The designs, the carpets, the security of getting to the lifts, the size of the room. The quality bed. The service from the bar staff.

I didn’t like the receptionist and the policy which wasn’t clearly displayed at the time of booking that you hold £100 deposit and need ID before being able to checked in. I didn’t have my ID or £100 deposit and was told they couldn’t check me in as a result. This wasn’t something stated at the time of booking and I was very upset about this and it’s not a hotel I would return back to as a result. In addition, you want to charge £100 deposit and yet you don’t have your own car park and we have to inconveniently park at the Travelodge hotel. very disappointing.

It is a nice hotel located very close to the City Airport. My room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and I really appreciated free newspapers and magazines.

Everything was great, I would only suggest to remove The “Holy” Bible from the room or ask the guests their religious beliefs in advance. I am not a Christian and the last thing I want to have next to my bed is the Bible. I always get very scary nightmares when Bible is close to me.

This hotel is located within a 5 minute walk of the London City Airport, which also has connections to the DLR. It was very convenient for us to travel into London and see all the sights without having to drive ourselves. Room was spacious compared to other places we stayed in the UK. Staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. We were lucky to get a room on the west side, which we learned from other guests, was quieter.

For us, the dining room was a bit pricey, as we are traveling for several months and trying to keep costs down as much as possible. We had to go elsewhere for meals, and that was sometimes complicated.

Our grandson of 17 years who is completely wheelchair bound was with us. We booked 3 rooms and one of these was "supposed" to be disabled friendly. However, due to the carpet it was very difficult for the patient lift to be moved around in the room. The bed was too low for the wheels of the patient lift to go underneath it for our grandson to be picked up from the wheelchair and placed on the bed. This was then helped by the maintenance gentlemen who placed two wooden pieces underneath to lift the bed from two sides. I feel that the disabled access room must not have carpet but wood of similar floor instead. And bed should be slightly higher than it was.

The proximity to the public transport and the airport makes this hotel a perfect place to spend the time in London .

Improvements need to be made in terms of the proper drainage of water from the shower cabinet and also the wash basin. This needs to be prioritized by the hotel management. Breakfast was not worth the 13-15 pounds that I paid - the menu definitely needs to be revamped. No variety in the types of bread offered . Add more options for vegan and vegetarians . And yes the muffins don’t need to be blueberry very single day.

wonderfully friendly and helpful staff including Lamin at reception and Kiran at the dining hall, to name a few. No unnecessary luxury but perfectly adequate - great breakfast, comfortable bright reception/dining area with plenty of seating opportunities in, room perfectly comfortable with fridge and safe the kind of hotel where you feel nothing is missing. The few times I ordered food of the menu it was great (pizza, feta/melon salad). There is a grocery and couple of simple restaurants a few hundred meters away, and the bus stop and the rail line at the airport are only a few minute walk. and from the there you can access London's huge bus/rail network to pretty much anywhere in the city.

The location is not the most "urban", more industrial and of course next to City Airport but still is a residential neighborhood.

It was a nice location just 4 min walk from London City airport and the station. Breakfast was good as well. The room was way bigger in person compared to the pictures. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Be aware that you’ll need to pay 100 pounds extra when checking in.

Staying at this hotel was purely because we had to catch a flight early morning from the City Airport London. Being first timers in the city we thought it will be great to stay nearby. We just walked to the airport! That is so nice. I must also mention that we reached to our destination in Europe for sometime we thought we may have left a gift which was for our friends in Europe. So we called the hotel and they were so helpful. They checked the room and the housekeeping and got back to us to say there was nothing in the room. When we opened our luggage we found the gift in our bag. Excellent Service.

Used this hotel to attend an event at the ExCel Centre - it's a little walk over but very doable and the buses and DLR make it easier. I enjoyed our room, the bathroom is nice and the bed comfy. Loved the tea that was provided on the room as well as the fridge and Safe. Martin at reception was incredibly nice and helpful when we had requests. I'd stay here again!

We had mold in our sink and the toilet roll holder was busted - we told the reception on the first day. They immediately fixed the toilet role holder, they tried getting rid of the mold but it was persistent I guess. There were some stains on the carpet but honestly I didn't mind these three things very much everything else was very nice. I guess it would have been easier to get two key cards for two people staying in a room, so that could be improved upon.

Conveniently located within a short walk of both the City Airport/DLR line and the ExCel Convention Center, so it was ideal to attend Events at the aforementioned Center and spend time in downtown London too. Despite the close proximity to the Airport runway, the double glazing and relatively calm nearby air traffic mean you can still enjoy a fairly peaceful and quiet stay. Very few take-offs and landings before 8am and after 8pm.

I realise it is quite unsightly for a hotel bathroom, especially classier ones, but the presence of a toilet brush could be an improvement to the bathrooms.
