Me and my partner chose Hotel Olympia for our short stay in London. Before booking I read the reviews carefully so I was prepared. Indeed, you get what you pay for. The place is extremely cheap and the location is absolutely fantastic. The room was tiny and falling apart, but it was clean and warm (we stayed for 5 days mid January). Small room with our own toilet + shower cabin. Everything, from the mirrors to the bedding and towels was very clean. Our window was facing the street and yet it wasn't too loud. There was a small kettle, some cups and instant coffe. The receptionist that welcomed us were nice. The internet wasn't the best, but it worked. I will be giving this place the maximum score on everything, since they were honest about everything on their page, and we had a very pleasant stay.

The internet wasn't the best. There were multiple internets to which you could connect to, but the signal was weak and it kept disconnecting often.

The location was excellent just a few minutes walk from Earls Court Station and.my room was clean and had a brand new ensuite shower, sink an toilet. The bedroom had just been refurbished too.

Although my room had already been refurbished some other rooms just down the corridor & on other floors were still being worked on as was the exterior of the hotel so there were wires hanging from the ceiling & out of walls, paint flakes and dust on the carpets. You could not sleep in late due to renovation noise from around 8am & could not draw the curtains or open the windows as workmen were walking on the scaffolding platform outside your windows. If the work had been completed I would have given the hotel a higher rating. My room was on 3rd floor with no lift meaning you needed to be fit.

Room: for a budget hotel close to the West End, the room was a good size, comfy bed, well-placed power sockets. Best of all was the shower cubicle, large enough to dry off without banging your elbows on the taps. I compare this with the Easyhotel chain I sometimes use, they are far more expensive, their rooms half the size of Hotel Olympia, with absolutely tiny bathrooms and showers Location: superb, 7 minutes walk from Earls Court tube, but quiet outside & I slept well. Staff: the manager went above and beyond, helping me to search the room & my baggage, after I thought I had lost an important item.

Room: There was no actual wardrobe / drawers for clothes; but their were some hooks, a rail and one shelf. Staircase / hallway: a bit scruffy at the moment as decoration is in progress, the hotel had apologised in advance for this.

I’ve been staying at this Hotel several times and always been amazed about how friendly and welcoming they’ve been with me. Consider this is a 2 star hotel so you can’t expect the facilities of a 5 star one: in fact whatever bad review I had read before going there the very first time came across as some cheap geezer expecting to sleep at Buckingham Palace. The rooms are a decent size and clean, sometimes you have to run the water for a while before it gets hot but eventually always work and the pressure is good. The staff is very friendly and try to accommodate any reasonable request. The cleaners do have a reason to hate me theoretically speaking (I don’t trash the room of course but most time I am late with the check out which I am really sorry and ashamed about) but instead they are very nice and understanding. The location is fantastic: Earl’s Court might be not in the top ten of the safest areas in London but the hotel is few steps away the tube station which is served by the district line and the super fast Piccadilly line so you can get to be in the busiest spots of central London in under 20 minutes. I definitely recommend Hotel Olympia and will totally sleep there again.

One of their room has a chest of drawer too close to the bed which makes it pretty much nearly useless but in all the other rooms there was plenty of space to store my belongings

The location was excellent. The room was just renovated, clean and comfortable.

The parts that had not yet been renovated were in pretty terrible condition. The room was a bit too hot. The springs of the bed put pressure on the back, which was corrected when we turned the mattress right side out. The cleaner did not come during our entire stay. There is no soundproofing at all. The sounds of the neighboring rooms are clearly heard, as well as the emergency vehicles outside.

The location was good for where we needed. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept really well. We liked that there was a hair dryer provided and a kettle for tea and coffee.

The room is a bit dark/not much natural light. The curtains let in too much light in the morning. The walls could do with some paint as there are stains etc and it just feels a bit dingy. Bathroom was dark. All furnishings in the room could do with being replaced/modernised as they are damaged.

the location was perfect, in the centre of London, close to all bus stops, railway stations, tourists attractions, shops, restaurants and supermarkets the staff were super friendly and cooperative. we requested a ground floor room and we were given that

it was not very clean. I think there was a sewage near by because every now and then a strong horrible smell would enter the room. the furniture was super old, carpet’s colour almost non visible because of how dirty it was. the bathroom did not have a fan to suck out the air inside. windows, doors, walls look like they haven’t been cleaned or wiped in ages.

The staff here is very friendly. I ask them to keep my luggage until afternoon and they willing to help me. It's worth the money, cause it is a very simple hotel but very comfortable. The location very startegic to get tube.. Just like one minute walking distance to get tube that access for central london

Shower room too small for me .. it's not complaining but I understand it.
