I like hot spring bath, super relax! Great view; the hotel is facing the Mount Fuji.

Will be good if the hotel's description can mention how to get there for those who take public transport. Actually the blue line sightseeing bus can take you to this hotel; stop at Belle Shopping mall will do. We found out on our last day in Kawaguchi; something that even the hotel staff didn't know..

Location is excellent, right next to Gyu Kaku (grilled beef restaurant we go to for apres ski), super easy to access from West Tokyo where we live, and super easy to go to Fujiten Ski resort (about a 20 min drive). There's a corner shop (Lawson) right next to it, and there are many vending machines inside the hotel. The rooms are always very clean and well kept. Really recommend this budget hotel!

There's breakfast from 7 am(1,100 yen per person) but it's not great. We use it because it's the most convenient thing to do before we take off to go skiing, but we wish it actually served breakfast as in several varieties of bread, cheese, fruits, cereal, etc etc but it actually serves Japanese lunch food, and the only real breakfast option is white bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk.

A comfortable and very spacious room with a coffee table and comfortable chair, a desk and chair, a kettle and a fridge. A good choice for a few days rest and as a base for sightseeing.

The only complaint I would make about the room is that there was a step up into the bathroom which may make it unsuitable for older people or anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast isn't suited for vegetarians or vegans. However there is a convenience store nearby and a microwave in the hotel for guest use.

The place is quite far from the 河口湖station… around 20 min walk and last bus you can get is around 5pm. Taxi are extremely hard to get at nighttime as well. Definitely don’t bring your luggage with you if you are not driving. However, the view from the rooms is great! definitely worth going if you have a car when visiting

Onsen is great to relax you after a day’s tour in the area, great value if you want Onsen and Mt Fuji. I woke up around 6 am opened the curtain and there is the sunrise view of Mt Fuji, the view keep changing with the weather. Loved it! I arrived the main station at around 2 pm, bought 2 day bus pass for 1700 yen, locked the hand carry in the locker and started the tour on red line bus, the weather was great! I took the boat trip (red line bus stop 9 and last trip is 4 pm). I took great pictures . I went to the cable car after, the line was acceptable, buy ticket half way up whilst keep queuing. The timing was perfect as I can get both day view and the sunset view. The swing queue was too long so I skipped it. After sunset the place gets much cooler I went back to the main station had dinner at the tempura restaurant, grab a few essentials from Lawson then take the taxi in front of the main station to the hotel , 5 minutes cost 900 yen. The photos are taken from my room)

Not a negative comment tho, the location is 20 minutes walk from the main station, fine if weather permits. There’s blue line bus stops at the Bell Mall diagonal across the road but the bus stops at around 3 pm.

The room was spacious, the view was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel provided slippers and bathrobes; the little luxury items that made a difference. We stayed a few days to look around Mt Fuji with a hired car, so I can’t comment on location in terms of public transport. There is a shopping mall nearby, it’s handy to buy a few things. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. The coffee shop next to the carpark has great coffee.

One male staff in the afternoon wasn’t helpful, he gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered (on the day we checked in and the night before we checked out). The rest of the staff were lovely. On the day we checked out, the lady was wonderful. She did everything the other guy wouldn’t help the night before. She was friendly and professional. She wears a Senior character on her jacket (sorry I forgot her name).

It’s is one of the biggest room we stay during our Japan trip. In the picture the hotel looked bit out of date , however in real it was much nicer ! Though it’s just a 2 start hotel , it can reach the same level as some of the 4 star hotel! we love it so much. The location was nice as well, many restaurants around. It will take some distance to see the prefect view of Fuji, however as a traveler without private car, we thought it was a prefect location to stay .

The reception was not super helpful, they are not able to speak English and also not willing to help non Japanese speaker. But it is ok for me to, just compared with most of the Japanese friendly people , their non helpful bit stand out .

This hotel was super nice as we had a room with the view of Mt. Fuji from the room window. The staff was very polite, and the room was comfortable. It was close from Lake Kawaguchiko, so we could drive around to find the local attractions around the lake, and there were many restaurants to choose around. If someone is looking for a quiet place, but close enough to see Mt. Fuji, I highly recommend this hotel.

Although our visit was mid May, which was not exactly a peak season, we struggled to find a car park, especially at night when we drove back from dinner. Otherwise, everything was perfect for my wife and me.

The view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel is wonderful and the size of the rooms is very large (especially for Japanese standards). It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Moreover, the area is a little less touristy which is nice and had a number of very good restaurants around including a large supermarket complex.

The distance from the holtel by foot to the the main attractions in Fujiwakaguchiko (35-55 min) as well as the train station (20 min to Kawaguchiko) is a bit frustating and certainly with the poor connections this was the one downside we had. We also specifically requested a room with a view of Mt. Fuji and upon arrival the staff were not the most accomodating.

Lovely hotel. Fabulous location. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a Mt Fuji facing room, as well as adjacent rooms for our kids and were beyond thrilled! The view from the room was fo die for. So many restaurants, convenience stores and a mall just a stone’s throw away from the hotel. A pleasant walk to the station/ bus stop. The facilities were amazing - onsen, massage chairs, vending machine, coin laundry, computers, restaurant on-site. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

The double room bed size for 2 people could be a little bigger, but we managed just fine.
