Gülhanepark Hotel & Spa

really nice location - in the Center of everything, includes SPA area. very convenient to reach key touristic areas, Topkapi palace just 10 min walk away most of the staff was helpful special thank you to Mevlut for a recommendation of a terrific restaurant and his help and assistance during our stay!

the noise - the walls are very thin and you could hear everything that was happening in another rooms and corridor the room for three was very tiny, there was no table available the spa area was good however there was no resting area afterwards to drink tea (which was not even offered) and relax after the hammam. after the massage the body was fully covered in oil - there was no bathrobes available so had to wear clothes on the oily body and take a shower after hammam … one of the reception person was trying to charge us more for the touristic attractions even though the price was agreed beforehand the breakfast was not special, very limited variety of food

All staff specially zaki was perfect to deal with customer appreciate his attitude

Room was tooo much small I have kid and bed it was for baby by month only even for bags no space am sprise about the room because it’s expensive and my expectation it was very high

In the same street as the gardens of the Topkapi palace, walking distance from all the major sites as the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Near to all kind of shops and restaurants. The personal of the hotel are very kind, trustworthy and helpful. They even arranged the transfer back and forth to the airport for us at a reasonable price.

The WiFi wasn’t working so well and the breakfast is to European standards mediocre. (we didn’t care about the WiFi, we bought a sim card with data for our cellphone from Turkcell that worked fine everywhere)

We arrived at 3.00 am from the airport, at our arrival Ahmet offered us typical turkish tea which we appreciated a lot. The position is great. We have done everything by walking: 10 minutes from Ayasofya. 15 minutes from the Büyük Bazar, 25 minutes from Galata Tower, 5 minutes from the Bosphorus. Near the hotel there is the Gülhane Park, an amazing big park, full of trees, flowers. The hotel is located in a small street, full of great little restaurants, full of typical turkish shops. The room was clean the bathroom was big. The staff is very kind and helpfull. The hotel is very clean.

We asked as proposed by booking a room with balcony and city view. But there wasn't any balcony neither city view. The breakfast was very poor.

This hotel has it all! Located in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable - a special shoutout to the receptionists Ahmet, Zeki, and Taner, and the supporting staff Aziz and Sehmuz. The breakfast is delicious, with plenty of healthy options, including salads and vegetables. And if you're looking for a nice meal, the rooftop restaurant won't disappoint. Although the weather was cold during my stay, the terrace looked inviting. Lastly, the ladies at the Spa were amazing, waiting until midnight for us after a late dinner and travel back to the hotel. A wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Breakfast wasnt that good and the bed sheets had stains, maybe they should use bleach And no proper blankets, just bed sheet for blanket

1) Location. It’s right behind Gülhane park. 2) Staff. They are ready to help you. Room No 401 is the best. You can see both the Bosphorus and Gülhane park.

1) Breakfast. They served absolutely the same food for the entire of our stay (1 week). 3 times we had breakfast outside of our hotel, there is nice cafe at Gülhane park. 2) Towels had some orange spots on them. 3) Water temperature. It’s either too cold or too hot. It takes approx 5-6 mins to find the middle. 4) Terrace cafe wasn’t working, tables were dirty. 5) Windows in our room were dirty.

The people in the front desk, especially Mr Zaki and Gohkan and the two lovely young girls that serve the breakfast 😀 l will definitely come back again to Istanbul inshaalah and stay at the hotel

The breakfast was pretty much the same every day, the restaurant on the roof was rather too pricey .and we were not sure if we could sit on the roof terrace
