Motel 6-Schiller Park, IL - Chicago O'Hare

Very clean and remodeled rooms with close proximity to O'Hare. Plenty of parking on site and some good food options nearby within walking distance (There's a Denny's next door and a great little taco place across the street) as well as access to mass transit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a good place to stay at, especially if you're on a budget. Don't book this property thinking you're gonna get a luxury suite, but if you're gonna be out on the town all day and just need a place to crash, this will do just fine.

The only complaint I could think of would be the airplane noise. The hotel is located literally right beneath the approach to one of the runways at O'Hare, and the planes come in very low and loud. However if you turn the AC/Fan on in your room, if does drown out the noise and makes it easier to sleep. I also wish the rooms had fridges and a coffee maker.

The location was perfect for the short drive to the convention center. Also having Dennys nearby was perfect. The room was pretty tidy when we arrived.

The light in our bathroom flickered like crazy turning on. We had a little spider web on our air conditioning unit. That and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable. You can tell it's an older establishment and may need some repairs in the rooms. But we had a place to sleep.

I liked that they had a washer and dryer, they even accep cards to work. Well stocked gas station and Dennys near by. Rosemont Convention Center is $5 away in Uber or 20 mins walking. Not the fanciest rooms, no chair to sit on, only the bed but there was cable TV that was working fine.

No chair in the room. No main light, only bathroom light and vanity light, the vanity light was enough to light the room but just.

The rooms were pretty clean and I like the area that it was by by the gas station by a Denny's restaurant

The TV in the room wasn't working which was fine because it was late at night and we were going to sleep in the room was kind of small there was no refrigerator or microwave

Clean and recently remodeled rooms near O'Hare airport at a great price. Staff was nice and courteous. Anytime I need a room close to O'Hare, this is where I'm coming!

I've seen in some of the reviews about the planes flying overhead being noisy. Yes, you can hear the planes when you are awake, but it really isn't that loud and not nearly loud enough to wake someone up, I didn't wake up a single time from any of these planes flying overhead and it really wasn't a big deal.

Price. Used this motel a handful of times in the past. Always clean, nice room size for budget facility. Easy walk across the parking lot to a Denny's for convenient meals

The only drawback for me is the lack of a mini fridge or coffee maker that some similarly priced places have. Not too big a deal for a one night stay, say if you're just coming for a concert (my usual reason) or other event and just want to stay overnight rather than driving straight home, but would be more of a negative for a longer stay.

Sure, the facilities are subpar in some ways, but for what I needed, it was great. Was attending an event at the Convention Center, where Hilton, etc., charge $150+ per night. Here I paid 40% of that, and it's only a 15-20 min walk away, so I got my healthy walking in going back and forth.

Sink drained somewhat slowly, fluorescent light a little erratic, bed springs a little noisy, and of course the airplane noise, but none of that really bothered me much.

Clean, cozy.

Older facility, so tub had a hole on the side, sink was cracked. Nice and clean though.

super close to O’Hare, got small shops around like 7-eleven and others (even a mall), heater in the room worked very well, rooms looked clean and tidy, rooms got everything u need to crush for a few nights, even tho close to o hare couldn’t rly hear the planes, staff was very nice

honestly, for the price we paid, we were more than satisfied. there’s nothing that we didn’t like.

it was nice and clean, we got a mini fridge and the beds very very comfortable

the bathroom door didn’t shut and the planes going overhead all night could get annoying- but we did understand it was there before booking
