The Filipina lady at the reception always has a big smile whenever you approach. She is very welcoming. Nagim, from concierge is a hardworking guy and was always ready to assist. The location accessible to everything, beach is just opposite and City Center Mall is just one block away.

Need to improve housekeeping because they usually just make the bed, refilled toiletries and changed the trash bags. The rest are not cleaned, furnitures are not wiped, the headboard was gathering dust already. The carpet was not vacuumed. Even crumpled tissues were not taken away. When we first came,I had to wipe the inside of the cabinet to put my things inside. Management needs to improve this part bec the the design of the building is already a bit outdated already but can be compensated with cleanliness and neatness.

The room has nice sea view, and comfortable , available all the facilities. The hotel location is near to city centers and other important location, also free access to private beach (cross the road). The staff are very supportive especially Mr Tarek in the reception.

The hotel is located across the street from the beach and is walking distance from two beach clubs. The staff was friendly and helpful. All requests were responded to in a timely manner (both electronically before we arrived and at the hotel). The breakfast buffet has a great variety and nice views. The pool area is lovely and overlooking the ocean (not infinity). The hotel is also located right next to a few cafes, which comes in handy for late night snacks. The hotel also gives vouchers for free entry to the W Beach Club.

The hotel restaurant does not sell alcohol. However, there is a nice Hilton across the street where one can have a few sundowners.

Friendly staff. Great location. Fantastic sea view from bedroom window on 16th floor. Great breakfast selection delivered to room during Ramadan. Iftar buffet in dining room was also very good and reasonably priced. 10 minute walk to City Mall. Beach just across the road. The Corniche is great for running, walking or bike riding. 20 minutes from airport.

Nothing really to complain about. Excellent for the price paid per night.

The room service wasn’t always the best. In most cases they did everything well but there were times when they took our bath towels and forgot to give us a new one (after calling the reception they sent us a pair, no problem).

Perfect location, free wbb beach access and towels. Breach is private and no strict dressing code. Breakfast was very good. Staff was great. Did not see the pool and the gym. Grocery store 24h open nearby. Rooms were nice, yes furniture is a bit old, but for an average person it is more than enough. We also got the baby crib. Excellent value to what it provides.

Room cleaning service was a bit on the lower side on what i am used to. For example they will make up the bed and change the towels, but not throw out the trash if it is not in the bin. Also the clothes will remain where they were :) But we didnt really mind since hotel makes that up in other areas.

Its near the beach and they provided voucher for front beach access

Price is okay and they may upgrade your room based on availability

The location is close to the Ministry of Education, where I had my job. With all the heavy traffic in the area, the noise didn't bother me (I lived on the 6th floor and then on the 12th floor). All the hotel staff tried to be as kind as possible.

I was disturbed by the fact that I had to move to another room just one day before leaving: The reason: the respective corridor and the adjacent rooms were under repair. Of course, it is a rational reason, but the repair decision is not made overnight, it is known in advance. so I think that, with a little professionalism, I could have been assigned from the beginning to a room where I could stay for the entire duration of my stay there (almost two weeks), without having to go through the unpleasantness of packing and re-unpacking and then re-packing things again.

For the location, size of the room, courtesy of the staff, cleanness, good wi-fi, bed (super comfy), big bathroom, and overall price over quality, I think Retaj al Rayyan is quite unbeatable. Most of the rooms have a sea view, the beach is very close (but the pool was nice as well), there is a big mall with a Carrefour nearby, enough cafes and restaurants in the vicinity and, in my opinion, it's a cozy place in the glamorous Doha, one that makes you feel welcomed and almost like at home. Plenty of amenities and good quality ones + free bottles of water provided daily. I had a wonderful stay and I would happily choose it again. P.S.: late check-out is possible without any charge, and that itself it's a big plus!

Breakfast was fine, not extremely tasty but diverse. The room temperature was a little hard to manage, but they've been very prompt in helping (in the way that it was very cold indoors, like in most indoor spaces in Doha). Yes, the furniture is a bit dated, but it didn't bother me, as the price was more than fair. All in all, hardly anything to complain about.

- We stayed for 4 nights - the location is excellent - the reception staff were very helpful & informative specially the one we met on the first day at check - in (i guess he's Egyptian I'm sorry i forgot his name) he was super professional, helpful & fast though we had a little problem he was positive & smiling all the time & helped a lot. - the breakfast is excellent with many options - the room had a very nice sea view & was always clean

- during the last 2 days of our stay there were always 3 or 4 pairs of shoes besides the elevator at the main entrance of our floor i guess it's for maintenance workers in addition to some maintenance equipment
