Great location, big, comfortable bed. Lashings of hot water in the shower.

Heater in bathroom didn’t work. The operating hours of reception (Monday to Friday and I think 9am to 4pm) meant that I never saw them. The room was not serviced for the whole week of my stay. There was supposed to be a system of leaving a notice by the front door of the apartment to arrange this but either it wasn’t there or I couldn’t find it. The view of the lake was minimal, from my room I could see glimpses as well as a wooden hoarding in front of the large car park space or yard opposite the property.

Lomond Lodge is one of the favourite places I’ve ever stayed! The rooms were exactly as pictures and described and were extremely comfortable. I loved having a little kitchenette and the waterfall shower was fabulous. The smart TV was great and I enjoyed having my own door into the small garden seating area which has amazing views. The location was out of this world good! Less than a few minutes away from everything. The staff were great and helpful for anything I needed and were so friendly, they really added to the stay and the area was nice and quiet. I also enjoyed the use of the laundry facilities which were cheap. Can not recommend high enough!

THE VIEW - OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The room - super-super comfortable, clean and more luxurious than we had anticipated. The splendid bathroom with good water pressure, and all the thoughtful little touches. As is normal in NZ, it had a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave (although no hob / big oven, however this is a small unit and not practical with this size). It is also in a quiet area, although a short walk from the flights of stairs that take you right down into the centre of buzzy Queenstown. A HUGE thank you to the super-helpful staff, and a big "obrigado" to Victor - the super-nice Brazilian member of staff. Always with a genuine huge smile on this face, every request for assistance was taken care of promptly and kindly. We had a nice chat with him, especially since my friend is also Brazilian and I have been to Brazil and am trying to improve my Portuguese. Victor, I hope you continue to enjoy life in NZ, and boa sorte para o futuro amigo!

The only improvement would have been an open-able window. Whilst there is good air-conditioning, it can get very hot in Central Otago and I wasn't fully comfortable leaving the porch door open at night. Nothing probably would have happened, what with it being a quiet neighbourhood. Then again, Queenstown is so beautiful at any time of the year and there is so much to see and do, so it would be a shame to stay inside the unit for long.

The most accommodating people. We were camping the previous night and requested for an early check in, while they made no promises, they managed to have the bed ready on our requested time! 👍 The receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, from the massive king plus bed, heating and towels in the bathroom, to the equipped kitchenette.

No parking on-site. So additional $15 for a spot in a nearby carpark. We had to take extra care with closing the door. On one occasion, it slid open by itself.

Location is the best, less than 5 min walk to downtown. Parking on site is a must, especially when Queenstown has contrusction in every other streets. A lakeview from a room is spectacular as promised. Room is basic but comfortable and has everything we needed.

Staff hour is very limited. Reserved parking can be frustrated and challenging. Even we reserved and paid for parking spot, sometime we couldn't park our car there becasue all spots are full with guests car who didn't reserve parking.

Omg my partner and I LOVED every bit of our stay. From beginning to end. I surprised my partner with a 3 day trip to queenstown for His birthday. We've never been queenstown before. Everything was walking distance. Staff were awesome! Very helpful & kind. Incredible view to wake up to every morning. Everyone we encountered down there, were absolutely friendly and kind. Oh man, we had a blast! 🤗 Guttered we stayed only 3 days. But was well worth it. Room was clean, comfy, size was perfect. Will definitely come again and recommend 👌and may I just add, the Bed was just "Heaven" 😌 was so comfortable. I'm glad I didn't change my stay at a different motel/hotel. I have nothing to complain about. Queenstown is definitely a place to visit and Lomond Lodge is a definite place to stay. Have fun and enjoy! Bless.

Location is amazing. Views from the room are incredible and we were on the lowest level. So close to town. The rooms were warm when it was snowing outside. The bed and pillows were really comfy. They have towels for make up removal which is a small thing but helps. Staff were so lovely and if we were to return to Queenstown would definitely book here again.

Our flight arrived at Queenstown outside of office hours but they were more then happy to accommodate us with this. The room was very clean and they offered daily room service. The city centre is a really short walk away and the view was spectacular from our door.

The location was perfect, very close to city centre and was less than a 5 minute walk. Room was very clean and comfortable, with a view of the mountains and gondalas. Staff were so welcoming and kind, they helped take our bags to the room. I would definitely stay at Lomond Lodge again.

Bathroom was great and modern but would have benefited from a bigger vanity as it was on the small side.

We had a fantastic stay at Lomond Lodge. The beds are very comfortable, the room was clean and tidy and it was quite. You can also reserve parking right in front of the lodge which made it super easy for us with having somewhere to park our rental car in Queenstown. 2 minute walk to town. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Queenstown.
