Good location; short walk from Kawaguchiko station and easy to find.

Wifi is very slow. It's the kindness of the hotel to provide baggage storage after checking out but it is limited at 3.00 PM. And you have to be out of the hotel completely after you took your belonging back at 3.00 PM; no service even sitting at the lobby anymore. It's bussiness, I see.

I just spent one night. It was very convenient for me because the location, in front of train station and buses terminal. If you’re lucky and have a room with views to Mt Fuji, you’ll enjoy an amazing panorama at the morning. The staff was friendly.

The hotel is a little bit out dated, rooms could be a little bit cleaner and I would have need a more powerful heater for the winter night… but for one night it was ok.

So convenient to the train station, and if your room is facing the station then you have view of mt Fuji. It’s a small family run hotel which means they will lock up at 11.30 so keep that in mind.

Could do with some upgrading decor but it’s no big deal because room was functional and clean and has everything we needed and this reflects the price.

The location of the hotel is excellent, directly opposite the railway and bus station and has a view of MtFuji. You can leave your suitcases at reception if you arrive before check-in time. The hotel owner is welcoming and speaks a little English. We booked a traditional Japanese room for four adults. The hotel lobby, room and bathroom was very clean. We had a view of Mt Fuji from the window in our room. You put your own futon mattresses and bed linen out yourself and put them away in the morning. The bathroom was a tiny cabin bathroom but plenty of hot water and clean towels, toothbrushes etc. and everything worked. There was a fridge, kettle and tv in the room and a low table and cushions to sit on the floor. The tatami mats were very clean and new and the futon mattresses were surprisingly comfortable, we all slept well. The hotel was quiet at night, other guests got up early to catch sunrise over the mountain and we did hear them because the walls are quite thin with it being a traditional ryokan room.

Nothing. It is a traditional Japanese room in an older style traditional Japanese hotel and priced accordingly. It’s very good value in a convenient location and has a view of the mountain.

Very accommodating. Almost all facilities assisted my stay in the hotel. I sleep very tight in the night. The outside is cold but the heater in the room keeps us warm. Our room number is 202. Tatami style room, sleeping like Japanese. The best part, our room is in front of Fujisan. We woke up at 5.00am, looked outside and saw mount fuji stood beautifully in front of us. It is really amazing! No complaints on this hotel, parking free. Location near to everything include 7e and Lawson. Additional, the hotel was in front of Kawaguchiko station for train n buses. Overall I am satisfied and recommend it to others. I wish to come here again.

I am ok with everything. I hope the nearest soon, hotel will have a budget to provide an iron in the room.

Hotel's location is superb, just right opposite the Kawaguchiko station. We were able to see Mount Fuji from our room's window! The building itself is old but well maintained and clean, no odd smell in the room. The hotel receptionist, two old men, probably the hotel owner are friendly. We booked the traditional Japanese room with futon beds, we were worried that we might not be used to it, but surprisingly we slept well throughout two nights there. The room comes with a private bathroom and toilet, which is convenient to families with senior citizens and young children.

Location is great just across the train station. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and convenient store. The staff are really nice and helpful on directions and even when my stomach was unwell he even help me to get Medicine. Room are clean, comfy and spacious. The view of Mount fuji is really good but too bad it was cloudy during my stay. Will stay here again if I'm ever coming back to this area.

Sound proofing are the best. I can hear next door laughing and alarm.

Friendly uncles and auntie,thank you and appreciate the post card they given to us after check out, they clean the room every day,infront of kawaguchiko station,drinkable water, our room view was mount fuji, can leave the baggage prior to check in, value for money, love the smell of shampoo and conditioner, its like a vintage house and we love it

Not soundproof you can hear other people talking from their room, you cant leave the baggage for hours after check out

Location was across from the Kawaguchiko Bus Station and central to Fujikawaguchiko. Amenities were as described. Staff was very friendly. Check in and check out process was easy. There is a small elevator and parking on site.

It's a no frills place - a good place to sleep for the night, but don't expect bells and whistles. Some of the facilities were patched up and there were some cobwebs, but I didn't mind it much and I think it added to the charm of the place. It worked well for me because I just needed a place to sleep for the night before heading to Mt Fuji for a hike the next day.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. Very conveniently located, right across Kawaguchiko station. The reception staff do not speak much english but they are very helpful, we managed very well with google translate. The rooms are a bit small but they are clean and well-lit, the beds are comfortable, heating was good. Just basic amenities were available in the toilet. I had requested a room with a view of Mount Fuji and this was such a beautiful experience to open the curtain and see Mount fuji in the morning. It saves a lot of time to be right across the station. Many eateries and convenience stores are available in the vicinity. This place is value for money.
