The hotel is gorgeous, the pool is so beautiful and open until 11pm if you fancy a nighttime dip. The food and cocktails are fabulous and the staff were wonderful. Guido and Priscilla were just amazing, so helpful. The morning yoga was also a nice touch.

This is a bit of a weird one but the lighting in the rooms wasn’t great. All of the lights were on the same switch/circuit which means it’s impossible to do any kind of mood/soft lighting. Not a big deal but a bit annoying at night if you want a bit of a softer atmosphere. Bath robes, coffee making facilities, and a wee fridge would have been an advantage in the rooms, but again not a huge issue.

Una Vida is absolutely beautiful, gorgeous and amazing!!! The concierge team Guido and Daniela were top notch. They helped us arrange everything from spa treatments, hotel activities and taxi rides. It was great to not have to worry about every details because they took care of everything. I also want to mention that the bartenders/waiters are awesome as well. Our room had a breathtaking view!!! Outside shower and tub was everything!!! would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking to visit Tulum and have a wonderful experience!! Thank you Una Vida!!!

Hola, this is place is amazing. We enjoyed everything in this real boutique hotel where you are not too far from the beaches but you are in a pretty white area with a lot of silent and good vibe. All the staff is great and really polite, in particular, we got a lot of suggestions from Guido (you are the best). he is always very available and supportive in any requests/questions. Thanks Guido. We had good time in the swimming pool and restaurant thanks to Santos and his amazing margarita. Thank all for this amazing vacation.

This was our second time staying at Una Vida and it was just as good as we remembered - peaceful, magical and comfortable. We loved the room which was beautifully decorated, chic and understated, the pool, the whole hotel setting and downtown neighborhood. This place really is boutique and special, with also access to the Bardo amenities. We enjoyed it here if not more than staying on the beach. Thank you to Guido and all staff for looking after us and also recommending an amazing local restaurant on the last night called El Agavero, which was amazing in terms of atmosphere and food. We also ate at Negro Huitlacoxe, which was phenomenal (be sure to get the corn), and enjoyed a cheese crust shrimp taco at Sabor de Mar in downtown Tulum. Love love love and we’ll be back soon.

Welcoming, attentive Concierge team, bravo Dany, Jonh and Ari! Excellent support from Mario and team. Very peaceful and relaxing place but also welcoming of children. Our infant loved the main pool as private villa pool slightly cold for her. Villa excellent standard of finish, lots of space and the outdoor private area is very tranquil but a good space for beers plus has a good weber charcoal bbq. Downstairs bedroom has a brilliant open air bath tub in addition to its ensuite. 2 rooms upstairs both also ensuite. Cleaning team always very precise and easily contacted via concierge. Dinner at the Ananda restaurant was v good and you can sit with a pleasant view of the pool. We had a really lovely family time here. If you want to have spa facilities you can easily walk to the connecting sister hotel.

What a dream! Una Vida is the perfect place to stay in Tulum, an intimate boutique-style hotel ideally located in the jungle and within a 5-10 minute taxi to town or a short bicycle ride (you can rent bikes for free from the front desk.) Highly recommend it for adults looking for a quieter getaway or downtime between their explorations. We celebrated our wedding at Kima, a beautiful venue only a 5-minute drive away so location was perfect. Great place for groups traveling together who want their privacy but also a common area to hang out at. We had 30 guests staying here with us and enjoyed being able to gather at the pool here and at Bardo (the sister hotel on property). The guest experience managers were readily available through WhatsApp, booking us dinner reservations, taxis, and excursions. They were willing to go above & beyond to make our stay special and effortless. They'll deliver filtered drinking water when you need it and even provided me with a Nespresso machine upon request. HUGE thank you to Mara, Daniella, and Guido for making our stay what it was. We stayed in a tropical king suite with a plunge pool. Our room was small but felt so private, quiet, and comfortable, with lovely decor, and it was very clean. The plunge pool was great to cool off in between activities. My favorite part was the outdoor shower and bathtub. Ours was on a screened-in private porch. It's not a big restaurant on the property, more of a counter and a couple of outdoor tables but the option for room delivery was perfect and it was convenient to have it all available on-site when we needed it. Bardo had a bit more space if you prefer to sit for your meals. And the food and cocktails at both were all delicious! We loved the daily yoga offerings and additional experiences. I highly recommend the sound healing experience, we booked a private session with six of us women on my wedding morning — it was a transformative experience I'll always cherish.

Due to the bathrooms opening to the outdoor shower in some room types, they don't have AC and can get quite warm (but the split AC unit in the bedroom kept us cool). There were a couple of price discrepancies with experiences and taxis, so as always be aware and confirm before booking or getting in a taxi.

The property is so unique and relaxing! Every small detail added to the experience from the trees, candles lit every night, decorations and especially the staff who goes above and beyond to help improve your vacation. The hotel staff (especially concierge) went above and beyond to help us find restaurants, tours, beach parties & make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Restaurant staff, house keepers and security always greet you with a warm smile & a good day ◡̈ I could go on about our wonderful vacation here for days, Thank you Una Vida for a much needed and amazing trip.

Beautiful hotel by night and day, everywhere. Cleaning room is very good, people are very kind. Restaurant is delicious. The perfect place to discover Tulum’s area.

I don’t understand why the price on the menu of the restaurant is not the price you will pay. I don’t talk about the service/tip but about taxes from nowhere, it’s strange. I don’t care about the price because it’s not so expensive even it is not the price of Tulum, but I just want to pay 300 pesos if the price is 300 pesos (I will add obviously the service/tip, that’s not the trouble ). Another stupid thing, you will be charge 8000 pesos in check-in bill at arrival for… I still don’t understand, balance is done at check-out but all these things should not be. This is holidays not a John Charles Fields test !

All the staff were outstanding - helpful and polite, they went above and beyond the call of duty! In particular, the concierge staff helped us organise tours, transport and reservations; taking out all of of the stress so that we could relax and fully enjoy our trip. We have never received service quite like this before and it was hugely appreciated. The candlelit pool in the evening had a lovely, chilled vibe and was a great place to unwind.

The only thing that could have possibly been improved was the access to the beach. We were hoping there would be a shuttle service, though the staff were very helpful in sorting us scooters to ride (as taxis are very expensive in this area).

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle. The pool was the highlight of our stay, providing the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful Mexican sun. What really stood out to us, though, was the exceptional service we received from Guido. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable, offering helpful recommendations for local activities and restaurants, and always making himself available to answer any questions we had. Overall, I cannot recommend Una Vida Hotel enough. It truly exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting for a wonderful vacation.
