The rooms are really nice and comfortable. The staff is amazing, they always try to help you and assist you. The marina is only a few minutes walking but the hotel offers a private transfer for free to it. It’s a little bit far from Halong City but the area is much nicer and quiet in my opinion.

They charge you for using the steam room or the jacuzzi if you want to use them, which I think it’s unfair since in all the hotels I’ve been around the world they don’t charge you for it.

The staff were so kind and cheerful, we felt absolutely spoilt :-) the room was very spacious, and clean, and has very good AC through vents rather than the hanging ones that blow right in your face. the bed was so comfy and the street so quiet that, for the first time in Vietnam, we slept through the night — we were very thankful for that after noisy Hanoi. The outside area is absolutely beautiful with all the colorful lanterns etc. This hotel seems to try to reduce plastic waste, which we thought was great because every other hotel kept bombarding us with mini bottles of water. Here, it comes in a disinfected glass bottle! 👍🏻 they offered free bikes to explore the (seemingly empty) island before we went on the cruise the next day — they also offer a free shuttle to the beach and docks, so that you don’t need to walk there with your luggage. we were very happy with our decision to have an extra night here before our cruise because everything was so relaxed; would come back anytime. PS: breakfast was nice too; both Vietnamese and European options!

Spacious, clean and comfortable room with good air conditioning and broadband. Excellent breakfast buffet with huge choice. Room was excellent value for money. Good restaurant serving most of the day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice spa - sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Walking distance to Cat Ba ferry. Very nice beach and pool accessed by free shuttle.

Limited selection of restaurants nearby. Entry to spa was not included in room price. Resort is still very much under development and felt rather dead at times (in contrast to the liveliness of Cat Ba).

It's a really nice hotel with very pleasant, courteous and helpful staff. The room and bathroom were both a good size with a cool, classy feel to them. We enjoyed the breakfast and the location was good, right next to the port for our Halong Bay cruise. Big shout out to Paradise Suites for having a water fountain in the lobby, I think this is the first hotel we've stayed in on our trip where you can refill your empty bottles - good work, if we can cut down on plastic bottles perhaps we can stop too many more ending up in the bay. Well done Paradise Suites!

It could get very noisy in the public areas, we were there at the height of Vietnamese school holidays, so lots of screaming kids...not very relaxing! I have to take issue with the description on Booking.com, one of the main reasons we booked the hotel was because of the advertised private beach and pool, as far as I'm aware, there's no mention of these being a mile from the main hotel - this needs to be made clearer...otherwise we had a very pleasant stay.

INCREDIBLE: I planned this as a moments break for us during our busy travel schedule and it was amazing. It was exceptional in every way, including cost. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. Staff, rooms, beds, facilities, dinner and breakfast were all 4 star+. The hotel is in the Ha Long harbour, away from the city of Ha Long, and September is not high season, so there was no one around, no one using the beautiful infinity pool or the private hotel beach, and no one trying to sell us stuff as we wandered (exactly the break I needed). Next time I will come for a longer stay as this was lush.

Service was great as the staff were all very helpful. The front staff helped us book a tour of Halong and the head female staff (manager) in the dining was very professional. The meals were fantastic. Rooms were very comfortable.

The swimming pool was at a location quite a bit away from the hotel we were in though there was a free shuttle service. When you look at the booking site, they show the pool and so I expected that to be where we were. We ended up not using it due to the location. The room view could have been better but where we were situated, it couldn't be helped I guess.

I liked the staff, on the day of arrival we were met by Jan, he told us about the island, provided us with a map of the island and a program of parks and entertainment on the island. said that we can take bicycles and towels for the beach. we liked the pool and the private beach (but on the second day after the storm the beach was in the trash). it is very convenient to go to the beach by electric car or bicycles. breakfasts and dinners were good, especially the personalized dinner

there is no balcony in the room, the view from the room is not picturesque, on the opposite building

The staff in this hotel are the best I have ever dealt with, all very professional and really friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet and the beds are really comfortable. We had spa treatments which were lovely, we also used the sauna and steam room which were good. Also the hotel provides a shuttle service to the pool or ferry terminal which was helpful. The food was excellent and service in the restaurant was brilliant. All staff speak really good English. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a couple of nights if you are visiting Halong, we booked a day cruise through the hotel which was absolutely brilliant, really good value.

We stayed for 5 nights so it would've been nice to have a different menu, or at least some specials, the food is excellent but the vegetarian options are quite limited. The hotel pool and beach are quite a walk from the hotel, you can get a free shuttle or borrow bikes though, the pool was really cold and the bar wasn't open although we ordered some drinks which were quickly delivered. The beach is dirty, pollution seems to be a real issue in Halong bay generally, the sea is full of litter and the hotel beach was pretty bad, also we were told by other guests not to swim in the sea as you sink in the sand and can't get out, from walking near the shore this seemed to be a problem.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful, amazing! Best team we have experienced in 3 weeks in Vietnam. They put a great effort to congratulate us on our honeymoon and help with all the questions ❤️ Rooms are big, nice and very clean. Great breakfast. Great location before/after the cruise.

Swimming pool and beach is located around 1,5km away from the hotel. They take you there and back with an electric car which is a nice ride but you need to plan your time a bit.

Really comfortable rooms, fantastic friendly staff, and quality of food at breakfast and dinner was really good. Staff were really efficient and attentive and every request was delivered quickly and with a smile. Should the weather gods be smiling upon you, there is a nice pool area and beach at Paradise Bay that you get to via the electric carts that run from reception.

Ha Long town is quiet, and Tuan Chau island is even more quiet! It’s a good location for getting a boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay, but otherwise it’s a bit of a ghost town. Lots of development has taken place, but it’s still waiting for the world to discover it!
