The hosts are both very friendly, I can only recommend this guesthouse. Very clean, the bed was really comfortable. I had a single room so not so much space (I didn't need it so no problem there). My friends stayed in a double room under the roof and were really happy there, very friendly and airy room with more space. Even if we received some earplugs I hadn't any problem with the traffic noise (my room was on the street and I'm a light sleeper) after 10 p.m. and before 6 a.m. it's really quiet. Breakfast very good, freshly cooked (you have to fill the form the evening before).

The shower had a lot of pressure so a bit uncomfortable. Double room didn't have this shower so maybe it was only this single room.

It was attractive from the outside and well kept. The entrance was bright and airy. The hall was clean and smelled fresh. Our room was in the top floor and upon entry was bright and airy and the windows were open. The only room was well equipped however there was only one bedside lamp. I thought though the touches such as biscuits with tea and coffee facilities and the sanitary aids were great. I would recommend and return. Definitely value for money. Thank you

The DunMoore guest house is a brilliant little place to say 2 minutes walk away from the centre of Oban. The rooms were really comfy with clean bathrooms and good showers. The check-in was contactless and smooth, with a key waiting for us in the lobby and good communication prior to this. The main door is locked out of hours, so the whole property feels safe and secure. Wifi worked well, and tea, coffee and biscuits were available in the rooms. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked like there were a lot of options. Only a short walk before you come across plenty of places to eat (fast food and sit-in) and some charming Scottish pubs (The Tartan Tavern and Oban Inn are ones to watch out for!). We would definitely consider staying again during another visit to Oban.

There was no parking available at the property (this was made clear in the advert), but there is some free parking 100m up the road or so. We left the car there for two nights and had no problems.

All the taps worked, hot water worked, warm in the evenings, quiet at night, perfect location, competitively priced, beds were very comfy, TV worked, miniature fridge worked, host responds quickly to messages, wifi signal is good and all lights worked. I don't know whether it's the bed base, mattress or duvet but we both slept brilliantly on those beds, and we really needed it as we were very tired. Me and my son stayed for two nights and we'd definitely stay there again and had a lovely time in Oban.

Honestly can't think of anything, we had everything we needed.

Location was great, it was close to the sea and ferry terminal.

We had a problem with the shower in our double room, it was scalding hot and we couldn’t regulate or turn it off. We asked for assistance from the owner and she managed to get it turned off. As my daughter had the single room next to ours I went to use her shower and the same happened we couldn’t regulate the shower temp it was scalding hot we could turn it off though. Everything else was great.

Breakfast excellent, and Owners warm, friendly and very welcoming. The Guest House is within walking distance to Town centre. This is a return visit here for me, and would highly recommend to anyone. A good selection of food, and my Partner loved the Decent Coffee:) A good choice for families to stay. I have been previously with my 3 Grandchildren, and they loved it. Owner are down to earth genuinely nice people, and make you feel so welcome.

The accommodation place was very easy to find, got a warm welcome from the owner, everything was clearly explained, my questions answered. The room was small but for a sleep only big enough. Excellent Scottish breakfast, tasty, professionally served and bigger than expected. My stay in this Guest House was a pleasure. Got offer for private parking of my motorbike. Did not accept as there was a car parking nearby.

There is nothing to say, my stay was excellent.

Smelled lovely and fresh, Bed was so comfortable and warm, between the houses you do get a bit of the lovely view. Great location for amenities, farmfoods, chip shop and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Disappointed to find only 1 double bed, i booked 2 double beds, as was away with my granddaughter. Fan in bathroom was very noisy, we were in the accommodation next door, which has a different name on it. Joyce was going to rectify this mistake on booking. Com, as there are No rooms with 2 Double beds!! Also note- there are stairs to room we recieved and stairs next door down to basement where you go for breakfast.

The rooms were a great size very clean and comfy couldn’t fault anything i would deffo stay here again

I love the fact there that it’s only 10 min walk to centre off oban everything you need right on your doorstep . You can also walk along the along the sea front which is beautiful . So great location for everything . The owners are lovely and very helpful

Great location, really friendly owners and brilliant communication - kindly taking in a lost bag that was couriered by the airline before we arrived and giving us tips for day trips etc.

The mattress (single room) needs replacing. Breakfast was too early for us at 7 to 8 a.m. - a bit stressful for us having to get up so early on holiday.
