We had a lovely stay at the Sheraton. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. We got upgraded to a sea view room. There are a lot facilities in the hotel. It has a small private beach, swimming pool area, watersport area and much more. The staff was very friendly and was always willing to go the extra mile. Our 2 year old son was sick and they gave him special attention like getting him fruits at breakfast, which weren''t part of the buffet. Especially Ei Phyu was wonderful and very attentive during the breakfasts. On the last day, they even gave us cake, which was a real nice gesture. We really felt welcome and would definitely book again.

The music at the beach is way too loud. It's not clear if alcohol was being served at the beach, but there was a drunk lady on our first day, which was kind of disturbing (not necessarily hotels fault though).

We couldn't get the two rooms connected, which was a big hassle since our idea was to have our three kids in one room with the baby monitors (as we do at home) and be right next door through the connecting door. It wasn't given to us. It was requested at the booking and stated that it'd depend on availability. I think that was a mistake on their part. It should have been given as a pariority, not only for ourselves but for other guests who may have been in the rooms next to ours (noisier) than if only one room was bothered by "kids next door"

The hotel is excellent from all points of view: location, services, facilities and atmosphere. We frequently travel all over the world and have seen many accommodations, but this hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in.

We were asked to leave the hotel on short notice, after 7 out of our 10-day stay, because an international delegation was coming. Even if we were offered similar conditions at another 5-star hotel, it was not the same as at Sheraton, because an important thing was missing there: high class.

Everything from the check in till check out was perfect. Once I arrived I was greeted by Shevali and then directed to Aruzhan who send personalized welcome letter to my room, which was very nice to receive. Then Mr. Jaskirat called me to ensure that I like the room and if AC was working properly (last time when I stayed in this property AC had some issues & they still remembered that!). Trough out the stay I was greeted everywhere with smiles & even thou I stayed alone, I felt very comfortable there. Again thank you Aruzhan, Jaskirat, Shefali & others who made my stay amazing.

The room is perfect with sea view, the beach is excellent with shade of the building in the afternoon. I definitely recommended to my friends and make sure to be back. The Staff is very friendly from the parking staff to check in counter and to check out counter with Welcome Eid Mubarak Cake, chocolate treats, balloon and colouring activity for my Son. The most unique was the Arab Guy who was offering welcome teas he is very approachable.

As a Filipino we used to eat Rice on breakfast so at least Pasta is available. Good thing beacon, eggs, waffle, pancake, fruits, salad is an alternative.

One the best hotel staying experiences I’ve ever had. Highly professional staff, everyone was very welcoming, kind, smiling and offering help. Though the building is old and it is known as the first 5 star hotel in Doha, but it’s very well maintained, you can feel how vintage and authentic it is. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Food buffets were diverse and very tasty. Special thanks to Mr. Aun who gave us good upgrade offer at check in, he was very helpful and kind. I can’t thank the staff at club lounge enough who surprised my wife at her birthday with cake and a gift. It was a very nice gesture, especially the manager lady there, I forgot to ask about her name, she was super kind , always smiling and checking on us. I hope she can read this and know how much we are thankful to her. also the lady at the club lounge reception desk , she was very polite , kind , and very professional. Also the hotel is famous for their delicious “Um Ali”, don’t miss that If I ever stayed in Doha again, I’ll never hesitate to stay at Sheraton grand Doha.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was a little tired but comfortable. Food was all very good I ate at the Irish pub, the atrium, the pool side bar and the Indian restaurant. We stayed on the 8th floor and the view was excellent and it was nice having a balcony.

I didn’t like having to be tagged to use the outside area, even when I just wanted to go for a walk or drink, I have to say this really annoyed me.

It was amazing, I think it was my best hotel experience ever. The hotel itself is beautiful. The breakfast had a great selection of arabic and international things, we had even dinner in the hotel buffet- excellent experience. Room is super comfy, people working in the hotel very helpful and nice. Beach? Beatiful, calm with very comfy beds and full service. I honestly dont see any negative thing about this hotel. I will definitely be back soon!:)

A good selection offered for breakfast and the timings were adequate.

There is a strict (overly) policy regarding taking water and snacks to the beach. My elderly companion was not allowed to take her own water bottle containing ice cold water to the beach and I was refused a handful of grapes and a banana. This is not enforced at other 5 star hotels nearby to this hotel.

The hotel is amazing, very clean and the personnel is very helpful. The food is good. I would definately recommend the place. Perfect beach in the very city center with a perfect view both on the downtown and and sea.

Additional services like breakfasts, lunch, dinner sometimes were billed twice because of confusion from the staff, which I only realized upon check out, rushing to the airport, needed to check all the 5 pager bill and reduce the billed amount. I was told that 5 yo children are free of charge for breakfasts, but in the end I saw this billed in. Everyone should check if the services were billed correctly.
