Ezdan Hotels Doha

The room had an amazing city and sea view. At night the light were beautiful to stare at. We enjoyed our pool time. The maze experience of exploring the hotel was fun.

I called the reception to connect me to housekeeping to change the linen and she told me they can’t change it as it has already been changed before our arrival. I sensed weird about it because the way she talked to be lacked professionalism and top of that it is my personal preference hence the staff shouldn’t put her opinion and ask me questions. She also asked whether it is urgent to change it and the call was cut off and no one called back after that.

Modern building with nice facilities and a majestic view. I had an earlier flight and needed an extra night, they kindly accommodated that request. Room was always clean and the front desk answered all my calls in a timely manner. Bathroom was good, in good conditions and had all the utensils for my stay.

The staff at the front desk was overall good but few comments. I request a late check out the night before and apparently the clerk “did not record it”., although he allowed it with a big smile. The next day, I was asked to leave the room on time because there were no late check out requests. That is not acceptable. As a visitor I might not ask questions that seem reasonable to the staff and they could anticipate, for example: no trains on Friday (after asking for directions), free bus service in some places. As a tourist, I should do some research, but an extra reminder from the staff would help. Lastly but small, the deodorizers in the main lobby is too much. It smells good, but it was overwhelming most of the times.

I love the view and the location of the hotel, made it easy to move around the city centre. The Service was really excellent and the has very friendly staff. The stuff I really liked was the food.

Connecting to the internet was not too smooth. I was given a code at the reception which didn't work quite well but that was sorted out promptly by IT. Smooth internet connection without IT would be really cool. It was not too cool with limited movie channels in English, would be a good thing to have some more movie channels in English.

The location was good, middle of city. Easy access to anywhere in Doha.

There is no instruction which tower of hotel that we need to stay. The hotel has 4 tower. We came at tower 1 for registration and our stay was at tower 4. However the staff was helpful enough to help us to go to tower 4. The journey was quite far for us because we had a long day earlier (we check in at 2:30am, with my parent senior citizen which almost 70 y/o and a child of 2 y/o). Maybe next time, the customer should be informed earlier about which tower they need to stay via message/inbox so that we can go check in at the tower itself. Other than that the hotel itself is clean and good for stay and the staff provided is 5 star service.

Amenities like their big pool, sauna (steam and dry), mini market, barbershop, game room, restaurants and coffee shops around the property are a big plus.

Check-out took a long time. There were only two staff at the desk when we checked-out and it was obviously very busy. One staff took our room cards but didn’t give our deposit until later. This staff then helped others checked-in first and he also helped others checked-out ahead of us even though we arrived first. We were told to wait even though the room has been checked already. I don’t know why he let us wait when he could have finished our checked-out process. Some guests were jumping in line and the staff didn’t seem bother at all.

Great location in West Bay, metro station is close, there are restaurants, cafès, grocery, pharmacy in the hotel complex. Cleaning staff is very nice. The view is amazing from the room if you are on upper-storey. The price for value is well-worth it. Pool is nice if you want to chill. Free water every day, coffee, tea making option in the room. We could leave our bags at the reception after check-out free of charge.

Our bed was not very comfortable. Pillows and blankets are good quality but matresses could have better quality. Carpets should be deep cleaned more often. Reception staff didn't inform us properly when we had questions. I had to ask 2-3 different persons to get the full info. You have to give 300 QAR deposit.

I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. This Staff exceeded my expectations in every way, making my family's holiday truly memorable. R….e, the reception lady. The hotel was just right in the middle of the city. I enjoyed walking around. Down you can find shops & mini supermarkets. Coffee shops were also seen within the vicinity. I did like sitting there with my partner. Seeing locals & guests pass by. The lobby was cool and wi-fi is available.

The room we had was nice. We checked in around afternoon and we find it clean & tidy. But night comes, and for me I feel that the lights aren't enough to lit the room well. I was expecting cove lights to illuminate the room and give ambiance. Anyway, this is just what I think that hotel should give an update to all its room. All-in-all it was a nice stay.

Excellent location, a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around the area, as well as supermarket and a pharmacy. Metro is walking distance from the hotel and City Centre mall is just one metro station away. The view from the room is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

Sometimes it takes long for the housekeeping to get to the room because of the amount of apartments they need to attend to. But this is not the staff’s fault I believe they need to have more staff available for these things.
