Blenheim House

Elaine and Lee were most welcoming, we arrived ahead of checking in time hoping to use the facilities and they were extremely obliging. The accommodation was a proper home from home with many thoughtful touches catering for our every need. On the days that Elaine baked we were treated to delicious cake. The breakfast cooked by Lee using locally sourced products was really special and plentiful. Thank you both, you made our stay very memorable and we have no hesitation in recommending your beautiful guest house.

Elaine and Lee the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome nothing is too much for them. It was my partners birthday and I'd mentioned it briefly months ago asking for places local to book to eat, on arrival we were shown to our room which they had decorated with birthday bunting and a bottle of wine (non alcoholic) as they have no licence a birthday card and some cake. We were totally blown away with their kind gesture it was so lovely. The room was exceptional big bright and clean with everything you need, loved the mini fridge a great addition to the room. Great location within walking distance of the town and has its own parking on site which is also a bonus. The breakfast is absolutely delicious best I've had for a long long time and sets you up perfectly for the day ahead. We will definitely be booking here next time we are in Torquay I can't recommend the place highly enough. Thank you to Elaine and Lee for making our stay so pleasurable see you again soon.

Everything was perfect a big 10/10.

What a wonderful establishment, Elaine and Lee were the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble even cake in the room and a bottle of water and fresh milk in the mimi fridge. The breakfasts were delicious and filling to set you up for the day. Everything was spotless and the room and ensuite were Tan ample size, we can highly recommend Blenheim House.

There was nothing to dislike.

Blenheim house is situated a short walk away from the park and beach with ample parking on site as well as on the residential street. A beautiful property which is decorated and styled to an exceptional standard, Blenheim house is an absolute Gem of a find. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly and pay attention to the finest details; from cake, mints and brownies in the room to additional treats in the shared space of the property. Breakfast was quite possibly one of the best I’ve had and there was a wide selection to choose from; is a bonus that it is included within the price. The local produce used was delicious. The room and bed was very comfortable and every part of the property was spotlessly clean. An in room fridge stocked with milk and water as well as a fan for hotter days and nights, I cannot think of a single thing that was missing. The sun loungers, whilst I didn’t use personally were brilliantly located and had I been with company would have definitely enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings.

An immaculate, sweet and friendly bed and breakfast in a great location. From the moment we arrived, Elaine and Lee were attentive, kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and the extra little touches in the room made it really special for us. We didn't make it to breakfast because we either weren't hungry or awake, which was a shame as I imagine it would have been excellent as they were happy to cater all dietary requirements. This place is a real gem with warm and inviting hosts. Don't hesitate to book Blenheim House for your stay in Torquay!

The window for breakfast was a little short and early for us so we ended up not taking advantage of the included breakfast. This wasn't really a problem for us though as that's simply our preference.

Elaine and Lee were amazing hosts, warm friendly and chatty, amazing lemon drizzle cake on arrival and after a night out. Properly fresh snd lush. Immaculately clean and excellent facilities and finally not batting an eyelid at our festival clothes and attitude! excellent breakfast and accommodating to let us have continental breakfast earlier than was advertised as we had to check out early. Lovely hosts, lovely accommodation and lovely location! Would highly recommend a stay in with Blenheim House.

Best B&B we have ever stayed at! Amazing hosts, very large, clean bedroom with a comfortable bed and nice Ensuite bathroom, birthday surprise for my husband in room with bunting, a card, chocolates and a bottle of alcohol free prosecco, a little fridge in room with a full bottle of water which got filled up again, 2 kit kats also in fridge, milk and oat milk for my husband. Tea and coffee facilities in room. On day 2 we found two slices of probably the best cake I've ever eaten in our room. Breakfast was out of this world! Full english cooked to perfection and other warm selections on the menu. Croissants, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and a fruit salad, nice orange and apple juices also available. The hosts are just brilliant and gave great recommendations on things to do and which pub to go to. Free parking also available. Thank you so much, we had an amazing time!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome in this beautiful property. Lee our host immediately offered to make tea and coffee in addition to the delicious home-made cakes in our room which were a lovely touch. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The bathroom was modern with a large corner electric shower. Breakfast was a real treat, the breakfast room again was spotless and Elaine worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had what they wanted from a fantastic selection of food on offer. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything! The owners Elaine & Lee were exceptional hosts. The room we stayed in (no.2) was very clean, lovely bright colours, fresh flowers on the table & very spacious! Lots of drawers, cupboards & hanging space too. You also get a small fridge equipped with fresh water & milk replenished daily. There's also tea, coffee & a kettle plus a big fan (if you need it) stored in the wardrobe. The ensuite was equipped with the whitest, fluffiest towels, shampoo & soap dispensers & a large shower cubicle. Blenheim house only has 5 bedrooms, a lovely lounge with cold drinks & honesty bar & a bright airy breakfast room & it's all immaculate. Its also in a great location. You even get homemade cake in the afternoon, such a lovely gesture after a day out. On arrival our first greeting was tea & cake on the spacious decking by our warm & welcoming hosts. The cooked breakfast is delicious & there's so much choice on how you can have your eggs. There's also the usual cold selections of juices, cereal, yogurts, daily fresh fruit bowl & anything that's not they will do their utmost to provide it. Nothing is too much trouble & they are so friendly & knowledgeable if you want ideas on where to eat or visit. The beachfront & local shops are about 10/15 minutes walk. There's lots of local restaurant's, lots of different cuisines, pubs, fish & chips, coffee shops & gift shops all along a panoramic view of Torquay Harbour & beyond. The town itself is also lovely & clean, not a single chip or piece of paper in sight! Blenheim house more than exceeded our expectations & our hosts are what made it so. Nothing, everything was outstanding.

My partner and I loved the property and attention to detail just made our stay, as well as Elaine and Lee’s amazing hospitality, one that will stay in our hearts and memories always. Breakfasts were well thought out and everything was available whatever your tastes. Lee’s cooking was excellent, every morning the cooked breakfast was spot on. We highly recommend this wonderful property.

Couldn’t find fault apart from the property not being dog friendly as we would have definitely booked again for next year had dogs been allowed.
