The Inn at Emmington

The room was a good size, with 3 chairs available to sit on. Breakfast was very good, with a reasonable choice for a small place, and pleasant helpful staff. Evening meal was good too. Car park was close, albeit a bit bumpy.

In the very hot conditions, a room fan would have been a great asset. Despite having 2 windows, getting the room cool was difficult. The hot water seemed to lack pressure and took a while to arrive at the tap. There was WiFi in the bar area, but none at all in the room, a big disadvantage. (A new broadband had recently been installed, so this might be teething problems.) Data service to the mobile phone is weak, so setting up a mobile "hotspot" wasn't an option.

have stayed at the inn before on a few occassions as we have friends in the immediate area and also came down for the village summer fare always a warm welcome nice rooms good dinners and breakfast always great atmosphere in the pub pleasant friendly host,all round always a great experience and good value,would not hesitate to recomend. n

as previous comments, mouldy bath sealant which could be remedied with anti mould or bleach and frayed curtains which could be remedied by someone who can use a machine. these detract from an otherwise nice room. water was hot and good pressure when we were there

It is a place where you can feel and enjoy the culture, hospitality and kindness of the English people. A nice hotel with a nice, well frequented by the locals, inn/pub. You feel there like you are welcome - local and part of the local society. A big, free parking. Not that far from the last stations of the London Underground - an option for a day trip to London, if you don't want to drive your car into London. Big, very nice English breakfast included.

Nice quiet location, easy to find, spacious car park on opposite side of the road. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, spacious , clean and comfortable en suite room with tea and coffee making facilities. Wide choice of food on the menu, which was reasonably priced and well cooked. Equally a good selection of reasonably priced wines on the wine list. Breakfast was included in the price, again with a variety of offerings from yogurt and fruit, through a selection of cereals to a full English breakfast. Overall excellent value for money, I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Room a little tired, but clean and comfortable. Dave our host was excellent. Great breakfast, although a pub rooms are away from pub so noise not an issue. Lots of safe parking. Nothing too much trouble for dave

Small thing, but curtains needed attention. They close and are lined to keep light out but a few stiches needed.

Good accommodation, food and drink. Dave made us very welcome and cooked an excellent breakfast. Located close to the town of Thame where we were visiting a relative.

Car park potholes, that made it a little difficult to park, particularly when it was raining.

The room was comfortable, with a nice bed and a kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the pub food and drink in the evening were excellent.

The curtains have seen better days, but they kept out the light. The hot water pressure was a bit weak.

We stayed on our outbound journey to France, and also on the inbound journey too. The food was very good, with very generous portions. The rooms are good with comfy beds. free parking, reasonable bar prices. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Owner was super helpful and let us check in early before a wedding. Excellent breakfast and a beautiful little pub, I wish I had the time to have a pint there. Can't fault my stay given the great value room rate.

Bathroom was a little dated
