Great location, very nice room, pick-up and drop-off shuttle

The check-in was a nightmare. I had the printed confirmation from Booking with me, but the employee couldn't find the reservation and was nearly ready to put me out on the street. He said that the hotel was fully booked and there wasn't a vacant room available. He suggested that I call Booking which I did. Booking indicated that they would call the Doubletree which I surmise did happen, as two hours after my initial approach to Reception a room was found for me. What a nightmare!!!

The entire room was big, very comfortable and with a beautiful view from the window. There was a spacious bathroom with good shower. Every thing seemed clean and working pretty well. They had forgotten to put some products for shower, but the staff came quickly with a lot of shampoo, soap and conditioner. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from a train station, what was great!

Once we arrived at our room we had some problems but the staff came quickly to fix. The toilet didn't stop flushing, the phone wasn't working and there was neither soap nor shampoo nor conditioner in our bathroom. The bath looked cleam but there was some white dust at the bottom so we did not use it.

This was a last-minute booking and recommended by Air Canada, due to our connecting flight to Montreal being canceled, this was an excellent experience. They gave us complementary bottled water and Double Tree cookies, they were amazing!!! We had a King room and my wife really enjoyed the bathtub to soak and relax. Luckily the bistro was still open for dinner and we had great burgers. Thank you!

Nothing to complain about

Staff were so friendly and helpful, despite being inundated with booking changes from disrupted travel (wild lightning storm). The bed was so comfortable and I slept very well. Oh, and the cookie was amazing. Having a courtesy shuttle from and to the airport was a big help.

Nothing to complain about, I was so grateful and the place was fantastic. Luxury!

The rooms were very clean. And the staff was more than accommodating

We booked at this location mainly because of the fact that my kids wanted to get in so swimming in our free time. Only to find out the pool was not available (big disappointment)

The staff answered all my questions every time I had one and there was no type of negative feedback from the staff.

This was my first time booking a hotel and so I wasn't to sure if room cleaning had to be asked for or if new towels needed to be asked for. But the staff and hotel did nothing wrong, it was more of lack of knowledge on my part.

Room, Lobby, Gibsons, chocolate chip cookies, airport shuttle

Gym was inadequate, Starbucks coffee was sub par and overpriced. The tv, while very modern and good quality, lacked the ability to stream movies.

It was right next to the convention center. Parking was convenient. The room was spacious and clean.

No microwave in the room. Not enough pillows for the both the bed and pullout couch.

Rooms were very quiet and private. Very close to the convention center and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

Price was a bit high. No free breakfast

Staff was in point and fun. Joked with one staff member(manager I believe) about his tie and we chatted like old friends. Young lady who checked us in gave us cookies! Rooms were clean and quite, even with two conventions going on across the street.

With it still being covid season, kinda, the house keeping had to either be requested or comes after three days. This is pretty standard now, no matter the hotel so no biggie. Could smell weed here and there outside or in elevator-again, this just became recreational for the area and there was two conventions going so this was also expected. Nothing against the hotel at all, just sharing a real life review. I think the hotel did great over all in this odd odd world we live in! Much better than other places I’ve stayed lately.
