Very friendly efficient staff. Hotel & hotel room welcoming, clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious and the carpark was spacious... they were both included in the price! Great location, City centre near by. We both enjoyed our stay.

The plates used for breakfast were way too small and I hate going up twice! I can totally understand why the hotel use this size though, as it cuts down on waste. The good thing is... it all tasted absolutely lovely & you can go back up to refill x

Location for Arboretum, Clean Hotel and Room, Staff very Helpful, Great Breakfast lovely Food. Restaurant and Pub 5mins Away. We all Had a Very Pleasant Stay, and My Dog was Welcomed Too .

ITS not what I didn't like it was just a Observation at Breakfast The Table and Seating Area Could have been Better, only because I had a Dog, We Like to Sit at a Table Not on a high Stool Breakfast Bar or Comfy Chair bending down on a low table, otherwise everything else was Fine.

A warm welcome at the front desk which is always a good start. Car parking is spacious. The room and decor is excellent for the hotel class and we were amazed at how clean the room's were, spotless even. Not the biggest room spaces but it definitely makes up in cleanliness. Breakfast was standard with regular top ups of food.

The location isn't the best, although there is other shops nearby. I wasn't aware of the £3 surcharge for the car park.

This was one of the cleanest and friendliest hotels we have stayed in in a while we travelled 5hours from Scotland with 6kids including 2 6yr olds to spend a few days at alton towers theme park we ddnt arrive at the hotel until 8pm at night after our first full day at the park and as u can imagine all the kids were exhausted 🙄 front desk was amazing very fast and friendly check in the girl couldn't have done anymore (I think she could tell i was running out of patience 🤣) but thanks to staff and there attitude and speed all 6 of our kids were showered and sound asleep for 9pm 😌 breakfast was really good and staff were amazing not once was anything empty they were quick and were cleaning discreetly constantly very very impressed and will 100% be back thank you guys keep up the hard work 💪👏😘

Staff friendly. Clean throughout hotel. Breakfast on the good side had fresh fruit (bad side see comments on what I didn't like).

Breakfast was not good! For fried bacon there was more fat than meat. Sausages only cooked on 1 side. No other items for normal English fry. Coffee machine worst I had! Bathroom staining in sink and wc. For a hotel that makes a point of its recent revamp, simply chemical cleaning would have prevented the staining

Hotel was very clean, both in the rooms and the general areas. Staff were friendly, polite and , apart from serving breakfast, very efficient. Main bed comfortable. Great price for the room. Free wifi, though i didnt need it, is a great addition.

The sofa bed- whilst the normal bed was very comfortable, the sofa bed was very hard and those sharing it didnt sleep well at all. At breakfast, portions were very small for adults. Staff had to be reminded 4 times of what was requested at the staffed buffet. They appeared a little flustered, Perhaps not enough staff actually serving food. Parking should be free.

Breakfast - excellent food and choice with good service by staff continually clearing, cleaning and replenishing. Room very good, comfy, clean, well equipped and quiet. Complimentary tea, coffee and water in reception area also appreciated!

The air con fan in the room was noisy and not really controllable. We couldn’t sleep with it on and noise from the nearby road was too loud to have the window open. As the night was cool this didn’t matter (so we didn’t mention it to the staff) but in hotter weather it would be a problem. It was the only downside of our stay though - otherwise everything excellent.

It was very clean, staff very friendly, room was nice although a little small.

Breakfast area was too small for the amount of people there, could be a bigger selection also the sausage and bacon etc. To be topped up more/quicker, a couple of times I went up to get something to eat and the bowls were empty. Also the juice - orange and apple were horrible, as though they had been watered down.

Friendly staff. Check in very easy. Room was immaculate & very clean. Tv & coffee facilities good. Shower worked well with nice hot water, unlike some hotels where it’s only warm! Breakfast pleasant with good choice & variety. Overall it was good for the price we paid.

The only negatives I have is that the room was so hot. Unbearable.. me, my husband & eldest daughter woke up through the night boiling hot. The room was so stuffy, the air con didn’t work very well and the window only opened a few inches so let no breeze in. I dread to think how hot it would be in there through the summer on a hot day! Our bed was a little hard too.

Lovely clean room and bathroom, great breakfast, quiet location. Staff all very friendly and always to hand. Some food served 24hrs and was reasonably priced. Bed was HUGE (I think it was 2 put together) and pretty comfy. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Shower was a bit feeble but I guess they are saving energy by not having full powered spray. It served a purpose so all good.
