Hotel Royal Reforma

The rooms are spacious, the staff attentive and the view of the PH is wonderful, the location is very good, it is located in the heart of Zona Rosa and you can walk to Reforma, Insurgentes, etc... There is a lot of bars, shops and restaurants nearby.

Needs remodeling, the wifi not the best and not even a bottle of water in the room.

The rooms are clean and you find everything what you need there. Beds are comfortable and clean, the view is nice and the rooms are quiet (we had the 13th floor). Staff is very nice and professional. We really liked the rooftop which is great for both work and relax! Location is good too. The hotel is not brand new but it's definitely great for the price. Recommended.

The wifi could be little better but it was good enough for a little bit of work or watching movies. Breakfast could be little more modern so we chose to skip it and eat somewhere else. Still - I'd definitely come back.

Check-in was great! I arrived at 1am due to flight delay and the two staff at the reception desk were very welcoming. I was upgraded to a nicer room after the first room I was given had a piece of the ceiling tile that had fallen. The new room I was given was very spacious and had a nice view. The bathroom was also a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop was a highlight for me. The bartender Jorge was very friendly and even recommended a meal from the hotel menu one evening that was very good. I returned almost every day to the rooftop to say hi and enjoy the view. The hotel location was perfect for walking and exploring.

I had only one issue my entire stay: on my last night as I was packing, the person in the room next door tried to enter my room using the shared door that connected our rooms. Thankfully for me, it was locked from both sides. I went to ask the front desk to please send someone upstairs and let this person know that the door was not to be opened. I'm not sure if they sent someone since no one followed up with me. I left before sunrise the next day and did not have any further issues other than not sleeping well due to safety concerns. I would think they would've knocked on my door after speaking with this person ( if they even addressed this) to let me know they had spoken with the person. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel Royal is perfectly located, with great city views and nice, large rooms. The staff is very helpful, and with the sauna, pool and fitness, there are plenty facilities. Fum bonus; they have ice and coolers available at every level, if you would like to cool something (like a bottle).

The hotel feels a bit dated, as if it was very fancy in the 1990s, but hasn't been greatly maintained since then. The cleanliness could also be a little bit better. This is noticeable in the rooms and e.g. in the pool.

The location was in the middle of the Zona Rosa...a few meters from a big choice of restaurants clubs bars and enterteinments. Comfortable room with all usual facilities you can expect from a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool with open air bar on the top of the building was a very nice surprise...a must to relax yourself for a while drinking a fresh fruit cocktail. A very cosy hotel in the right place in Mexico City.

There was a part of the window that was not possible to close...so during the night it was a little bit cold inside the room..and noisy by the the busy road.

The rooftop and room were amazing

One female worker of the place didn't let me hop in the elevator with her. She was alone, I requested the elevator to go down, she told me she was going up and told me to request another when hers went away (the elevator blinking light clearly indicating it was going down). Upon her insisting that i should not get in the elevator, I let it go and saw from the glass side how it went down. Really disrespectful and callous woman.

Good location, decent rooms although a little tired. Great roof terrace. Generally comfortable place to stay for a few days. Staff are helpful and generally multilingual. Ask for a high up room and the views are excellent. View from the gym is great.

Rooms would benefit from addition of fridges and tea/coffee making facilities. Would benefit from a bit of refurbishment generally but for the price it's good. Gym could do with some exercise mats.

Spacious room. Excellent service. Very clean. Updated elevators. Good city views from the room on and the rooftop. Excellent breakfast.

The location area “Zona Rosa “ is not family oriented. At night looks dangerous and it is smelly. There are a lot of open sex shops and gay shops.

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times and we plan to make it our Mexico City host hotel for our annual visit. My favorite thing about this hotel is that it is super safe. There is always about 10-20 policemen in the area, Also, it is walking distance to many bars, restaurants and mini marts. My teen daughter and I always feel so safe in this area.

Great location and friendly staff!

There could be a bit of maintenance done to make it a really nice room! Needed a bit of Paint in places and new carpet.
