The location is fantastic!!! You are in the heart of the bustling city but once you step into the lobby you are in a peaceful serenity. The hotel itself is beautiful! Everything is so clean and updated and welcoming. The host at the front desk, Diogo, was exceptional! He welcomed us with warm greetings and spent time explaining to us about Porto and the many amenities offered at the hotel. Diogo’s passion for his job is inspiring and it made our trip that much more enjoyable!

Beautiful hotel on one of the main street in Porto with fabulous restaurants a stones throw away. The room was spacious and I loved the balcony and the views. We were on the 5th floor in room 501, the breakfast was great and I loved the shared terrace and plunge pool.

We were a family of 2 young children but were put on the 5th floor (the lift only goes up to the 4th floor and the 4th floor button is broken) so we had to constantly carry the buggy and the children up 2 flights of stairs. The main bedroom had no mirror in fact the only mirror in the whole place was the bathroom. Also the TV was awful it was hidden behind a reflective glass but you could only watch it at night as you couldn't see anything in the day because of reflection and there was no English channels or netflix ect.

Great location, nice staff, large and very comfortable bed. The hotel is on a pedestrian street, so Uber drops you off at the nearby street, about 50 m away. Which is not a problem, it’s just that we couldn’t see the hotel from the car, that’s all. It’s something to be aware of.

Our room was dark. The interior design didn’t look like 4 star hotel level although the necessary facilities were present. The bathtub was very scary (slippery) to get out. Maybe they should add a rubber mat to the bathroom. Breakfast was only ok: no yogurt and the fruit, when finished, was not replenished. I mean, it was a nice and comfortable stay, but the place lacks 4-star hotel chic, in my opinion

Very large room with great view of cathedral. Garden terrace was a great addition in the centre of the city with a brilliant plunge pool. Being on a pedestrianised road was great as much quieter though some delivery drivers and cars could get down. Fantastic central location and some really good restaurants just a short walk away. Reception staff were always happy to help.

The terrace bar was advertised as open between certain times but we struggled to raise any staff despite ringing the bell. Room decor was a little tired and needed attention as it looked like there had been a water leak in the bedroom ceiling and the shower design resulted in water leaking all over the floor which had caused historical damage to door floor and woodwork. Bathroom was ting for such a big room with toilet so close to the sink there was no room left. Breakfast service looked to be very slow with queues for everything especially the hot drinks which took ages to produce just one cup.

The Hotel was in an excellent location right in the city centre, only a five minute walk to the main shopping street, and right beside many excellent restaurants. I had a family room with a terrace that led onto the rooftop garden and bar. There was a spa situated in floor three. The charge for using the spa was €15 per person. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean our room was cleaned daily.

As there were four in our family I thought the daily charge of €15 per person for the use of the spa was expensive. The Spa was quite small and felt very enclosed and warm. The hot breakfast every morning looked like it was lying in dishes for quite some time and was cold. The tea and coffee machine and toaster were not working on two mornings that we were at breakfast. I felt the breakfast was very poor overall.

The hotel was fabulous, very well located on the Rua de Flores, which can get quite busy, however the hotel was an oasis of calm and peace. The roof garden and bar were excellent, great views from the garden from which you can see the cathedral and Clérigos tower. We went to the spa, the Roman bath was wonderful. The staff were all amazing and friendly. The hotel is very close to Sao Bento train and metro stations.

There was a very slight problem with the coffee machine in the room, which we reported and the staff said they would replace. The street does get very busy but our room was very quiet and peaceful.

My husband and I traveled around Spain and Portugal for 3 weeks and this was our favorite hotel. We had the 'superior apartment with city view' and the views were absolutely incredible! The apartment was on the top floor so we didn't have anyone above us and the balcony was great for enjoying a drink and looking over the city of Porto. The garden space was very large and nice to have in such a busy city as well. The hotel gave us a free welcome drink when we arrived and we enjoyed it in the peaceful garden space. The apartment itself was very large and spacious and the bedroom also had a view of the cathedral. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The top floor cannot be accessed by elevator so you have to take the elevator to the 4th floor and then walk upstairs to the 5th. This was not a problem for us but something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues.

Great location. On Main Street with easy access to shops and restaurants. Close to metro station and train station also. Great view of Porto and cathedral. Very friendly and helpful staff. Allowed us to leave bags before check in and after check out. Very clean and bright room. Kitchen had fridge / freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Garden area with sun loungers able to avail of. Did not make use of spa / gym / pool facilities but given good info on check in.

Our room was situated at the back of the hotel backing onto a street which if cars / people passing very loud. Room had a kitchen but limited crockery and utensils.

Our one bedroom suite was on the top floor with a 270 degree view of Porto including the cathedral. The space was large and beautifully furnished, exceeding our expectations by far. The balcony off the dining area was a perfect place to enjoy a meal or a glass of wine. We used the spa for a massage which was very good and reasonably priced. Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The TV (~ 30") is enclosed in a 60" mirror box so the picture is not too bright, sound low and no way to use an HDMI input. There was no grip bar at the slightly elevated tub so getting out must be done carefully. We made staff aware of this and they were quite interested in making adjustments to assure guest comfort and safety. The hotel is located on a beautiful mostly pedestrian street, very centrally located. Although our room was extremely quiet, the street was almost always too crowded for our liking.

Perfect location, super efficient, friendly and accommodating staff. We had a tour and needed to leave before the breakfast time and they opened the breakfast 15 min early for us. our room was super nice, clean and with a great view. Delicious breakfast. The historic building made it even more special.

The hotel shares space with a restaurant that held a party on the top floor saloon. The music and people were way too loud and nobody in the building could sleep until it was finished in the middle of the night. The staff was great listening to the complaints and trying to help, but with limited control of the situation. Parties can’t be allowed at a hotel that can’t be sound proof.
