel was very comfortable as listed as expected. The bedding was high quality and everything was clean. During the day and until about 10-11pm there was fresh water, coffee and hot water available in the lobby to help yourself to coffee, tea or hot chocolate which was nice when retiring for the evening. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, convenient to start the day and good variety which was one of the reason we chose this hotel. The riverwalk was about 2 blocks away, less then a 10 minutes straight walk and a right so you won't get lost. We just didn't expect to pay for parking at the hotel which for us was one night and expensive in my opinion so I am not sure if it is a one time charge or per night you might want to inquire and check other hotels, however, the front desk did accommodate with a reduced fee which was appreciated and because we were only stopping in for a 1 day visit and between getting in late and leaving by 11am we requested to be able to leave the car so we can walk around and explore the Riverwalk for the day. They did accommodate but said only until 2pm. It would have been nice to be able to not have the pressure to get to the car by 2pm but at least we were able to do a little more with a short stay. The washer and dryer was a plus to be able to wash some clothes. No issues with the staff they were very helpful at all times and friendly. We didn't have time to use the pool but it did look nice.

The cost to park at the hotel and at the very least not be limited to be able to keep the vehicle parked there the day. Would be nice to have a hot tub to relax after walking around.

The hotel was in a convenient location for us to walk everywhere. Easy parking safe though I had to pay extra for it. The breakfast was great and the kitchen staff seemed doing an awesome job replenishing the items for the guests. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, too.

We had to request new shampoo because it was empty and we requested hair dryers but never got it. We had to call in a maintenance tech due to a clogged bathroom sink which they came and resolved very promptly.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! Extremely accommodating never felt rushed to check out and free delicious breakfast!

I had requested a top floor which was accommodated however it was supposed to be a king size bed and it ended up being 2 queen beds.. just wish I would have been told this change prior to getting to my room, but I didn’t want to fuss over it so I just left it alone.

Breakfast tasted great, and the variety was fantastic. The room was clean nice and clean. The staff was very kind and polite.

I did not sleep well. The mattress was way too firm, and the guests next door had a few very loud conversations late at night. I did not like having to pay for parking in the hotel parking lot. I know that is common in SA, but it should not be. At least one should get a reserved parking lot inside the gate for that money, but there were too many cars and not enough places. (The Manger Hotel has Valet parking for 10$ less!) The Breakfast room was a bit small and we felt hurried, because so many other guests wanted to sit down for breakfast, but there were no free tables. I would have enjoyed breakfast more if I did not have to eat so fast :(

I loved the pool the exercise room was nice I was contacted right away about a credit card problem but it was quickly resolved and no hold or deposit charged on my card. I will stay here again

More lighting. I parking fee is ridiculous. 30. Too much. . I parked 20 mins. Away at bexar county parking for 5 dollars. If travelers are smart they do the same. Times are hard. If it was 10 dols. I wouldn't minded but 30 is ridiculous.
