The size of the room was good and the size of the bed was huge. The surrounding area is quiet, near the interesting Ha Long old city centre.

The breakfast was scanty. It should have more fruit and vegetables. This is my sixth month travelling across Asia and I have to say that I have not found any breakfast included in the hotel room price so good as in Turkey. In my opinion, if you choose to give breakfast in the same price that accommodation at least give it good. For a so touristic place like Ha Long, where you will always have tourists, I think that saving money from the breakfast is not nice and the quality of breakfast should be at the same level than the impression you have when you go into the hotel, it means "luxury". But if you wish attract tourists by a good price then make sure after they won´t be dissapointed because the breakfast.

We liked that the rooms were big and clean, and we had daily room service. Although we stayed during January, when it was cold outside, our room was pretty warm and we did not need to use the air conditioning for heat. It was overall very quiet and we found that the windows to a pretty good job on noise reduction when one of our neighbors did a karaoke night outside for Tet New Year. The staff was great, very helpful when it came to organizing transfers and cruises. It was ok for remote work as well, wi-fi was good, we had a desks in the room and we also used the breakfast area tables when necessary.

Great room, very classy and comfortable. The building is besutiful, nice lobby. The front desk staff is exceptional -- courteous, helpful and friendly. Very good connected restaurant. Location is nice, quiet and night, and close to many interesting spots. Everything one might need is within 10-15 walk. The hotel can arrange a bay trip -- mine was great. They even took care of cabs to and from port. Absolute winner in every respect.

Wifi wasn't bad -- I did watch Super Bowl -- but had a few blips. Could be stronger. Data works as well.

Far from Ha Long cruise harbor. Breakfast was just eggs or nuddle soup and watermelon, plus beverages, but ok it was a low season. Could be a little bit cleaner (dust). In the entire VIP room there was only 2 plugs (only one next to the bed with a lamp plugged in). Only one night table. Also a receptionist tried to lie to us about additional fee for taxi to enter the harbor so we would order a taxi with them (yeah the fee doesn’t exist).

Friendly and helpful staff with booking a Cruise with La Casta. They helped us book the taxi to the harbor as well. They told us it would be 300k vnd but when the driver had dropped us off at the harbor, the driver had asked for 400k vnd. We said that we would call the hotel to confirm and then he lowered the price to 350k vnd. But when we were persistent on calling the hotel, it was then that he said not to call and just pay him 300k vnd. Be careful when you take these unmetered taxis even if they're booked through the hotel.

The staff were super helpful. Everything we asked, they had advice and solutions. They helped us book a great day tour and also the bus. I particularly loved the help of Ms Anne. The rooms were very spacious and excellent value for money. Comfy beds and the cleaners did a great job! I would recommend staying here for a night before your cruise.

We appreciate the friendly and capable team at Halong Boutique Hotel. Our flight was earlier than expected and the front desk team was able to accommodate without a long wait. Attractive building, nice entrance and spacious rooms. The staff were great, welcoming, friendly and helpful. A small problem with water in the bathroom was dealt with immediately. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Breakfast wasn’t very good and distance to the port for cruises was a little far - not enough to put us off recommending the hotel though.

Vegetarian breakfast was the same twice win a row and rather boring (or at least during the two days we spent here). This would be very tiresome in the long run.

The staff were brilliant..Breakfast was great..the room was very well appointed and clean.. the hotel is in a great location the staff were so helpful and friendly we will definately stay here on our next trip to Ha long
