We’ve been to a lot of Marriott hotels in different countries and we could confidently say that Marriott Marquis staff, especially Ms. Charlene and her colleagues in the reception area, were very accommodating, pleasant and helpful in every way. We definitely had a great experience and considering the occasion and reason for our stay, which is my daughter’s birthday and graduation celebration, we were even given a complimentary cake and a card. Their service is exceptional! We’re looking forward to staying at Marriott Marquis Doha again.

The access to the executive lounge is far from the Suite room where we stayed. We had to switch towers to access the lounge.

Access to City Center is very convenient, staff were courteous and accommodating.

The TV screen is bit small relative to the distance where the bed is.. also if it could be raised a bit higher so as not to strain one's neck while watch lying on bed. If swimming pool closing time from 8pm to be 10pm would be good .. as in this summer time its hot in mid morning already, swimming time is hindered by scouring heat of the morning so extending the swimming pool in the evening would really be good.

Location of the hotel steps away from the metro station is very convenient. If you are visiting Doha, make sure to get a hotel close to metro as it is best way to get around. Room is spacious. Got a room on the 17th floor so it had a nice city view. Breakfast was excellent but gets too crowded. Value is great.

Nothing major. Although my room was on the 17th floor, during one night there was a car on the highway making a lot of noise and we could hear it clearly which made me think that sound isolation can be improved. Also tiles in the bathroom need some renovation (some mold underneath them).

We were upgraded to a suite. It was very clean, spacious and we had an awesome view. The room was cleaned daily and stock of tea and coffee were replenished

We would prefer to be offered fresh milk rather than coffee mate. We would have liked to have seen a couple of bowls and some cutlery in the room- we only had 2 mugs and 1 tea spoon. The restaurants though beautiful were expensive to dine in. A cup of coffee cost double what it costs in Austrlalia!!

I chose the Marriott because of its location - a connected shopping center and the metro just across the street. Staff were outstanding. Problems were dealt with immediately and solutions were beyond what i expected.

The rooms on the front of the hotel are very noisy and I asked to be moved to a quieter room - no problem in accomplishing this and my room was wonderful. A shower with no hand wand and only a shower head directly overhead made it difficult to take the shower I wanted. Shower - turn off water - put on shampoo - turn water back on - rinse, etc. was not a good solution.

The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The location was great for getting around Doha. The pool was a good size. The pool area was kept clean and had comfortable sun beds. The facilities within the hotel were excellent with a good choice of bars and restaurants.

The decoration in the room was tired and could do with re decoration in the near future. Although the bathroom was a good size and had a bath with a shower attachment, the separate shower cubicle was small and compact The grout in the shower cubicle needed a refresh.

The location of the hotel is great, then again every hotel in Doha is well located because the city is tiny. The spa was fantastic. The staff at the front desk are very helpful. I don't remember the name of the British gentleman who was assisting me but he was very helpful and went well out of his way to make sure I was comfortable especially after the checking in hiccups. The restaurant options and the bar are great and make the stay even more convenient. The room service burger was phenomenal

My check in day was a disaster. From not having the room ready until after 4pm, to providing me with a room that was a twin instead of king and having to call numerous times to get someone to change me to a different room. All this happened while I was actually in a rush to be somewhere so it was a very unnecessary inconvenience. I was eventually provided an upgraded room and everything after that point was great. The hotel rooms are spacious but do feel a bit dated and would be needing renovations soon I would imagine. Everything else was great

The room has a nice view to the tall buildings in Doha. The hotel is located near by the DECC station for the Doha metro and is easily accessible. The hotel is part of the city center mall. The breakfast was delicious.

The check in process took 30 min which is a very long time for getting to your room. This needs to improve. I stayed in the 28th floor and the odor of the floor and the room was horrible. I think the floor and the room needs a refurbishment.

Our stay at Marriott Marquis has been outstanding. The staff has a high level of professionality. In particular we want to thank WISAL & VANESA that have been very kind and helpful at reception with their professional support. The room was amazing. The pool superb. We thank Marriott Marquis for our amazing holiday in the great Qatar.

location was ideal for all my business meetings, room was clean and gym was well equipped. Turnover services were prompt and room service request reacted timely. The use of the app or whatsapp to communicate to customer experience officer allows me to communicate to the hotel with ease.
