Hotel Della Conciliazione

Firstly the location of this hotel is perfect. We were within walking distance from the main attractions in Rome or a short bus/train ride. The hotel is also set on a pedestrian cobbled road with lots of good restaurants. All the staff were very friendly, and always on hand to answer questions. As we arrived early we were able to leave our bags at the hotel to make the most of our first full day in Rome. The room it’s self was modern and clean, had lots of extras like a TV, coffee machine and mini fridge. We had a spacious bathroom with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. We also had a nice surprise of being with a room with a terrace. Lastly we went for breakfast which was a full of continental options and some cooked options, all was very nice and a good start to the day.

We arrived early at the hotel and our room was ready to check in ,we were so pleased as we had a very early start travelling.The Hotel is in a Fantastic location for the Vatican City, great restaurants and public transport to other attractions.We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it .

The staff (at the reception but also in the breakfast room) is absolutely adorable!!! Very friendly, very kind, but also and especially very professional and efficient. They all speak English very well and even several other languages. Very attentive people who take the time to advise us (a gentleman at the reception even found us tickets to visit the Colosseum when I had not managed to book any before leaving). The room was comfortable and well appointed for us traveling as a family. The cleaning is well done and neat. The products provided and the towels in sufficient quantity and of good quality. The street in which the hotel is located is very cute and it is really close to the Vatican! A very good restaurant that we recommend just down the hotel on the right (with nice personnel too) called "Borgosteria".

The comfort of the beds could be optimized but it is not dramatic and the bathtub in the room was a bit old. The breakfast room is cute, but a bit small and the tables are quickly full in case of affluence.

Location! Location! Location! The hotel was a very short walk to the Vatican!! Exceptional location. Many good restaurants within a short walk. Hotel staff were very friendly and professional! They went out of their way to help us explore Rome. Breakfast was included which is a bonus! Clean and welcoming.

My only disappointment was the size of the bathroom. The shower was very small/tight. Also the toilet and sink were so close together that you couldn’t sit straight on the toilet. There was a bidet but I feel it would better serve the room to remove the bidet and have more room for the toilet. There was no storage space in the bathroom. And only one hook for wet towels.

This hotel is lovely and in a great area just 5 mins from Vatican city. The hotel is on a lovely quaint street with plenty of nice restaurants and little shops .There is a lovely atmosphere in this hotel and its surroundings.We had a very enjoyable stay here and would recommend this hotel. Breakfast is good with a good selection and the bar and little outside garden are lovely 😍.Overall a good stay

The lift was out of order when we arrived - they mentioned it would be fixed but we were there foir 3 days and still not back in service by the time we checked out.. the room was quite small for 3 people - 2 adults and my teenage daughter.

location so close to Vatican and St. Peter’s on a street with many restaurants. Front desk kept our luggage during the day and our bags were waiting in our room by the time we returned to the hotel after dinner.

the triple room was tight but manageable.

We chose the hotel primarily for its proximity to the Vatican as we arrived at the start of Holy Week and stayed for a total of 10 nights. The location allowed us to easily attend all the major activities conducted at St. Peter's Square and Basilica and be back at the hotel should we need to rest. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating with our requests and made us feel at home. We will definitely book again with Hotel Della Conciliazione on future visits to Rome.

A bit far from the nearest Metro station and Rome's must visit cultural sites (except for the Castel Sant'Angelo) but nothing a cab or Uber can't handle. During our stay, the lift was not working on a number of days. Good that this did not happen when we needed to move our luggage at arrival and departure. The hotel is only four floors but it would be a challenge for some guests. Hope the management is able to address this.

The location was perfect!!! I was little worried about my mom who has some challenges with walking, but the bus stop “via Pia” was super close. Bus n 40 goes to piazza Venezia, on your way back you have to get out on the bus stop “Sassia Santo Spirito” then you can walk to the hotel 7 min top, buy a daily or a week card for the public transportation at Piazza Venezia! The St. Peter’s square and church was 5 min top walking distance! The stuff was fantastic and super helpful. Ricardo from the waiters’ team was outstanding. He made us every day espresso from the original espresso coffee machine, I wanted to mention ,he wasn’t obligated to do this, but he gave us a fantastic customer service! He recommended a couple of great restaurants with fantastic pasta, he deserves a promotion! The breakfast was fantastic, so many choices and delicious! We really enjoyed the location, it was clean,organized, the quietness of the room was great! It was took care of housekeepers every day and so nicely! Definitely we will be back:) !

I would say the bathroom was big enough for me, but the shower cabin was a little bit small. The sink was a little bit clogged , but they fixed it and the shower head was little bit too loose as well. Despite those small things, it was a great stay!

Hotel Della Conciliazione exceeded my expectations. Eco friendly, customer-driven, rooms are modern and immaculate, superb service and an array of cuisine options and restaurants out the front of Hotel along the pebble stone walkway. Dry Cleaning services went above and beyond - incredible experience. Hotel Staff are very polite, warm and welcoming. Breakfast Staff and food are exceptional, especially the expresso. Location I felt safe and convenient for getting around on foot to places, located east wing off Vatican City. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Della Conciliazione. Thank you to all Hotel Staff and Management that made my stay in Rome unforgettable.

Very spacious and well maintained rooms. Staff are very pleasing and helpful and I would like to make a special mention about Chiara, Marco and Alessandro. Walkable distance to the Vatican city. Plenty of good restaurants serving mostly local food, are close by.

We had made advance booking to the various tourist destinations. Hence no hazzle. Though all websites may notify that tickets are sold out for a particular date, invariably one can still manage to get tickets at the location and that too at a price lower that the listed price. Unable to understand how this system works. Visitors to Rome can keep this information in mind, while planning their trip, particularly if they are not able to to do advance booking to all the tourist destinations. Visitors should be mentally prepared to cover approximately about 10 kms by walk, on days they plan their sight seeing
