very clean through out the guest house and where it was from the shops

noone there to greet us got a message to say there would be an envelope inside the hall with my keys in it. bathroom was along the hall from our room walking by 2 rooms. it was very smelly from the plug holes. thought on suite meant bathroom in your room. no free parking had to park along the road in pay and display. asked if we could get breakfast there they didnt do breakfast but we could go to a hotel further down the road if we booked a table. the sign outside there guest house says bed and breakfast free parking and free wifi. there was a sign at the bottom of the stairs to say where to drop your keys off when leaving. no one was around but we could message them or ring the doorbell then they would come out.

Lovely warm, comfortable stay in a beautiful cosy bed after a long day exploring!! Really clean room which is so important. Wee touches such as biscuits and coffee really appreciated. Would recommend! Only one thing i would say, is breakfast was very slightly lacking. Cooked brekkie but no beans or yoghurt as written on the breakfast sheet. However veggie sausage provided at our request which was good!!

location is great. owner gave us the option if we want a room in the front over looking the street or at the back of the block. we had great experience and look forward to stay there again. these is a free car park on a two minute walk from the hotel. ( changes depend upon the time of the year you visit) just a minor thing, it will be great to have a small table in the room.

Having stayed in lots of places in Oban, I really appreciated that the economy on this was a small room rather than a tatty room. Everything was in good condition and it was very cosy inside. The owner let us check-in early which was unexpected but very appreciated. The shower was powerful and warm.

Personally we liked everything. However please bear in mind that the room is very small so if you are intending to stay inside a lot, this might not be the perfect place for you.

the room had everything I needed. A very comfortable bed, nice fluffy towels in the en suite toilet/ shower room. Complementary toiletries. Hairdryer. Clothes rail and hangers. Kettle and tea/coffee etc. Television. Plenty sockets and one next to bed to charge phone and could use as alarm clock. Great location. Handy for pubs, restaurants, shops, the marina. Short walk to bus and train stations. No parking available at B&B, but well aware of parking restrictions in Oban (it's not easy to find parking here for overnight or several days). Luckily the train station car park is only £3 a day or the price of a train ticket. There is also parking at the Columba Hotel North Pier car park, approx £9 per day

Couldn't find fault. Guest house is clean, comfortable, great location and very good value for money

I have to give this property a plain 10 out of 10. Perfect location for Oban, closed to the downtown, good room and bath and above all, excellent host. We had to wait at the Glasgow Airport for our suitcases until midnight, which caused us to arrive at the hotel middle in the night. The property´s owner arranged all to adapt to this inconvenient and allow us access our rooms at 3 a.m. Very appreciated.

The owner met me at the door and was most helpful in explaining what was in the immediate vacinity. Guest house very clean and exactly what I expected.

Not really a case of what i didn't like, more a case of what i would have liked. Would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but the owner explained why this not available. What with post Covid and closed season I fully understand the explanation. He pointed me in the direction of where I could get breakfast within a short walk.

The room was clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. Good facilities within the room.

We had actually booked an en-suite room, but the bathroom for the bedroom we were given was across the hallway from the room. We didn't question this at the time as we thought we might have made an error in our booking and we were only staying for the one night, so to be fair to the owner, we didn't give them an opportunity to rectify this.

Very friendly welcome, helped with bag to room. House keeping available on request, access easy and close to all amenities in the town. Room was very clean and the guest house appeared to have brand new carpet throughout which helped keep down noise. Shower had good pressure.

Breakfast wasn't available in low season, we were able to get 'walk-in' breakfast at the Great Western Hotel so it wasn't a major problem.

If you want: a clean, albeit small hotel room (we are never in the room much anyways so does it matter?!), VERY central location walkable to the city center of Oban, friendly staff (we never had breakfast there, though), easy check-in and out, parking available nearby although not on property... this is a great option in Oban! We had a room with a private but unattached bathroom which worked fine for my husband and I but would probably not work for children.
