We enjoyed excellent service from Sojourn’s friendly and professional staff. They were able to accomodate us with a slightly earlier check in and portacot set up so our toddler could have a nap as soon as we arrived. The place was sparkling clean and very well fitted with plenty of amenities. Loved our stay! Thank you!

Just a thought, perhaps a small bottle of cooking oil could be helpful for those using the cooking facilities. It was also a bit tricky to get up the stairs with a pram, I only realised as we were leaving that there’s a sign for a separate accessible entrance (but didn’t see it).

We loved that it was new, spacious, warm and comfortable! The staff at reception were super friendly and accommodating as we needed an early check in. We loved the small touches such as a dishwasher in the kitchenette, the coffee machine and a cookie to enjoy with our cup of tea. A really nice stay!

We didn’t like that the stairs were really steep out the front and we had to walk all the way around the back to come in with a pram, not a big deal but annoying when we first arrived we couldn’t get through the back access without checking in. The lamp next to the bed was broken which was annoying but not a biggie, the thing that bothered us the most was the air con. It was really noisy and was making a dripping/gurgling noise.

Such a great use of space and had everything you need including a full kitchen, heated towel rack, and shared washer/dryer (although takes quite some time to both wash and dry, still so helpful to have available). The room was super clean, beds were so comfy, sheets felt luxurious, and remote controlled blinds. They also have 24 hr concierge, not that we needed it but was nice to always be greeted by someone. Finally great location, close to restaurants and shopping and all the Wellington attractions. Couldn't recommend this place more to anyone staying in Wellington!

Shower was a bit snug and could use two side tables instead of just the one. But really just nit picking, because overall was a wonderful stay.

What a blessing to find this place! We had the greatest 5 nights in Wellington thanks to where we stayed. The staff are all exceptional. The rooms are immaculately clean with perfect block out curtains and soundproofing. Staying so close to Cuba St, we wondered if we would hear noise, but there was nothing. The cafes, restaurants and bars within 100m was almost too good. We had a room with a kitchenette that had everything that we wanted, plus an excellent laundry on each floor. Our bed was perfect as well. We usually stay somewhere that is considerably more expensive, but we will only stay here in the future

The front door is up stairs and there isn’t any designated parking in that area. This is only an issue if you have your own car, but prior planning and off peak hours arrival times would make this a nonissue. The staff are more than willing to help if you’re stuck or unfamiliar with the neighbourhood. It’s a small sacrifice though

Terrific location adjacent to Cuba Street with many cafes and restaurants nearby. (recommend the pizzas at Scopa) .Short walk to waterfront and CBD. Cooking facilities and dishwasher. 8 steps at front door but close, easy ramp access from back of building via Glover Park (just phone reception if checking in and they will open door, otherwise can use card key after check-in). Free use of fitness centre, pool/spa nearby.

Outlook over grungy apartments - however, interesting!

Great location on Ghuznee St by Cuba St, easy to walk everywhere and a very reasonable rate compared to other hotels. The staff were also great to deal with and very helpful. Very clean and comfortable room with table and two chairs and a well equipped kitchen area (fridge, 2 rings and microwave) to self cater if needed. Good heating/aircon. I had a quiet room on the back of the hotel. The continental breakfast was great with a fresh muffin too. Very close to the Wellington Eye Centre if you need to stay over as I did.

No opening windows which isn't unusual in city centre hotels, and no real view due to location, but that wasn't an issue for me.

This hotel offers a high-end experience in the heart of Wellington city. The location is superb, being only a short stroll to Cuba St and the many food options available. We also found it handy when visiting our daughter at university halls of residence. The room itself is immaculate with high specification fittings, including a very nice kitchenette and bathroom. The kitchenette had mod-cons such as a Nespresso machine and frother and a dish-drawer dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable and there were good options with the TV, although the screencasting was a bit overcomplicated for us to use. The room itself was nice and warm, with a heatpump unit. We were on the 9th floor and enjoyed a lovely view across the city. A couple of things we can't comment on since didn't use: parking or the breakfast. Overall, this will be where we stay when in Wellington from now on!

The hotel has just been operating for six months or so, and are keen on feedback. My only thing for them to consider was maybe a bit of unnecessary noise at night from pump/dryer running next door - can this be just during the day?

Its right in the heart of the cafe/restaurant/bar area of Wellington so its very easy to explore from there. Wellington isnt too large so you can get around on foot to most places; the museum, harbour, botanical gardens, walks etc.

There was a bar right outside the bedroom which was loud until late and there is nothing you can do about that. I was on the ground floor so maybe moving up would be beneficial. They did offer to move me after night one but I only had one more night and couldnt be bothered to go through the hassle of moving.

Very compact but ultra clean rooms, nice clean bathroom and kitchen very clean. Bed very comfy. Fantastic location, walked everywhere round Cuba Street and down to TSB area and wharf walkway. Rooms pretty small but we did pay a little bit extra to get a bigger room and the bed was also bigger which was a definite requirement as I think in the standard room it is only a small double.

No outlook from our room so does feel abit closed in with blinds down and the size of rooms pretty small, our friends had a standard room in which the bed was tiny but the also had a corner room so blinds went up on two sides of the room and they had an outlook which was great.

It was a fabulous experience staying with them. The Deluxe King Studio is spacious and really suits family with kids. The room is clean, cozy, with all the appliances that you may potentially need. The receptionist staff are so friendly and accommodating, they will really try all means within capacity to address your special requests. You just need to Inform them early, eg, carpark, babycot, quiet room, adjusted checkin / checkout time, etc. The location is just a few minutes walk from the famous Cuba street which is full of fantastic restaurants, pls remember to make reservation early as the popular ones are quite full during dining hours. The must-go Tepapa museum is just 10 mins away, my kids had a wonderful time there when we had to run errands in Wellington.

The only downside is the noise as it’s next to a night bar that opens till 3am. Remember to make request directly to restaurant if you are sensitive to noise.
