At first I was hesitant, due to some of the reviews of the hotel on this app, but I trusted my instincts and I don’t think I was wrong. Respectfully, I disagree with the complaints that have been made as they seemed rather minimal, avoidable and/or easily inferred from the hotel’s profile. I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled due to how off-putting some of them had been and how disproportionately it seems to be reflected in person. While there may be some aspects about the hotel that do not appeal to specific travellers (it’s location near eateries, not having road access, the design of the shower, size of wardrobe, etc.); these factors were, personally, not a very big inconvenience. I would also like to commend the staff for being above-and-beyond courteous, warm and welcoming. Aleksa and Ivana, particularly stood out in terms of their excellent service, though every single staff member we interacted with had been a lovely exchange. Perhaps the management has changed recently or maybe the hotel is slowly improving since their opening. Either way, I hope people are not deterred by the reviews unduly and do their proper research about the property and their amenities before booking. Especially since they seem to be more than happy to help you with anything you need or any questions you may have. I wish you all, all the best. Thank you for being remarkably welcoming in what can be such an inhospitable world.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay, although it is on a pedestrian street so its slightly harder to get a taxi directly to it (but its totally worth it!). We were given an upgrade which was great; the room was clean and the air con worked well as it was 38 degrees when we were there. The bathroom was huge and I really liked the shower. Breakfast was good, and there was enough choice without the hot food that could be ordered. The staff were really friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to go back

The service at breakfast and in the rooftop area could have been improved as we often had to ask for coffee.

We had a wonderful stay, comfortable rooms, spacious enough and super clean. As a music lover, I really appreciated the fact that you can connect your music via TV and hear it in the bathroom. Very kind and friendly staff, they're a real upgrade of the hotel and made our stay so pleasant, thank you very much to all of you, Ivan and Dunia in reception and Nenad in breakfast!

When you shower, there is unfortunately water everywhere. And when wearing slippers it is quite dangerous. I believe the hotel should pay attention to that and fix it. As recommendation: - to have a written menu in the breakfast so that you can actually see what options you have. Otherwise customers would assume there are no options. More variety could be added to the buffet as well. - more art pieces would be nice! Whenever we travel we try to visit indigo hotels as we enjoy the boutique styles and their high standard. Indigo Belgrade did not disappoint, but could be better 😊!

We loved everything about the location and the hotel. The staff were super kind and helpful, especially the lovely ladies at the reception. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. We asked about vegan options in advance and were promised that everything could be arranged. However, once there, there were none really - and the kitchen staff seemed rather confused at our request. They would have been able to veganise the avocado sandwich but I'm allergic to avocado, so that wasn't an option. Other than that, the buffet offered soy milk, some fruit, bread (no declaration as to whether it was vegan or not) and one type of jam (no margarine or anything). Again, we still truly enjoyed our stay but would recommend that the hotel expand their vegan options. :)

The hotel has the best location in the city! Everything is literally located by walking distance from the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and wished to help with everything. The bed was comfy and big, and the view to the hotel's terrace was cool. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a local special touch which get you into the right vibes. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel's bar/restaurant is beautifully designed and contains awesome terrace to chill, relax and grab a drink.

If you're into hot showers then you won't like the water temperature in the rooms that better to be improved since the hot water shortly disappear after few mins of use. Also, the gym was nice but doesn't have pretty much equipment to use which is a bit disappointing. The breakfast is basic but contains decent variety of options.

Everything. From the moment I walked in, the facilities were nicely decorated, the staff was extremely kind and hospitable, and most of all, the room was fantastic. I really liked the international radio stations and speaker in the bathroom. It’s also in the world’s greatest location, right in the pedestrian area in Belgrade and across from a 24 hour market.

If I had to pick something, I would say I wish that the windows were bigger to let in more natural light.

The youthful and kind personnel at the reception proved to be professional and up to the task of dealing with demanding guests. They deserve praise from the viewpoint of professionality and intention to present their city to guests in the best light. Belgrade's genius loci are its people rather than iconic buildings or monuments. The staff at the reception are undoubtedly great ambassadors of their city. The narrative of the Indigo hotel brand is a boutique experience connected to authentic local stories. In Belgrade, the brand succeeded in convincingly portraying local culture, character and geography to their guests. There is room for improvement, particularly in regard to the personnel and additonal offer, which can elevate a guest’s experience. The hotel terrace is waiting to be discovered by event organisers. We do not doubt the central idea was to create one of the coolest hotels in the heart of Belgrade. A thin line separates a cool and boring hotel, however. When staying at Hotel Indigo, guests feel like they booked a room in a boutique hotel, albeit the IHG hotel chain manages the hotel. If the hotel succeeds in retaining this look, it will easily edge out its competition. Grandiose murals in the atrium are a welcome surprise. We could not take our eyes off them during our stay. In addition, we were in awe of texts from Miroslav Gospel that crown the hotel lift. Such boutique details bring the history of the city closer to guests.

With a central location, the hotel is space-limited. Consequently, the rooms are smaller, measuring 23 m2. We were not blown away by the design, yet it does meet the expectations for hotel rooms of the hotel brand. Too many universal and already-seen elements taint the thought-out idea. Soundproof windows are integral for a hotel in the city centre. Because we stayed in the hotel on an eventful Friday, the noise coming from the street was disturbing.

Perfect place! We loved our stay! The hotel is it a very high standard! The breakfast is exceptionally good! For one night, we also had dinner at the restaurant, which was outstanding! The staff at reception was extremely helpful! They always went the extra mile to accommodate (and literally anticipate) our needs and wishes. Very impressive! Thank you again!

Very convenient, central location, perfect if you want to explore the city on foot. The hotel stuff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were the highlight of our stay! Thank you all for this! The great discovery was the hotel’s restaurant “Duke”. They serve traditional Serbian food with a modern twist - it comes in small portions (tapas), so you can enjoy many different dishes at once. The tastes took me straight back to my mom’s kitchen! If you are new to Serbian cuisine, this is the best place to start. If you know it already, this is the place to come back to your childhood memories.

There’s almost nothing not to like about this place, as it was the love at first sight for us. The only detail that bothered us are the cosmetics (soap, shampoo) provided by the hotel with very strong smell of male perfume. It says on each product “For men & women” but truly it all smells like a strong and not nice aftershave.

I was traveling with a teenage son and requested a twin bed in my booking. This was confirmed at reception when we arrived. However, when we entered the room there was a big double bed. It was a night after a long trip so we said ‘never mind’. In the end it was not too bad as the bed was really wide and comfortable.
