Stanza Hotel

The location was excellent, at the heart of La Roma where you could walk every where and the street was full of pubs and restaurants. The room was comfy although we thought the bed was exceptionally small for two people. If you are travelling as a couple you might want to get the king size room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did not get the breakfast included option as you could get breakfast in a lot of places nearby, however once day we tried the hotel's breakfast and it was really good. Besides from all the options available in the buffet, they can prepare anything you want on demand (such as chilaquiles and scramble eggs with mushrooms). The WiFi was so good we were able to stream Netflix with no issues. Perhaps the room could have been a bit bigger, but that's asking too much. Also they cleaned the room every day.

The size of the bed was smaller than we thought.

All the staff was wonderful & friendly. The hotel was very clean. Great location & neighborhood. The restaurant is ok. But we only had one meal there. A lot of good restaurants in this area. And the value is great also. We were there to explore the city. We really were in the room basically to sleep. I do wish they had some channels on the TV in English. The only real negative was that it took a long time for hot water to reach the sink. Turn on the shower & that helps.

There was not anything we did not like. In my previous remarks I pointed out the 2 things that could be better.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had many options. Omelet station, fruit, cereal, breads, and brunch offerings that I didn't try because I have to eat gluten free. Omelet,fruit and coffee were perfect. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was small. So only one person could get ready at a time. Also shower water drains in shower and also into sink floor area so you can't wear socks into the bathroom after someone has showered. This was our first time in Mexico City and we were only staying one night as our final destination was the El Santuario for a wedding so we didn't get to experience the area surrounding the hotel.

It's the perfect place to stay while visiting CDMX for few or many days. Located in the beautiful and safe neighborhood Roma where you can have nice walks. This area is full of restaurants, cafeterias, bars but at the same time is a very quiet and cozy zone. You can find everything close by like ATMs, laundry service, hospital, great escape room, ice cream shops, supermarkets, drugstores, etc. The rooms are big and very clean, super comfortable beds. Amazing and kind service from the whole staff. The ratio price / quality iis just wonderful! We got bottles of water every day. The hotel is located very conveniently to many attractions and places to visit. It was just great. It's highly recommended and definitely we will come back again! We had great time!

The hotel was located in the beautiful Roma area and was also not to far from Condesa. Location. Was just perfect as all the restaurants were nea. Super friendly staff. The room had air-conditioning,a window you could open for fresh hair. It had hot water, hairdryer and gave free bottles of water, room cleaning service every day and we got coffee every morning. We had a lovely view on the lively park

Sometimes the internet didn't work.

1. Great customer service. Before I booked the hotel, I asked some questions and hotel always responded very promptly. 2. The staff is wonderful - from reception to housekeeping. I stayed 10 nights and I enjoyed my entire stay. 3. Initially I was assigned a smoking room (not sure if I specified non-smoking); I only realized that middle of the night. The receptionist promptly assigned me a non-smoking room in a different floor. 4. The location is unbeatable - there are simple taco restaurants to upscale cafes/restaurants within walking distance. 5. The room was spacious, the bed and the pillows were comfortable. 6. The hotel also arranged a PCR test to be done in my room - which was a great convenience.

1. Overall, there isn’t anything I didn’t like. However, I would have appreciated a mini-fridge in the room.

Location is great. It is on a busy main street lined with restaurants, cafes, shops and many other things a tourist would prefer to have in close proximity. Staff was welcoming and freindly. Most of them did speak English. Room was spacious enough. My room was on the 7th floor and I could sleep with no disturbance despite been in a busy street. There is a public space (park) nearby. Getting an uber from here was super easy. Breakfast served at the restaurant is good and worth the money.

Location is fabulous, right next to a park with plenty of people watching opportunities and in close proximity to many great restaurants and shops. I pretty much worked from my hotel room during the day and then went to enjoy the neighborhood at lunchtime and the evening. Restaurant at the ground level is super convenient for breakfast.

Wifi connection that they offer guests was terrible. After talking to reception, they got me on a different network that worked in my part of the hotel. I seriously thought I was going to have to check out because I needed to work during my stay. After getting up and running the second day, I had no problems with the internet. Room was a little dated and small but the AC worked, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable so no major complaints.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good for walking or catching the metro. There were lots of dining options close by and also a ground floor restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable.

My room, which overlooked the Jardin Pushkin, was occasionally noisy at night. There was some confusion in setting up my credit card for laundry and room service, but this was mainly a language barrier issue, I think.

The best feat of this hotel is without second thoughts its location. It is within the Roma neighborhood, which makes it very safe and within reach of many bars, restaurants and exceptional street food within literally less than 10 mins. There is also the Condessa neighbourhood very close which is definitely worth a visit. Both 100% safe to walk at night (in the big streets that have lights and people that is, where we mostly remained). The staff were nice and very courteous, and the room was taken care of on a daily basis. The hotel also gives a lot of tour package options with a tour agency. We did not do any as we had already planned ours, but one of them is completely free (City walking tour) and the other ones were came at the normal package prices you find in Viator, GetYourGuide etc. The room was big and quite clean.

The only minor issue we had was with the sound, as our room was facing the park which had a bit of street noise during the night.
