Location is awesome and we got a great deal. Large room with lots of space, clean and nicely decorated. The shower water flow was amazing. Felt like standing under a waterfall.

Construction noise continued through the night, mattress was too hard and the bed did not have a head board so I kept bumping my head on the wall and the pillow would sink between the bed and the wall, also very dirty outside the door with garbage bags piled up next door, but that seems to be an accepted nuisance in NYC.

Perfect location. I was able to walk to all of my destinations. I loved that the park is so close

This is nitpicking, but the only thing I really hated was the half-door shower. Seriously, who decided that's a good idea? I don't think anyone wants to get out of a shower and then have to step in more water. Boo! to the half-door

The location is excellent - very close to Central Park and many of the key sites of Manhattan. It's also very quiet and has some great delis and restaurants on the street too. The room was larger than I'd expected, given the location, and the whole place is stylish and classy.

The location is perfect. The beds are super cozy, staying in the 6th floor was super and not a noise to be heard in such a good location. Only complaint is the a/c is pretty loud when turning on :) A quick shout out to staff especially to Keith at guest services for a warm welcome and help throughout the stay.

I loved the location. So close to the park. The room was very spacious and well laid out for a NYC hotel room.

The bathroom shower divider only covered half the shower- there wasn’t a door- so water from the shower would flood the floor. Also, the bathroom door did not seal closed, not providing much privacy.

The staff were very friendly, the location was right next to the subway and loads of shops, the room was bigger than expected and the shower was amazing! Would definitely recommend and stay in another Sonder Chambers hotel

I think having the room cleaned each day - understand this was for sustainability which I think is important.

Probably the cleanest and Nicest Room / Hotel i stayed in NYC. Special Thanks to Thanary & Keith at receipetion/ bell desk for being so helpful and just about so welcoming. 100% i recommended people to stay here. Complete Value for money, Great Location, Friendly .. Also the system to refill what ever you need like water/ Coffee etc is so great and easy and free... :)

There is nothing i did not like about the hotel

Everything was great! Staff were invisible for the most part, but helpful with inquiries. Location is *perfect*, a minute's walk from Central Park and easy walking distance from Times Square. We had a Queen Room and King Suite with Balcony, and the suite was worth every extra penny so I highly recommend choosing it if your budget allows. Little tip: the suite has an extra toilet discreetly tucked away (pictured), so if you're using the sofa as an extra bed the occupants will be able to go to the bathroom without disturbing the occupants in the king bed. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, so thought I'd let folks know in case it is useful. edit: oh, and the shower was amazing! Of course, you already know that if you've read pretty much any other review here... but I can confirm it was as good as others have said!

I loved everything. From the rooms to the location and ambience. But most importantly, the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were some of the most kind, caring, friendly people I have met in NYC. I had a bit of a rough late night one time with my phone being broken, and the staff was so caring and helped me through it!!! As a solo person traveling to America for the first time, the team truly made my stay so safe and amazing!!! I will definitely be coming back!!!! Thank you again to all you lovely beautiful people at Sonder. Aish

Location was perfect for our trip. It was easy to come and go. The room, including bed, linens and shower were very comfortable. The hotel was clean, functional, somewhat industrial, but great for our trip. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel/room and so it was a comfortable place to sleep and get ready.

It felt a tiny bit impersonal. Get your own refill supplies, no real acknowledgement when you come and go, couldn't answer service questions like if staff could call a taxi or which company they recommend (they said Uber/lyft, but we just needed something fast due to the rain. This was not a problem for us at all, but just a little different from other hotels. We would definitely stay again.
