Location is only a short walk to the river & main Gilco man attraction. Room was huge compared to the usual jap 3-star hotels. The toilet was separated from the shower. Bath tub had jacuzzi function. Lounge was a fun place where there was a buffet of free amenities to choose from, free wine, coffee, tea and we even had a blast with the 1 hour free karaoke room. There was even free curry rice during the afternoon and also 2 free massage chairs to rest in . Darts machine & some games for the kids can also be found in the lounge. For the price I paid. This was more than value for money.

We stumbled upon this property for a last minute booking when a friend's Airbnb felt a bit too tight nearby. The amenities offered are very extensive and unique. There is self service soda, bubble milk tea, shaved ice, coffee and even alcohol (I didn't try). There were also many other items helpful such as different shampoos to try, disposable cool towels for the hot outdoor outings. The hotel is at the edge of Dotonburi, so close enough to the action without being too noisy. There is a coin op laundromat very closeby along with a 7-eleven. The hotel is conveniently located about 1 block from the north entrance of the Namba station.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in Japan. Don’t let the adult only love hotel scare you- I stayed as a single traveler and never once felt weird about it! The hotel was beautiful and impeccably clean, truly every possible comfort and amenity you could need was included, they even provided certificates when I checked in that allowed me to get room service 3 times for free. The rooms are very large with full bathrooms and anything you need included. There’s also a whole area in the lobby with samples of any personal hygiene item you could need, and even self serve free snacks and alcohol. it’s also incredibly conveniently located to to subway station and Dotonbori area. I would stay here again no question, either with a partner or as a solo traveler!

Totally loved the ambiance. Omg the bathroom! Jetz in the tub. Bubble baths. They have it! Separate are for bath, toilet, sink. Mini fridge. Microwave. Coffee maker. But they had coffee, sodas, juice, alcohol and more in the lobby, so I didn't use the coffee maker. Great location. You can walk to Dotonbori strip, which is accessible if you have a wheelchair.. there's a ramp. You don't have to worry about food. They have it from 7am to 5pm. Great curry! Very helpful staff. Always willing to help. 5 mins walk from HIPS where you can find an elevator to Osaka metro. Google was not helpful with finding wheelchair access to the metro.

I would have liked breakfast items. No laundry facilities. (Didn't realize when I booked)

One of the best and most unique hotels we have stayed at. It literally has everything you need and more - free toiletries, free soft drinks and popcorn, massage chairs, darts, even karaoke rooms! Our room was very spacious and had a great bathtub with a TV next to it. Impressive hotel and a must visit place if you are in Osaka. Dotonbori str. is close by, as is Namba station.

Our stay was only for 4 nights, would have loved to spend more time there.

I can’t believe the value you get for your money! I read reviews of people saying the same thing before I came and was sceptical but it surpassed my expectations. Seriously, do not be put off that it’s labelled as a ‘love hotel’, if it is, you seriously wouldn’t know it to stay there. The room is just exceptional for the money you pay, I had a 4 poster bed with curtains to draw, jacuzzi style bathtub with a tv init!? Did I mention they provided FREE FOOD & ALCOHOL!? Yes actual free alcohol. It’s incredibly close to all the action, great transport links. I will definitely stay here again or any other city in Japan where this chain is available!

That I didn’t stay longer!

The most amazing location, right at the end of dotonbori street, so you’re in the action but quiet when you retire. The free bar and amenities at the lobby is just insane. We loved it all so much we decided to stay in another Bali An hotel in Kawasaki. Friendly staff and super clean. Yes, it’s a love hotel and we were skeptical about booking it but in the end it’s just a normal hotel and you don’t have kids running around. The manager even came with us to show us where to park our car as we couldn’t find the car park affiliated with them. They had offered to repay us if we parked it in front of the hotel, but that was full. Seriously, this place is awesome. Only one thing…

… the bed was probably the most uncomfortable we had in Japan as it was so soft and there was no support for my aching back. We are in the Bali An in Kawasaki now and the bed is much better here, but everything else was better in Osaka.

This hotel does an excellent job of anticipating every traveller's needs and providing a solution at very reasonable rates, and often, free. All toiletries and refreshments are inexpensive or complimentary. Not just the basics but SPF, face masks, perfume etc. Late checkout is possible for a very reasonable hourly rate. They don't nickel and dime the traveller and for most people, having complimentary options without having to fight for it or pay through the nose means you don't end up abusing the generosity. I wish more hotels would take a page from their book and make travel this stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Not a dislike but a note for the uninitiated - the neighbourhood looks dodgy but never felt unsafe. Osaka in general and this neighbourhood in particular seems a little more gritty than other places in Japan.

The location, right of Dotombori Street was perfect - on the quieter side of the street literally a half block away from the action. And the amenities were INCREDIBLE. I have never stayed at a hotel that offered so many free amenities -- the lobby was stocked with extra and specific pillows, shampoo/conditioner, face masks, soaps, bath products, massagers, and more. The massage chair in the room was an extra touch. Don't forget to leave your key at the front desk if you want your room refreshed. All in all, this was a great experience and great value for money.

What a cool place! A bit off the wall but in a fun way. 24 hour self serve drink bar, coffee, tea and stronger stuff, plus food available in the evening and morning. Rooms are nice, a bit of a different layout, (our room anyway, not sure if they are all likenl this) you walk in and step up into an area with the sink, a door to the shower, and another to then toilet, then step down into the bedroom. Cool curtains around the bed, lots of amenities available in the room, and even more in the lobby! Pretty much anything you can ask for they have. Location is perfect, right on the edge of Dotonbori, so you're a couple minutes from the action, but don't have the noise when you're done for the evening. I definitely suggest trying the place, we will stay again when we come back to Osaka!
