Friendly, chatty hostess and manager, offer to store bicycles in utility room, clean and modern ambience, tray for muddy boots, USB charging sockets by the bedside, location near Chilterns hiking trails.

Room was a bit compact for two people. Breakfast was very nice but the suggestion that a flat white from the coffee machine (as opposed to filter coffee from a pot) would cost extra was a bit odd. Other guests have complained that there is no place to have dinner in the village but a little prep on google maps would have made that plain; besides, a good walk is a healthy thing to do before and after dinner, or else, there is a good local bus connection to Thame.

We use this superb B&B when staying in the area for cricket and cricket club events. The rooms are awesome. Designed beautifully, extremely clean and well appointed. The breakfast has a good choice of cerise, pastries and freshly cooked (to order) hot food. The team are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Great Valarie for money and a great find!

This is a first world issue but on hot summer evening, air conditioning would be a huge bonus, but it doesn’t really matter.

Parking was conveniently right outside. The room was spacious and included everything we needed. The breakfast choice was the largest we have ever encountered. Something to look forward to each morning. The Cherry Tree is in a pretty part of the Chilterns and central to so many interesting places. We were there for 8 lovely days .

Spotlessly clean, hot water, nice breakfast. Bed not overly comfortable. Room was a bit small for a double bed, no desk or seat so not ideal for any laptop work.

Realised after checkout that the £108 rate was not a vat registered amount so whilst as business expenses, vat is reclaimed, in this case the cost was the full amount so made it more expensive than other options. Lovely place, but kore suited to leisure than business travellers

The property has been designed and updated to a high standard and is almost boutique in appearance. Breakfast was fresh and much like the décor, well presented. All in all a very pleasant and unexpected experience.

Check in after 3pm was contactless which was absolutely fine as provided directions were clear. Guidance was to use designated parking which I felt was not clearly marked upon arrival. However the spaces are directly outside the property.

The Cherry Tree is more that a Bed and Breakfast and reminds me of a small boutique hotel. It's is beautifully decorated with excellent customer service. The staff are excellent at making the customer feel welcomed and comfortable during other stay. The building is decorated to a high standard and the Superior room we had was exquisitely decorated. The cooked breakfast was wonderful, tasty with lots of choice. We are definitely going back to stay at the Cherry Tree! We will also be telling our friends and family about our stay.

We found the whole stay an excellent experience. We have no complaints.

The location was perfect for our reason for travel The room was beautifully appointed and the bed very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. They were helpful and friendly. The property was easy to check in and out of, and the whole experience was very good.

Breakfast was OK, although there could have been better coffee rather than just the filter coffee provided. As it was one of the hottest nights of the year, air conditioning would have been the icing on the cake, however, this was not the Cherry Tree's fault and the fan provided, did help.

The hotel is amazing with comfortable rooms, exceptional breakfast and everything we needed for a nice relaxing holiday. The staff is particularly helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The village is pretty and we enjoyed the authentic English countryside and picturesque views. Will definitely visit again.

Nothing in particular can be put here for the hotel itself. Just for those who are travelling without a car like us - it may cause some difficulty in going around because the public transport is not very reliable.

The decor is lovely, it has been well thought out. The room was beautiful and clean. The little cafè is lovely and gorgeous.

Even though they provided a fan the room was still pretty warm. When having breakfast the manager was telling off a member of staff. I felt terribly awkward and embarrassed for the lady and the discussion could have been done in an empty room or when no one was around.

Contactless entry worked well. Room well appointed. Good parking. Just off junction 5 on the M40. Great for Garsington Opera. 14 minutes drive away. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Good breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, big range of hot breast, pastries and croissants. Cans and bottles of soft drinks the room for free. There is a daytime cafe and take away 6 days per week.

All good
