The presentation and size of the building was oustounding. It was less of a hotel and more of a compound. There were many beautiful facilities throughout. The room was very comfortable and the view was beautiful. The food was top notch and it was obvious the quality was very high.

The only negative at all was when I called the hotel for assistance, the person that answered only spoke Japanese and was unable to assist me and they hung up after a few moments. However, once in person at the hotel many staff spoke at least some English and all were very helpful. It was a little difficult to travel from Tokyo out to the hotel, but it is possible using public transit.

Loved the presentation of the whole hotel -- modern, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and impeccably dressed. The rooftop onsen was lovely and afforded a view of Mt. Fuji. We were even provided with yukatas to wear around the hotel, which were delightful. The room we stayed in was a western-style room without a view of Mt. Fuji (we were hoping to get a more traditionally-styled room with a view, but they were sold-out) and it was fantastic. Again, very spacious, modern and clean with easy to understand instructions for how to operate things and navigate the hotel. The dinner provided has several courses and was delicious. We were very full by the end of it. The bus shuttle service from the hotel was also convenient.

It would have been helpful if they had indicated that it was a paid service and had listed times that certain shuttle buses would depart (if travelling to a train station afterwards) as this affected our trip plans. We were also keen to participate in one of the guided tours around Mt. Fuji and would appreciate a reminder from the hotel about booking the tour a week in advance. We did not know this or receive any reminders or prompts about the tour bookings and missed out on something we were very much looking forward to, especially since we had to book the hotel months in advance to even get a room.

Everything in this hotel is top notch. Amazing displays of flowers & and interior. I love the garden and the tea house where you could enjoy a complimentary matcha and some sweets. Dinner was great. We dined in a private room and enjoyed it a lot. The Taiko performance and bingo game was a lot of fun too. We closed our day with one or two glasses of wine in the lounge and enjoyed a quality time there. Please make sure to visit the outdoor onsen at the top floor-- in a good weather, Mt. Fuji will impress you with a breathtaking view.

Sometimes the bathroom can look a bit old & outdated.

The view is really good and the room is perfect. The hotel provides shuttle from mt fuji station to the hotel. The 9-course dinner was okay. There’s free flow ice cream, wine, beer, coffee etc in the lounge. Feel like i have forgotten all the stress in the hotel.

There is no flexibility. The shuttle back to the station only departs at certain timing, we had to wait until 12pm although there were only the two of us using the shuttle eventually. The timing for the public onsen timing at 10th floor is fixed. I checked in at 4.30pm and there is no more sunlight by the time I reached. Wasted.

Absolutely worth the rate. At least one night stay is a must and reinvigorating. Book a room with a private open air bath you won’t regret spending the extra money. Every bit of service provided and you get additional access to wine bar and lounge no additional charge for any beverages/snacks in those areas.

The slippers were too small for my fiancé. He is a size 11 US men’s. Very minor!

This was our favorite place we stayed at in all of Japan so far. We got a room with a private onsen. It was the biggest room ever and everything was so comfy. From check in-check out was always the friendliest/ seamless experience with the staff. It also included a dinner which we loved. The there is water to drink from the springs and if you are able To catch mt. Fuji it is SO CLOSE TO THE HOTEL! Breakfast was also stellar! They had a fun drum show with bingo afterwards and a great piano show at the bar with a view of the garden. Cannot wait to come back here.

The public baths get very crowded and I also believe they do not allow tattoos. Some things are a bit outdated, such as the onsen on the balcony but it was still so amazing.

The staff was super friendly, helped us with our luggage to our room, showed us the way to the dining hall, and welcomed and served us so well during our stay. Our room was sooo amazing! We ordered the one with a private onsen, and we did not regret it! The view and the onsen were super worth it. You could see Mount Fuji straight from the sofa corner window, and I recommend waking up for sunrise to see the spectacular morning sun on the mountain! They have everything you need in the hotel, and the complementary drinks are so good too! Not like the usual. After dinner time there is a drum show from really muscular men, then a bingo show (with prizes), and after you could get to the lounge area and hear some live piano music. One of the lounge areas also provides free machine drinks, like beer! There is an open public bath downstairs (so big), massage (didn't try), and kimono rentals. At the rooftop, there is another public bath, but it may vary when and which gender it is available for. But it's REALLY recommended to try/see this, so special front view of the mountain. The garden outside is nice too, you could try the footbath area if you want. Breakfast was great, with many dishes to choose from and super service. The staff are so cute and friendly. One of them started a conversation and even gave us some recommendations, we appreciate that! Not the best with English but we all try to understand each other. They provided free bus rides to the nearest train station and other places for their customers on their way home.

It was inconvenient to get there by public transport, said it would take around almost 2 hours from a nearby train station. So we ended up with a taxi that took only 40 mins instead. Wouldn't mind if they could have provided transportation on a timetable schedule for customers to take to their hotel. They were renovating but gave us a heads-up on booking.com before booking. If you visit nearby stuff you may need to order a taxi to and from there. Nothing bad to say otherwise about the hotel.

March 2024

We had a brilliant stay here - the hospitality was incredible, the room was huge, there was a massage chair in the room, and a private onsen on our balcony. Initially it was too cloudy and rainy to see much but, on our last morning, the weather cleared up and the view of Mt Fuji was spectacular. The hotel has great vibes, lots of photo spots (Japanese gardens, the decor inside, free yukata loan), a tea ceremony, a big gift shop, a wine bar with some free snacks and drinks, a drum show, a piano bar...it's really something else. Definitely somewhere to spend a bit of time and not just to use as a base.

It's a 12 minute walk from the bus stop (when coming via Mt Fuji train station) which was horrid in the rain. You can call for the hotel shuttle bus to collect you but only once you arrive at the station, and it cannot be pre-booked (we couldn't call as had no international service). The biggest negative for us was that we had requested a vegetarian dinner, rather than the standard option which uses fish/meat, and neither of us enjoyed it (so much so that we cancelled the meal for our second night).

Everything at the property is just awesome from the moment you arrive with the amazing greeting from the staff, the food, service, beautiful garden, onset baths, and the experience of wearing the traditional kimono/yukatas. The entertainment was truly amazing with the Taiko drummers and the bingo game afterwards. The attention to detail was outstanding. Honestly the three nights I stayed at this property was the best of any trip I have taken anywhere. I am already discussing a return trip next year with my family.

There is absolutely nothing negative about the property.

This place exceeded my expectations! The hotel offers a shuttle pickup service from most major stations nearby, for me it was Kawaguchiko station. The driver was nice, and once we've arrived at the hotel, staff welcome you at the entrance and take your luggage. Then after check-in process they give you a very comprehensive tour of the facilities and your room. It's definitely a place were hospitality comes first and foremost. Other than that, I would say anyone wouldn't be disappointed by the services and amenities offered.

There were very little to dislike about my stay, though the food wasn't to my liking as the course dinners are primarily seafood. Though I should've mentioned it beforehand, as they could've adjusted the course for me. Luckily my partner enjoyed it on my behalf. I would say to book multiple nights to maximize your experience and usage of all the facilities. I was just a shame I was only here for a single night. I'd come back again to experience a few days stay!
