Omgggg the beds were AMAZING. The staff were so friendly. The heating and aircon was nice. Spa pool relaxing. Sun shining through on a winter afternoon was very homely.

I got a major fright when I went to flush the toilet and the whole latch fell off 😂 I was half asleep, it made a heck of a noise, then I cracked up laughing 😅 was lucky the latch didn't fall down the toilet. That happening was more funny than it being something I didn't like. Even though Copthorne is aging I honestly think Copthorne holds so much character. Despite the wear and tear the experience was like staying at a family homestead. A little worn and old yet safe, homely and relaxing. Would defs stay again.

We traveled from Taranaki for a holiday with our 2 kids. Location was great close to everything and easy to get to and from the supermarket/ Lake front/ luge/ 3D trick art museum and mini golf with rabbits/animals. Heated pool and spa was great, Staff were fantastic and friendly. Our room was clean and simple, ample room and 2 double beds and hotel was very child friendly.

Unfortunately restaurant wasnt open for dinner the whole weekend and neither was room service ( so we were told), 2 rooms down from us those people were able to get room service. Only 1 spa was operating the other needed maintenance done.

Spa facilities were amazing and breakfast was yummy. Great location, not much travel time to everything we wanted to see. The coin operated laundry also came in handy when the kids went through alot more clothes then expected

Bath was full of water when we arrived. Didn't bother us too much but I'm glad we noticed before the toddler did :)

My Partner and myself have stayed here on a number of occasions.. I wont go anywhere else.. I love this place.. The whole mote experience is amazing and would recommend to many from as far as i can.. Thank you all for making our stay as comfy and happy as you can... Lovely people....

No room service hahahahaha.. but apart from that i can not and will not fault this place.. I love this place and will be back many times

bed was extremely comfortable and the room was warm with plenty of warm bedding. Linen was fresh and plenty of towels supplied. Great having option of hire towels for use when swimming.

We did not like the raised carpet in the room that was covering what we believe to be wires. This was a trip hazard.

Swimming pool and the area available for spectators is fantastic. Buffet is great definitely worth including when booking accomodation. Always a carpark available. Staff were very helpful. Overall a great enjoyable stay.

Families or anyone travelling with Children i think should be on the ground floor or levels 1 and 2 for easier access. Just something to think about

We travelled through the night & were warmly greeted. The pool & spa were the highlight for my tamariki & husband they thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of being able to access that! The gym was my fav part! The accessibility in & out of the building from where our room was located was choice! No fuss, no stress! & only a drive away from all the hotspots and where I needed to be during our stay. I’ve stayed here before with my netball team for the annual Kurangaituku tournament & i would absolutely keep coming back there! E kore nga mihi e maroke, e kore taku hōnore e mimiti.

It’s not so much a dislike because we made do but having tamariki & no access to outdoor areas within the vicinity was a bummer. I would have preferred a ground level room with access to the forecourt for them to have a run around but again not a dislike because we made do. Plenty of sights to see and experience around Rotorua for them to run off some energy.

The pools were fantastic - heated outdoor pool and two big spa pools - great for families. Lovely staff too. Delicious breakfast too. We will be staying again

I’d suggest taking the gym off the list as a facility you offer as every single machine is out of order and the weights machines are all broken and there are very few dumbbells for weights. Was really disappointed with the gym.

The location is great, it is very close to the main sights and the downtown. It is easy to access. Plenty of parking available. The beds were comfy. There was no traffic noise in the rooms. The rooms/building were clean. There was a heated pool and a jacuzzi which we enjoyed even in the not so great weather. There is a gym as well. Staff was friendly. Excellent value for price

We had a couple next door to us that were very noisy and stayed up til 4.30am they were in and out of their room and scream and yelling apart from that we loved our stay
