The rooms are pretty big, spacious parking (10 Euro per day), very good breakfast with good coffee. All the staffs are very friendly, especially in the reception and bar. Don't forget to dress up warm in the evening to visit the Bar, in Porto it is pretty cold in the late evenings. City center is not far away around 30 minutes walk or Taxi to visit the city center is around 5 Euro,

Price for food in the restaurant. It is bit expensive.

The hotel looked exactly like on the pictures. We only stayed one night and all was great. especially also the choice at breakfast.

You are paying for parking (in the safe and big garage) as described. we arrived at 9pm and checked out at 8am the next day. we asked if we could leave the car in the garage until the afternoon as we wanted to explore the city before going to the next place. even though the garage was more than half-empty, the answer first was no. then they said yes against additional charge and then in the end yes but only until 3pm. I think this is something to be aware about if you come by car. the parking might be more expensive than what is described even though you are not even staying 24hrs at that hotel. we didn't find it very pleasant and unclearly communicated. other than that we can clearly recommend the hotel and would go back there ourselves...

A very new and modern hotel. We enjoyed the big rooms, a good quality mattress, the bath in the room and the tiling.

Small things. The style is light and airy, with a lot of white light and mirrors. The bathrooms are a bit small compared to the room (narrow shower or bidet too close to the wall). There are no fresh flowers or plants (all are plastic). We booked a deluxe room with king or queen size bed. We were given a bed 1.55 metres wide, and told this is queen size. Half way through our week we asked again and could move to an upgraded room which was exceptional, with a huge bed and exceeded our expectations. There is a safe box in the room but it is not fixed to the wall. It is a no smoking hotel but there is no facility for smokers and as a consequence the front of the hotel was quite messy with cigarette stubs. A small bin would fix this.

The presentation of the Hotel, room, everything was clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. The staff were all nice and always willing to help. The buffet breakfasts were excellent, fresh fruit, juice and a variety of food. Everything was freshly cooked. Everything very organised. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again. I had a great time staying in Porto and at hotel Cristal Porto.

I am very sensitive to noises so a noise free environment is like a paradise for me. The room I stayed in was not as isolated as I wished as the room/window was facing the road and at certain times of the day/night the noise from the cars passing by was somehow loud. However during a quiet time it was peaceful and relaxing. Besides that overall I was very happy with everything.

Hotel was spotless with tasteful decor. All looked fairly new. Very good breakfast.

But far from main areas. About 25-30 mins which is normally fine for us but didn’t realise it was uphill so ended up largely being out all day and staying out to eat and drink only coming back for night cap and bed. Not many restaurants or bars in immediate area. Would have preferred a king sized bed as standard.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. They could not do enough for us. Breakfast was very good with lots of varieties.

The rooms were small. They didn’t provide body cream, which I expected a 4 star hotel to have. Bath towels were small and thin.

The restaurant food was amazing, and the service excellent. Antonio is a real credit to the hotel. The outside area was a refreshing place to relax. This hotel fully deserves its four stars.

The location is not great, although it is placed with a reasonable walking distance of two metro stations. Top tip. Walk to Faria Guimares Station when leaving the hotel. Return from Marques Station so that it's always a downhill walk! If the hotel restaurant wasn't absolutely brilliant you may struggle to find decent restaurants nearby.

very clean and an easy walk down hill to city center. marques subway station an easy walk to hotel. take a cab up the hill unless u have strong legs. I’m 70 so for less than $3.00 easy trip

Hotel is lovely, very clean beds are comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and always very helpful. location is ok about 600m walk from metro. the only problem the aircon did not work in the room and it was extremely hot.

Good breakfast, it was quite busy at the breakfast. Room was great, however, there were not many hooks to hang the towels. Location was a little distant from the city centre, an uphill walk from city centre to hotel. it was about 15 minute walk. But hotel offers secured underground carpark.
