The hotel was just what we were looking for. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. The cleaning staff was helpful and accommodating. The rooms looked newly renovated. They were airy with high ceilings and new floors. The outside patio was lovely and the grounds and the pool were lovely as well. It was a very convenient location to the beaches, the town of Gloucester and Rockport. All attractions are easily accessible by car. There is a lovely market right across the street and a big market/plaza down the road within walking distance. The price was reasonable for the area, especially compared to other hotels.

There was a problem with the room assignments. We wanted to be next to each other but there was some confusion, so I voluntarily opted for rooms that were near and that was fine. There were some problems with the keys. One room could only be accessed by the patio door (there are 2 entrances to each room). I did not want to keep going back to the office to try to fix it, so we just worked around that. The same with the wifi. We could not get it to work and tired of trying to make it work with the offie and opted to use our hot spot when necessary. I believe if we had been persistent, the staff would have been able to accommodate us, but we just did not want to invest the time.

Parking is a breeze we took our F350 Superduty and was a little concerned about parking space but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised...the rooms are huge and very nice ...TV is larger than most hotel rooms... coffee ..refrigerator and microwave in the room...we had no problems with anything😁👍

We really couldn't think of anything we didn't like...we were there during Hurricane Lee (9/23) and they called us in advance to tell us they didn't have a generator...which was no big deal to us..so if you're looking for a place to book at the last minute I think you'll like this place😁

Bathroom door didn't close! It was stuck and impossible to close which was weird They were pacing the parking lots and kept closing one of the two entrances/exits, and you never knew which one would be open and it made parking difficult since the workers parked their trucks there and they closed the lot next to our room (142) Was hoping for more pillows, and they were super flat, and the office closes at 9, so we were out of luck when we got home at midnight

We both LOVED the high ceilings and the floor without carpeting. We enjoy carpeting at home, but we’ve always been suspect of carpeting in hotels and motels. Good call, Captain! We also enjoyed the pool. It was a nice surprise, because staff told us it wouldn’t be open during our stay, but it was! Also, the property was in a super quiet location. The back porch was really nice to sit outside. And the organic grocery store across the street was just perfect. And the staff were all super warm and pleasant.

The receptionist was very pleasant to speak with! We were VERY pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room. It was so spacious, clean, had vaulted ceilings...and we really love the hardwood floors. My son gets bad allergies in carpeted rooms, and a lot of times we don't know what to anticipate, so THANK YOU! Our room also had a back door that went to the pool, that looks deceivingly small in the photos. We should have brought tennis rackets and a basketball for the courts! We plan to come here in the future when there's a need or want to stay over in Gloucester, even though we're only an hour's drive away!!! And being so close to Good Harbor, Shaw's, as well as a Healthy Market and Thrift Store across the street are bonuses!

Ran out of toilet paper. No one to contact and no extra in the room. Lights were super bright. You should update the website to say when the pool will be open. We would have been prepared to go to the pool had the website had memorial day weekend the pool was open.

Good sized room, comfortable bed, decent shower. Heating worked well which was big relief on a cold day. Supermarket over the road had a good selection of food and drink so we heated up food rather than drive to a restaurant in the pouring rain.

It is a simple roadside motel with no views and no restaurants in walking distance. But it was perfect for one night's stop.

Check in and out were quick. The room was basic and sparce..spacious but only 1 chair. There was no ice as they had not gotten a delivery? Location was good, close to stores, Rockport and Gloucester. It took forever for the hot water to get to us in the morning. No coffe makee or lobby coffee. All in all it was fine for our needs..would stay again if in the area.

Nice big room. Clean and quiet. Could have used an extra chair with so much empty space. Another night stand would have been useful too.

Front desk closed early. No one there in the morning.

The bed was very comfortable. The location was close to Yankee Fleet for our scheduled fishing trip the next morning. The key arrangements worked out great. Enjoyed watching a basketball game on the TV, The room was warm and comfortable.

Next day our fishing trip at Yankee Fleet was cancelled.
