Fantastic stay with Suzy and Paul. They went above and beyond what they needed to do Firstly neither of us drive so arrived by coach. I emailed Suzy to ask for a number of a local taxi company. Instead of giving a number she asked what time we were arriving and said she would pick us up. Paul also dropped us back the day we left Really kind. The room itself was lovely, with a large bathroom. A nice touch was that we had been left 2 cupcakes in our room that were delicious. Breakfast was a varied choice that was ordered the morning before and was amazing. I couldn't pick a favourite everything was fresh hot and perfect. Both Suzy and Paul took time out to chat and their stories were so interesting as was their local knowledge. They told us buses to catch and loads more to help our days out. Just a wonderful stay.

Great value for money! Cosy and homely! The hosts suzy and Paul we're amazing from their attention to detail, bubbly personalities and giving ideas on where to visit and eat. Freshly cooked breakfast + continental, excellent variety. Good sized rooms with all the essentials. Cosy and comfortable bed, pillows. Bath robes provided and towels. Freshly baked queen cakes on arrival, tea, coffee, hot chocolates in room. Best of all fresh milk in the mini fridge and water! Car parking. 10 minute walk to the harbour / 20 minute approx to the centre.

All excellent 😊 Suggestion only for a box of tissues in room.

I'm so pleased we booked to stay a few days at Marmalade B&B , the hosts were a fabulous couple called Paul & Suzy who made our stay as comfortable as they could and went above and beyond to help us or get us things for our room etc. We had a lovely, freshly cooked, hot breakfast cooked fresh to order by Suzy, which was delicious. The bedroom was comfortable and had everything in it. Suzy even made little cakes in our room to welcome us, what a lovely touch mmmmm! Thank you! We would definitely recommend you stay here and if were back up that way we will definitely be booking again. Thank you Paul & Suzy , love Lynn & Peter Sells xx

What was really nice was the personal touches suzie a and Paul are really nice couple the room was spotless and they couldn't have done more to help. Susie's breakfast where lovely from the full breakfast to my waffles and the pouched eggs muffin and salmon she organised time so we had a freshly cooked breakfast not like a premier inn where it stands all morning. My husband loved her cups of tea,they fresh fruit ,I could not fault them at all if your wanting a 5 star b&b with a personal touch marmalade b&b is the place to be.Thankyou for our stay Paula and Richard

When we arrived, we were greeted by Suzy and Paul, who made us feel very welcome. Suzy then took us upstairs to show us to our room, which was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. In the room by the kettle sat two cupcakes and on the side table was a bowl of sweets which was a very nice touch. The bathroom was of a very good size and very clean . Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and was extremely tasty, and Paul entertained us with some of his stories and a few jokes. All this made it feel we were part of the family . Nothing was too much trouble. Suzy and Paul are wonderful hosts, and we would highly recommend a visit.

was a very homely cosy property, the room we stayed in was spacious clean and tidy. bathroom was a nice size and had just been refurbished and was decorated gorgeous. breakfast room was nice and cosy had plenty of light. breakfast itself was really nice and tasty with plenty of options. Paul and Suzy were friendly and welcoming when we arrived and during our stay.

a big hill when walking back from town to the property and also a higher handrail outside the property with the steps.

The food was brilliant, there was alot of selection available. Nothing was too much trouble. The location of the bed and breakfast was excellent, you were away from the hustle and bustle of the highstreets but then still close to the seafront and the town centre. The hosts Paul and Suzy were fantastic they were so accommodating and willing to go the extra mile for you. They were also very knowledgeable about the local area if you wanted to go anywhere they would be able to give you directions ect.

It was a busy main road to take into consideration but it didn't spoil our time here.

The breakfast was excellent and Susi offered a wide choice of options. The hosts were friendly and very informative and were flexible about using car parking facilities before check-in and after check-out. They have made a conscious decision not to have check-ins on the day that the previous guest checks out. This avoids pressurising the guest to check-out in a rush. Generous amount of power sockets by the desk for charging phones, etc and for using a laptop. Wi-Fi had a good signal. The small fridge in the room was very welcome for keeping drinks cold.

Although there is adequate car parking, it can be a little challenging to manoeuvre into the spaces available.

Brilliant hosts Suzy and Paul very friendly, very informative, great value for money, brilliant breakfast plenty of choice, the most comfy bed with Egyptian Cotton Linen, best nights sleep, Location was great, train station minutes away, or about 15 mins walk into the harbour not an issue, brilliant harbour to look at, lovely Abbey, and beautiful park, would definitely recommend and when we fancy the trip again this is the place to return no hesitation.

Suzy & Paul were great hosts very friendly the place is spotless and decorated to a very high standard plenty of draws for our clothes plus a wardrobe which contain a small fridge with milk and water, plus 2 cakes,and a dish of sweets,and toiletries ,small tv, comfy bed .Great location about 10 mins to beach took us 30mins to town but we strolled ,great breakfast ,in fact we loved it very friendly couple.
