M Social Hotel Times Square New York

Room was clean and super quiet.

Checkin was a litte chaotic as there was only one person doing checkin's at 4pm and there was a slew of customers and it seemed that they were not prepared for it. When I got to the front it went super smooth. Outdoor deck bar that overlooks Times Square was not open. One elevator from street level to 5th floor for checkin was broken, so only one elevator was working and everyone going in and out had to use one elevator. The queue would get quite long at meal times.

Location, location. Hotel is really clean, everything is walkable and staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating

It appears that when the hotel is fully booked, there is standing in line for breakfast - that was included - which happened 2x to us. Big no no, that needs to be solved. This is the only reason we did not give the M Social a good but not excellent review.

The view form our room was amazing and the location its ideal for first time travelers in NYC.

We arrived a little bit early to the hotel and the staff in the morning was rude. Anyway when we come back to our check in in the afternoon was a new staff and they were very kind with us.

I liked the location and the view from the rooftop. The room was comfortable too.

Staff serving the breakfast was not attentive and friendly. I felt that the tip was paid for me, picking up everything I needed. Not even checked whether I needed something.

Property is a great location and within walking distance of the main area of Times Square and Broadway. it’s also about a 10-15 min walk from Central Park, 5th avenue and a lot of Christmas attractions such as Rockerfeller Tree and Bryant Market. There’s a lot of transport options nearby including the subway and port authority bus station.

we had a great view of the Hudson River on the 26th floor. would highly recommend booking a room with a view. the room was basic (as expected from a city hotel) but clean. we were provided with clean towels and a turndown service each day. the view of Times Square from the bar is brilliant. it felt very safe because the hotel lift was located away from the main hotel entrance and could only be accessed by people staying. there was a safe place to keep luggage until our flight and the concierge were really helpful.

The beds were very comfortable and our room had a great view.

The bathroom was very small but since there were just 2 of us it was ok. We could not stream anything from our devices to the TV even though the TV tells you you can - we called to see what we were doing wrong and were told that that was not up and running yet. Please take it off of the TV if it’s not available! Also, when we arrived, the employees in the street lobby just stared at us until I asked if this was where we checked in - then they told me that the elevators were around the corner. Signage would be helpful to direct customers to the actual hotel lobby, which is 8 floors up and not street level. We saw zero signs letting people know.

I cannot express in words enough how beautiful and great this hotel is. The good points about this hotel outnumber the bad points. The good points are: 1. The location was fantastic. Almost right in the heart of Times Square. I loved walking down the footpath and see what makes Times Square an amazing place. 2. The breakfast was very good. I felt like a king when eating the breakfast. 3. The restaurants and other shops are extremely close to the hotel. A big thank you goes to the staff at The Gallaghers Steakhouse restaurant which is right next door to the M Social Hotel. They were professional, friendly, courteous and last but not least the best steak I have ever eaten in my life. That is no joke. 4. The stage shows like musical stage shows I was able to experience for the first time in life while staying at the hotel because they were between 1 minute (e.g. MJ The Musical was right next door to the hotel) to about 20 minutes walking distance (e.g. Aladdin the Musical). 5, Last but not least, the staff at the hotel. Please keep up the good week. You guys have been very helpful.

The only bad thing to say if any about this hotel is that the room needs to have a microwave oven to heat food up if you bring take away from the restaurants.

Location was great. Hotel lobby was great. Location was great.

The breakfast manager (a lady) was unpleasant with many of the guests. There was always a big waiting time to get a table (30 mins in line just to get breakfast) and she kept blaming the guests for the waiting time. We stayed a full week so we saw that this was consistent every morning.

The room is clean the the lobby is perfect View from room windows amazing.

1.one day when return to the room and there no.clean towels no was replace we call and front dedk and ask for more clean to for more. 2. When we arrived befour the check in and I ask to do Earley checking and the pepole say OK .but its will cust you 100$ why???? If you have free room that clean and ready let the guest check in earlier and don't charge them we pay lot of money for 2 night. I put all our lagged my and 2 children at secured room and go out to see the city. If we do hot bath and after that go see the city is was greater after 12 h flyte Oded davicson

Location, rooftop bar and views

Not informed of 460 dollar deposit required at check-in when we booked through booking.com, so came as a bit of a shock. Concierge ordered us a taxi, which which tried to charge us about 30 dollars more than the cab we hailed around the corner. When we told the Concierge we were going for a cheaper cab, he replied good luck.
