Very helpful lady found us secure bike storage in hotel. Nice loch views, nice bathroom and clean comfortable beds.

Quite annoying creaking noise from next room, walls must be quite thin. No biscuits with the tea/coffee. Long walk into town.

All the staff we interacted with were friendly and offered great advice for travel. The view from our room and the hotel of the lake was absolutely amazing. This hotel is located very close to Ben Nevis and we were able to travel to Glenfinnan quite easily. Great breakfast.

The restaurant service could've been improved quite a bit. We had to wait a long time for dinner despite booking in advance. We arrived in good time before the breakfast closing time, but many breakfast items were missing by the time we arrived and the coffee was cold (this was heated up by the wait staff as soon as we informed them, though).

Staff were amazing. We had just walked the West Highland Way and were very weary travellers. We looked disheveled having not showered in a week and were damp from walking in the rain. The staff did not bat an eyelid and we were welcomed and shown to our room. The next morning when our tired feet did not want to walk in the rain to the bus stop to get back into Fort William to get our bus back to Glasgow the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got a taxi into town. The breakfast was also amazing. My only complaint was the room was quite warm being on the top floor in summer and the open window was not enough to cool it down even though it was cool and wet outside the night we were there. Other wise the facilities were great, beds comfortable, food great and service that I could not fault.

When we arrived at the hotel the staff in reception could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Likewise in the dining room and bar their help was brilliant. My wife used her wheelchair and they helped us whenever they could, especially at reception which included steps from front door, a point you may wish to improve upon.

The staff were all brilliant, informative and helpful. The only thing we could find fault with was that a tour coach from south of the border didn't apparently know that rules re social distancing are different in Scotland. Their courier was the worst offender and seemed to walk about the place with her face-mask in her hand. As we have been shielding since my wife's surgery we found this off-putting. No fault of your staff who did try to observe the rules to keep us all safe.

Location perfect. Car parking. Flexibility of opting to have breakfast, breakfast & dinner or not. Breakfast; good choice, food was hot and not lukewarm. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. My friend and I (both of us are deaf) are members of a Deaf Outdoors Activities group and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Would be helpful to see a statement that VAT to be added and the rate, so that final cost can be worked out before proceeding to booking. E g. Price before was £150 which was really good considering it's the tourist season. Then VAT was added at very last stage, bumping it up to £180, wee bit annoying. Total price to be fair was reasonable since it's the tourist season, just an unexpected additional cost.

The food at breakfast and dinner was very very good. Plenty of choice at both and very helpful and pleasant staff who had excellent memories as my friend was gluten free and they remembered this every meal time. the room was clean and tidy including the bathroom and the water was hot at all times which was great.

During the day time we thought there would be coffee available etc but the bar seemed closed. The coffee machine was apparently out of order for two days. I dont drink alcohol so was disappointed that I couldn't get a latte. The bed wasnt entirely comfortable but then you are used to your own bed at home. For me the pillows were quite hard when you put your head on them. Room cost a bit pricey.

Bit of attention needed to the furnishings, had to re hang the curtain pelmet which was hanging off. Voile screen a bit grubby needs cleaned of replaced. small room which was fine but a brighter light could make it more welcoming. room was clean and functional. Seasonal Demand probably pushed the value of the room a bit higher than made it good value but that extra revenue could go a lot further in making the room welcoming. This is my business so I see the comparisons in the market place every day. I would say that the staff quality exceed the room value. So you have the hard bit sorted, rooms can be fixed. The property is situated a bit off the city centre (about 45 minutes walk) but the walk is worth it as you go by the coast and you can enjoy the views. I was not expecting much going in as it is better to be surprised than disappointed. The room was not the biggest on the market but served its purpose for the stay. Breakfast was self served for most of our stay and you could have picked whatever you liked.

The en-suite bathroom was a bit smaller than I thought would be, for some people it might be challenging. Also do not know if property offers larger bathrooms. There also was no outlet around the bed and basically only one outlet in the room was usable.
