Location is close to all the action in Osaka. Rooms are a good size and well appointed. Amenities available in reception area to reduce waste. Directly across the road from hotel is the nightlife area of restaurants and clubs. Breakfast options outside hotel are few so recommend you book with breakfast included.

Nothing to fault.

Location is very good, very convenient. Highly recommended for people who love shopping. The bath room also big enough ( by compared to the room size) . All the staffs there are very kind , and pretty! Another surprise is they serve steak in the buffet breakfast!

Due to the convenience of its location (just next to the main road), it is quite noisy at night, eg after 10PM. But this is expected..

Location! Location!! Location!!! The hotel is located right next to Dotonbori. This means visitors can go to those 24 hrs facilities like ICHIRAN Ramen and Don Quijote without wasting traveling time. The bath is big enough to fit 2 people, this is rare in Japan.

It was quiet during the day, with lots of activity in the neighborhood starting early evening and into the night. Noise level wasn't an issue even with several windows in my room facing the street. Staff was pleasant, rooms very clean and comfortable - beds were western style and soft. Breakfast was a buffet with more than you can really imagine on it - including wonderfully light desserts! Location is great for going out to eat dinner many choices and near subway station for exploring.

We arrived around 1, asked if we could check in early, and were politely told "we could check in at 3" Early check in isn't an option, but they do check your bags for you, so we found a coffee shop had lunch and hung out while we waited to check in. If you plan it better, you could go exploring while waiting to check in. Still As you can see I didn't mark them down on this, just an FYI. Would definitely stay here again.

The location cannot be beat. It’s literally a step away from Dotonbori, and very well connected with the rest of Osaka with Namba Station a few minutes walk away. The room was reasonably large for what I booked, and I especially loved the shower which had a very large space, entirely separate from the toilet, with a bath and stand up shower - a first that I’ve seen in Japan where hotel bathrooms can be a little cramped.

Being next to Dotonbori is a blessing and curse - if you’re an early sleeper, you might not like this due to the noise from the street coming through well into the night.

This is the third or fourth time I've stayed here. Aside from a legal blunder the front staff did the last time, the hotel is great. The location can't be beat, and the prices are more than fair. I haven't tried the cafe downstairs, but it looks like a pleasant place for coffee and a cup cake.

As I mentioned, I had an uncomfortable experience last time I stayed here, but after complaining about it, the situation was not repeated this time. (Word of advice for foreigners living in Japan: NO hotel can ask you for your zairyuu card--only law enforcement has such authority. If any hotel asks for your zairyuu card, you can legally refuse.)

The location is really great. Right next to Dotonbori, which is right where you want to be as a street food-loving tourist, but we never had any problems with noise or rowdy people. The train station is within a few blocks, and goes to Shin-Osaka station, so we had no issue getting to/from the shinkansen.

It's fun that there's a little lounge area with snacks and drinks, but the drink table was just a table with a bunch of bottles of alcohol and some open bottles of mixers/juice sitting out to share. It felt a bit like a college party. There was nowhere to recycle empty cans or bottles, so when I used the rest of the tonic, I didn't know what to do with the bottle. But it's cute that there are recipes for mixed drinks.

The room was a great size, enough room for both our suitcases out on the floor. The hotel is in a great location, right on the Dotonburi river in all the action. However, because of this, you can hear a lot of noise from outside in some of the rooms - there is loud music playing every weekend from around 9 till gone midnight right outside the hotel which made it impossible to sleep. We asked the staff to move room but because they didn't have many rooms available we had to move to a double room, then move out of the room the next day and into a twin room. Once we got to the quieter room from then on the stay was great. I would stay here again as long as we got a quiet room.

Nice enough hotel but rooms were small.  No room to open two suitcases.  A very good location a couple of minutes from a metro subway station very close to Dotonbori if that's what you want.  If you do have heavy bags to get onto the subway from the hotel, walk past the first stairway entrance and there is a lift/elevator tucked around a corner.  We didn't eat in the hotel but had a good coffee in the bar at the bottom.  Good array of amenities available in the lobby.

A little more space in the hotel room would have been helpful. These rooms were the smallest we experienced in our 7-city travels in Japan.

The location is literally next to dotonbori, it’s in a prime location however it’s the staff who make this hotel 10/10 everyone who I interacted with at the front desk and lobby were friendly & assisted me and went above & beyond. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job could not fault anything about it. The bathroom was amazing one of my favorite things about getting back after a long day on the metro and and walking for hours was retreating to an amazing bathroom to unwind. Beds were super comfortable and aircon was perfect, I love a chilly sleeping atmosphere and the thermostat got there which was not the case at my previous hotel that aircon did not reach below 20 degrees so the room was too warm and stuffy. So I appreciated the cooling system the Cross had and it gave me the restful sleep I needed that I didn’t get in Tokyo. Highly recommended

Nothing really but myself and 2 teen/adult sons were in a triple room. It was comfortable but small space as I know alot of travellers with families need alot of room. It was nothing major for me but if you require more room I’d suggest upgrading to a larger room.
