Breakfast had a good variety but because our stay was during Christmas and new year, it was overcrowded and the restaurant was not prepared to deal with such crowds. The hotel was so thoughtful to put presents in front of my children’s rooms for Christmas. Such a lovely gesture.

The limit for the use of pools for children. I booked this hotel so I could bring the kids to the indoor pool but there was a 2 hour time limit during the day when we were normally out and about. Kids are not allowed in the pool in the afternoons/evenings. The housekeeping staff took £250 from my purse. Sadly I was in a rush and forgot to put it in the safe and it was removed from my purse. Hopefully they needed the money more than me.

The heating in the room stopped working every night. So it was very cold every morning .

Everything was perfect the location, the room, room service was always quick and attentive, technology in the room eg electrical curtains to open and close, wide tv with multiple channels including international, tea and coffee of high quality, espresso machine, big safe box, good brad hair dryer.. jacuzzi was very nice, almost everything u feel the luxury the time you enter the hotel I loved my stay and sure will be back again in the future

The spa wasn’t open the time I stayed in the hotel, although it was mentioned in booking.com that it will open during the time of my stay!! That was very disappointing, i was told it will need at least a month or more to open. Dust in the room.. I guess it needs more attention to clear up dusts from the closet areas, the carpet and the tables. Cleaning wise was perfect it is just that you see the dust flying once u open the closet My room wasn’t in the side where sun beams can enter through the windows, You can’t open the windows!

woow i loved it .. room was big enough.. clean .. many smart buttons for lighting and toilet.. staff was sooo friendly and good .. the location is really good many restaurants are near by as well as underground station .. the breakfast was so good !! I highly recommend this hotel and definitely will visit again

the room lightings it needs to have more lights to be brighter .. some of the lights was not working I guess thats why it was dark

the room tempeture was so cold and could figure out how it worked and the pool was closed and also the hot tube was closed it had to much chlorine in it and our neigboor had a party and was using Nitrous oxide in the hallway. my fourth time here and i think last time :(

Rooms were very comfortable, spacious and cleaned. They were fully equipped, including toiletries, hairdryer and comfy bathrobes. Despite restoration works in progress in the restaurant, breakfast was rearranged and served at the second floor. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide selection of food and beverages. Spa and pool area were also available from 09 till 21 and well managed. Well equipped gym open 24/7. All staff was courteous and very helpful.

Light switches in the room are not user-friendly. Jacuzzi has been out of order 4 days out of 6. I would have expected a swift intervention. A real pity.

Ingrid and her team were fantastic. The service provided for my 3 children was beyond expectations ( it was their first trip away together without a parent. My eldest daughter has a disability and her brother and sister wanted to give her a special holiday). I hadn't expected the level of care and thoughtfulness shown by Ingrid ( the general manager) in particular, and reflected by all the staff. I can't say a big enough thank you! They had a wonderful stay. The adjoining rooms were perfect, the welcome gifts were really thoughtful, breakfasts were excellent, and the pool was lovely. I thoroughly recommend staying at Montcalm East.

We loved everything, the spacious room equipped with everything required at the highest level, an incredibly comfortable bed, an excellent shower, cleanliness and meticulous room service twice a day! The reception staff was attentive and able to help with every question and request with professional courtesy and good will. On the day of departure, we received excellent advice and assistance in organizing our trip to the airport from Christian at reception (it was a very smooth and comfortable ride), The breakfast was rich with a selection that could satisfy any requirement. In conclusion, a perfect stay!

I had a fantastic stay. Everything was great. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city and access everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent. Great food options to start the day. Overall, I loved my stay here!

While the hotel had a gym, it was missing some essential equipment and amenities. As someone who values their fitness routine, I found this a bit disappointing. It would have been great to have a more well-equipped fitness center to maintain my workout routine during my stay.

It was modern stylish very well located and staff were super friendly .there are lots of great details in the design features throughout . I was there god my bachelorette weekend and had balloons and chocolate and wine and rose petals in the room on arrival. It was really special, the spa is a decent size as well and I really enjoyed my treatments

The spa had to close due to a maintenance issue on my second day. I was only there for the weekend , and the spa was a big part of why I booked the hotel. It was well communicated and was unexpected by staff but it was really disappointing. I also had someone staying next door to me complaining about noise at ten thirty pm on a Saturday as she was trying to sleep? I thought that was a unreasonable but complied and turned music down. Not the hotel’s fault but did make me wonder if regular guests were more business oriented? I might have just been unlucky
