The staff were friendly especially our hosts Hannah and Brian. Food was excellent and accommodation exceptionally clean and serviced well. Parking is available and it's a peaceful retreat One must note that the Inn is c.one mile from Lymington and/or the Wightlink ferry to Isle of Wight. There's a path, across the field from the Inn, leading towards Lymington taking approximately 20 mins + depending on one's fitness. My wife and I are both septagenarians and we managed the walking in 20mins without being out of breath. So nothing to dislike!!!

Nothing in particular.

Accomodation was excellent, comfortable and quiet, handy for the ferry to the IoW. Breakfast was good, it was fresh cooked delivered to the table. Meals in restaurant were very good and obviously popular as restaurant can get busy. Large car park and able to park right outside the room.

Access into Lymington on foot is on a busy road, there is a footpath through a field part of the way. No fault of the The Walhampton Arms but just saying. The walk takes about 20 minutes if you're fit and able. Downhill on the way into Lymington and obviously uphill on the way back. Bar and restaurant closed Sunday night we were made aware of this at check in.

Well appointed room with a comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Lovely staff always happy to meet any request.

I realise that we don’t always have such good weather as I experienced but it would have been nice to have a light bed cover option as opposed to a duvet as the room was rather warm. Whilst the food was well cooked it was pretty much chips accompanying most dinner options. Freshly cooked vegetables or a salad option would have gone down well. Also breakfast would have been a bit healthier with a selection of fruit and yogurt.

Room was lovely. Modern and clean. It was in an outbuilding which was ideal as we were travelling with a dog. Good overnight stay a short drive away from Lymington to IOW ferry. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice with cooked breakfast although buffet was limited to fruit juice, cereal and banana, and apple for fruit. Cooked breakfast was lovely and a really nice cafetiere of coffee which stayed hot. Would defo stay again.

Nothing to dislike. It was quiet when we visited though. No pavement along road to Lymington so a car needed.

Very nice decor and beautiful facilities, gorgeous restaurant. Nice decent breakfast included with real coffee There is an excellent country house with a fair restaurant not far down a country path . Locals often say hello when walking down the lanes. On my travels there some people suggested this was a place to stay once only and most people never return as it is unfriendly. I did not find this at all.

Check in is officially 5pm which is late and checkout 10am which is early. The hotel is however happy to let you in early and may let you stay a bit later . It is a. Awkward walk to the town and on Sunday the restaurant is not open .

Everything.. It was close to the Lymington Ferry SO I could collect my friend from the Isle of Wight.. You have a little ground floor unit that is clean. The bed is divine.. The room nicely decorated.. A TV that works.. (not always the case I found this road trip) Not that I watch it much and the usual T coffee bathroom condiments... The food 😍 a carvery that was amazing and incredibly reasonable on the Sunday yes you need to book up it was full and I missed out on my sticky toffee pud.. and this morning breakfast that is freshly cooked with high quality produce.. Thank you to the chef Lee. And its a YES from me (I probably won't get in next time because it is oversubscribed) it is a 10 all the way.. A lovely break thank you

The room was very well furnished with a super king bed, quality furniture, phone charger points ... Everything was very clean. The en-suite was excellent too with a powerful shower and twin sinks! The breakfast was very good indeed.

The 5pm check-in ! The complex was actually closed until then. The room was exceptionally hot when we arrived and unfortunately south facing so it was impossible to cool it down. A small fan was provided which helped a bit but, although the bed was very comfortable, we didn't get a good night's sleep.

Well the headline statement is I am defintiely coming again!! The rooms were fantastic and being disabled, the accomodation was excellent. The staff were friendly, accomodating and welcoming. I think its one of these places where you get to know the staff. They are so helpful! The food is of a good pub standard and we all enjoyed very pleasant evenings in the bar. We had the breakfast included and we all had something different. Lymington itself is wonderful and well worth visiting. So will happily recommend staying here.

I would not fault them tbh. We had a great time. They are v dog friendly and are in a perfect situation for taking them out so next time , we will take the dogs.

Fabulous staff, location, really cosy well decorated room and views at the entrance of the property were fantastic. Really enjoyed that the rooms are located next to the pub which we didn't realise at the time of booking so, was very convenient being able to get back late in the evening and not be disturbing others given that we were attending a wedding nearby. Room was gorgeously warm when we checked in and still when we returned in the middle of the night, very welcome when the temperature outside was in the minuses, no draughts at all! Really comfortable mattress and pillows, slept very well which is saying something when 7 months pregnant! Couldn't fault a thing, breakfast was amazing, felt very welcome and relaxed. Will most definitely stay again for longer and bringing the dog in tow for sure!

Nothing at all.

Wonderful welcome and caring attention throughout my stay. Ryan and Hannah made me feel really at home, and the staff were as pests happy to help. The food was excellent, and the dining area well laid out. My room was particularly well furnished, with attention to details, and the en suite was spacious and featured a large shower enclosure.

Not a dislike, but the walk into town was 20 minutes and featured a section along the edge of a maize field to keep safe from the main traffic.
