Great location within walking distance to the center of Rockport and easy drive to parks and restaurants in Gloucester.

Breakfast is not the usual full hot breakfast we have experienced in inns. It is more "European style" with fruit, yogurt, pasties, meat, cheese and coffee that you pick up in the kitchen each morning. 2 of the rooms have king beds and lots of space but require walking up & down full staircases which might be a problem if you have joint problems or disability.

This charming, eclectic, boutique hotel was a delight! Located just a short walk from the Rockport downtown and beaches, the location was superb. I loved all the little touches throughout, including a breakfast to go customized for me as I checked out. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating (thanks, Nick!). And thank you for having Peet’s coffee stocked in the room. ☕️ 🤎 I would definitely recommend this property for a unique experience on the North Shore.

Nothing. The only thing I would say is that if a guest has mobility issues, request a room on the first floor. The narrow, winding staircase might be difficult to navigate.

I liked the way breakfast was presented by filling out the form for the next morning.

The only thing that could’ve been made better is possibly I could have gotten a heads up about the staircases. I have a bad knee and it is difficult for me to climb stairs these days! We had to go up two flights of stairs to get to our room, although Marshall was very respectful and asked if we needed any help carrying all luggage up the stairs.

Breakfast was a nice mix of options and the Peet's coffee was wonderful. We had a kitchen in our suite, so we brought food for light fare before the concert at Shalin Lui for a relaxed evening. Marshall was a gracious host and it made for a phenomenal time with old friends. Hoping to stay again and bring my husband for a show this summer. Highly recommend.

I honestly can't think of a thing I'd change. I wish I had stayed longer instead of just an overnight. To enjoy the turntable in the lobby and paw over the vinyl collection. To enjoy the terry bathrobe with my morning cup of coffee. To sleep in because the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable ever.

Marshal and his team have a lovely location and the area is very quiet at night. It’s a cute almost old fashioned Inn type of place

Parking is a bit cramped but the only other issue was no privacy curtains for the big 6’ wide full glass sliding door with everyone parking right beside it. If anyone is sleeping in that room, there is little privacy

Loved the whole vibe of the Inn. Lots of nice extra touches, candy, water bottles, the air machine lovely scents, the music playing and the decor very eclectic!!!! Marshall was very nice and hospitable!!! Gave us great suggestions on places to visit and eat, even gave me the scone recipe. They were yummy!!!

Everything was great. Only thing that was difficult were the 2 sets of stairs to climb we were on the 3rd floor.

This is a wonderful place. You can't ask for a better location in Rockport; there are so many amazing things to see and do within walking distance. The interiors of the inn are so well designed,- colorful, witty, unique spaces full of surprises. There are several bowls of candy always available, which made me happy. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked pastries. We had the two story suite, and the kitchen on our lower level was excellent. There's easy parking behind the building, and if you want to sit outside, there are plenty of options. Everything is immaculate.

The bed was not particularly comfortable, as the mattress sagged. I solved the problem by sleeping on it crosswise! There wasn't a closet, so we hung clothes on pegs.

Everything! Marshall was super responsive and helpful, even from before I checked in! The inn is so tastefully decorated with a warm and cozy ambiance. The bed in ‘Even Keel’ room was perfect for a good night’s rest. Also loved that Netflix, Hulu, YouTube etc were all available on TV. One more thing worth mentioning is the delicious breakfast, especially the Lemon Ginger Scone made by Marshall himself!

Beautifully redone inn , artistic taste in details Of common living rooms, bathrooms and artwork Very convenient , few blocks walk to Main Street of Rockport Bed very comfortable. You get Netflix and you tube channels on the TV Owner Marshall is very friendly and helpful Hope to go back in the future and Would highly recommend This lovely boutique hotel

Possibly due to covid the breakfasts were repetitive ( yogurts, boxed cereals , hard boiled egg but did have some fresh pastry , bagel) and Served in a bag with plastic utensils , not in keeping with the elegance of the inn Would have been nice to have more of a buffet , with options for Oatmeal , toast/English muffins , scrambled eggs even if not making a more complicated breakfast On the other hand there were options for fresh berries , melon and bananas and excellent croissants and scones Pleasant seating on the porch So overall a few minimal changes would make it just that much better But again overall very pleased and would definitely return

Boutique size of the inn allowed for a friendly and informal experience. The owner, Marshall, cheerfully checked us in and helped us with luggage at check in and check out. The Crow's Nest is a lovely updated suite with separate bedroom and living area, spotlessly clean, with a private entrance, a king bed, leatherette sofa/day bed, and flat screen TVs. The inn has a small parking area. Nice touches included a handwritten greeting from the proprietors on the coffee table; an in-room fragrance diffuser with a selection of essential oils; thick, fluffy robes, an ample supply of Beekman toiletries and excellent lighting in the compact bathroom. There is Keureg coffee maker with coffee, creamers, sugar, etc. in the suite, and our breakfast choices were ready for pick-up in the lobby at 8:30 AM, which we could enjoy at one of the tables on the covered veranda; we took ours with us. It is an easy 1/2 mile walk to the Front Beach with its quaint shops and restaurants. The Crow's Nest requires climbing two narrow flights of stairs, so pack light! I would highly recommend!

We wouldn't change anything. It was perfectly indulgent. We enjoyed our restful stay in Rockport. If/when we return, this inn is the only accommodation that we would consider. I only wish we could have stayed more than just one night.
