Every thing , stuff were very friendly and helpful .they also waited us until 2 am and made a nice surprise for our universary. Breakfast had many choices . Clean , location , services and every thing was perfect

The location is just perfect. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The breakfast was also spot on, lots of variety of fresh food. Laundry service was reasonably priced, excellent turnaround time. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious.

The elevator is very small, it would be too small for a decent sized powerchair and carer. The ramp for accessibility for wheelchairs is far too steep to be safe, the hotel is not wheelchair accessible because of this. There is also a step leading to the breakfast area (no ramp) for accessibility. Our wheelchair user is still able to walk a little so we were able to enjoy our stay, a non-ambulatory (not able to walk) wheelchair user would struggle here.

Location, staff and cleanliness.

Transfer from airport to hotel that was offered was not direct. Detour added over an hour which I would have preferred to avoid had I known…

Always worried whenever there are a few bad reviews, but no issues whatsoever. All the staff from check-in to housekeeping and kitchen to porters all were brilliant. Room was great, clean and had everything we needed - given that we wanted a location close to Sultanhamet, which was literally a few mins walk away. Had some great places to eat on our street, including a supermarket and plenty of dessert places. Location was great if you want to spend a few days in Istanbul with the Bazaar and old city sights all close by. The tram is as close you can get it and will take you to many places - we took it a few times to get to Galata and Taksim, stopping at Kabatas. Wi-Fi was good, breakfast had a few different options every day and just enough to keep my young lad happy. Plenty of space in the wardrobe, with a desk and side tables. Came in handy as i needed to do some work. Modern-looking room with comfy beds, and AC. It's a city centre location, so just far enough from the main road to miss most of the noise. I'll come back again for sure.

Location is excellent. Close to the grand bazaar and tram stop and the other major tourist sites eg blue mosque and hagia Sofia. Lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby Hotel staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. A very special thank you to Abdur Rahman at the front desk who helped from day one with lots of tips like getting around and where to shop. Even arranged taxis for us. Breakfast was pretty decent too. Had all the basics and some good extras. The staff in the restaurant were welcoming and loved playing with the kids. A special thanks to Yasmin and her colleagues who made us feel at home.

Everything was fantastic. Although my room was not the largest despite this it was very clean and well appointed with mini bar and everything you would need. The bathroom was large with a huge powerful shower. From the moment we arrived Ersin and the team were so helpful and friendly. On check in Ersin spent time with us at the bar over a drink to run through the hotel facilities and explain everything in detail. There was no hard sell. We chose to book dinner at a local rooftop restaurant with views of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Both the food and views were sensational. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Brilliant location near the main attractions in Istanbul. The staff couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. When we were checking in we were sat down and shown all the highlights to do during our stay, we ended up doing most of the activities and loved the city. Breakfast was great each morning. Bed very comfortable. Shower excellent. My partner had knee surgery a couple of weeks before going and the staff were quick to bring up ice to the room to help her. We really appreciated that.

Bit noisy at times with car horns and people chatting in the halls but it was manageable.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at Golden Royal Hotel. The family connection room was a delight to stay in and we were satisfied with the amenities provided. There was a good variety of healthy breakfast items served everyday. The staff were very kind, helpful and welcoming, with particular thanks to Abdurrahman and Yunus. One highlight is the great location of this hotel as it is within 15 minutes walk for all the main tourist attractions. We recommend this hotel and would book again if we return to Istanbul.

Nothing to add, except that loud noises can sometimes be heard from the corridor or the above floor when it's quiet at night.

We had an incredible stay. The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Yunus at the front desk took care of our guided tours and our travel to and from the airport. He was knowledgeable and we had an amazing time. Ibrahim took care of our luggage and offered help at every turn. Leaving the hotel and being on the bustling streets of Istanbul and a five minute walk to all the tourist attractions was incredible.

The only thing we didn’t like was that the family room accommodations have no view. ☹️ Just the buildings on the side. That being said we really didn’t spend too much time in the rooms. Walked to the Grand Bazaar and the streets every chance we got.

Location: Very close to Cemberlitas Tram Stop and within 15 mins of the four main attractions in Sultanhamet. - down the road. Supermarket directly opposite for convenience and international food options literally either side of the hotel, by way of Restaurants. Great room with a balcony view looking far and wide over the rooftops. Special shout out to Yunus and Abdul Rahman on Reception, along with Furkan the bell boy, Ibrahim from concierge, to Fatima with her pristine room cleaning and the lovely Restaurant staff.

Breakfast: uncovered food susceptible to flies but the Restaurant staff endeavour to keep this to a minimum. Would have preferred 2 single beds instead of the sofa bed which required extra padding for comfort.
