Brilliant location, warm welcome just like home away from home. Great view of Mt Fuji, walking distance to everything including the car rental companies and those places to rent bicycle to ride around the area. The owner is personable, down on earth. He makes EXCEPTIONAL COFFEE. We love their breakfast though it's simple but yummy. I would stay again!

Nothing, you need to know this isn't a five star hotel but it's well-priced, well-placed, well positioned hotel. You shall get a comfortable stay here

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel because the hotel is so close to Kawaguchiko station, opposite the station on the right side. The main door and the signboard of the hotel is quite hard to recognize the hotel. There is a small onsen bathroom in the hotel with nice view of Mt. Fuji that I really like. The hotel is very kind to allow us to check in late and lend me some Japanese two-pin plug. Besides, the hotel is not so far from Kawaguchiko lake (10 minutes). The room is clean. Would recommend to stay.

- The location is unrivalled. It is 30 seconds from the Kawaguchiko station, 2 minutes to 7/11 convenience store and within walking distance to attractions such as Ide Sake Brewery (good for a tour on rainy days), Fuji Q Highland roller coaster park and some shrines and parks. It is also a short bus or train from other major attractions which are free with the Hakone Free Pass. - The staff were super friendly. They spoke English and were very helpful with tips. - The facilities very clean. - There is an onsen on the top floor which is super unique and provides undisturbed views of Mount Fuji on a clear day. - There is a chill out zone on the basement floor with some games, table tennis and computers. This was great to relax and play jenga after a long day.

Stone throw away from the Kawaguchiko Station.. Comfy tatami room with futton mattress and they have a hot bath on the top floor with Fuji-San view...

Toilet on each floor but bathroom only available on the top floor.. So every time when you want to shower you need to climb up the steep stairs.

Sento perfect after a long day of hiking. Right across from Kawaguchiko station. Walking distance to restaurants and several convenience stores. Bike rental available next door. Good value for money, especially since the area is so pricey. Clean and well kept. No need to plan ahead - you can show up and figure everything out, since amenities are so convenient.

For a hostel everything was right on the money - any dislikes I have would be the same at any other hostel. The futon is thinner than at a nicer ryokan, the lighting is a bit glaring, the service a bit impersonal. In its category I have no complaints.

The inn is just in front of the Kawaguchiko Station. I love the japanese room and the public bathroom with onsen. The receptionist (senior adult male) was very good in English. After check out, the good Sir accommodated our request to safekeep our luggage until late afternoon. We also left some gadgets inside the room which the staff sorted and released to us upon claiming of our luggage.

Some rooms are with view of Fuji-San but we were unlucky to have a room without the view. But overall it was totally fine.

Located directly across the Kawaguchiko Station. My room window directly faces Mt Fuji! There are several restaurants and convenience stores located around it. It is around 15 mins walk from the Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. The room is clean and the tatami beds are comfortable. The toilets and shower room are clean. There is even an onsen on the 4th floor. It is manned by an elderly couple who are helpful, friendly and can speak English. I will definitely return again.

- Very close to the station and the shops - Very quiet at night, except for some trains passing by - which made it even better for us - On-site onsen is amazing - Very comfortable futons - Traditional feel of the room - Pretty clean - some wallpaper may need a little bit of touch-up, but other than that we felt comfortable with everything - Seeing Fuji-san out of the window was pretty great!

- The washing machine was unfortunately broken on the day of our visit - but that most likely will be fixed soon

For a budget hostel this really exceeded our expectations! It is located right across the road from Kawaguchiko Station. The staff are friendly, the rooms are quite spacious and the shared spaces were clean and tidy. The shared baths also have an amazing view of Mt Fuji, and the staff let us know we could enter with tattoos. We would definitely stay here again.

The floor beds were not the comfiest, but were much better than we expected!

Location, location, location. Room and public bath facing Mt Fuji. You can stare on it for hours. Also the quiet cafe space that we can use to wait for train / check-in time. Most importantly Keiko-san is very helpful and friendly.

The property lacks passenger elevator, so elder people with climbing issues are not suitable.
