View from the balcony is extremely nice! It's a little away from city centre but in the city centre you won't constantly see the full range of the halong bay!

House keeping staff needs to be less intrusive - they kept barging into the room with their spare key at the designated hour we told them to clean. Still it's weird. Also, they need to know a little bit of English otherwise communication is very difficult esp if you want to tell them to change sheets etc. The first four days they did not change our bedsheet because we could not convey it to them :-D

There was absolutely nothing we disliked about our stay. Every aspect of our experience was flawless; there were no negative points. We couldn't find a single thing to complain about during our entire stay. From start to finish, everything was perfect, with no issues whatsoever. Our stay was beyond perfect, leaving us with no room for any dissatisfaction.

Good services. All of our requests and concerns were handled professionally, even the last minute one. We really appreciate your efforts to accommodate our needs! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. One of our rooms has a different window layout offering a panoramic view to the ocean and we really enjoyed it. Nice pool. Stains on the couch in my room. Breakfast was decent, however, for a 5 star hotel, it could be better. It was mostly Vietnamese food, I am Vietnamese but would still prefer some more options for Western food. The juices were washy and flavorless.

Staff were so lovely ,Views from our room were amazing, Food was so good great buffet, This was the best hotel we stayed in visiting Vietnam if I could give more than 10 i would. They even gave us a high tea when we arrived amazing.The manager even gave his card if any problem he would sort.

location seems a bit out but when we went for a moterbike ride we were very happy with location

The hotel and the room were very clean. It was comfortable and we had a lovely stay. The facilities are good. The swimming pool and gym are quite nice. The breakfast option is good, have enough options.

We had a bit unlucky on our bathroom because the shower was broken, so it didn’t work properly. The breakfast is a bit too early. It was from 6 am to 9 am. It would be better if it goes until 10 or 10:30. It feels rushed to have breakfast while you’re on holiday.

Staff extremely helpful and polite. Super easy scooter rental for 200 VND / day which is more than average but therefore you don’t need to leave your passport at another rental office. The room’s view was incredible and has high quality interior. Breakfast has lots of offerings. Pool has a good length for sport swimming, temperature was ok though it is unheated. Gym looks nice. The Hotel‘s restaurant was good, pricey for VN but ok for westerners. Nice beach nearby.

Ha Long city is a bit of a ghost town, but if you walk for 8min you find restaurants or walk 20min for many restaurants.

They offered a free bottle of wine every day I was there. I thought it would be something really really bad like Da Lat wine but it was actually quite good . I googled it and it retailed for around $27 a bottle .

Breakfast needed a little more western choices ,but still ok, I can survive with a coffee machine, fruit eggs, bacon and pasteries As in all of Vietnam please be aware of the ripe off taxi's and the hotel doormen. at some of the hotels that will rec. their friend to take you. You will get ripped off most of the time and they also don't know where they are going. A lot of hotels will tell you in writing or verbally only take Mai lyn or Vinasun taxies. Save yourself a lot of headaches and follow this!!! At the pizza place I recommended below DAVID'S the taxi guy will try to get you to take his frien that is always waiting across the street. I took mai Lyn and the taxi driver pointed to the bad taxi across the street and said Mafia taxi , stay away.

The property is very impressive on entering the foyer, the reception staff are amazing, especially the female receptionist that went above and beyond trying to locate a wheelchair for me after I broke my ankle, she even brought it up to the room personally so thank you. the rooms are very well appointed and extremely clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable. The view from the rooms were stunning and a lovely balcony The breakfasts were great and had everything you could want, room service was excellent Staff could not do enough for you and were very attentive

Nothing at all

We travelled for our honeymoon so we were surprised by their lovely decoration and also a big (if not too big) cake for 2. The room is really clean and comfy, the staff was mega friendly and helpful. The food at their restaurant has pretty generous portion and tastes really good.

You can have the nice view of the ocean but the hotel is actually 2km from the beach so you will see some houses too. I wouldn't say it's bad, but just in case you expect more from the ocean view, keep that in mind. We did love the view from our room a lot tho.

What an amazing hotel! I cannot find 1 single fault! Amazing staff very caring and attentive, beautiful amenities. GREAT value for money. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they delivered a cake in the room without any notice from my end (they just noticed the date on the passport)...which was absolutely delicious...which made our stay even more special!

The only thing I can say is that there's not much to do outside of the hotel due to the area that it is in.
