Incredible design hotel in the perfect location in Belgrade - easy stroll to anywhere and options for eating and drinking all around. Very nice to be able to nip across the road to the park too. Super comfortable room - lovely bed and great TV. People had complained about the soap, rather than having liquid toiletries, but we liked the soap and it was replaced daily. Perhaps conditioner would have been good, but we had our own. Facilities very good - we used the gym, which was small, yet well equipped for a short workout. Rooftop is a big plus...great space for evening drinks or coffee (the falafel snack was 10/10) Excellent value coming from the UK!

No coffee making facilities in the rooms! Big thumbs down from us on this - I expect to be able to have a coffee in bed in a premium hotel. Also, aircon in the gym was not blowing into the room and only cooling the mirrors! It got a bit hot in there as it was 30°C+ outside.

Very comfortable room and bed with great city views, but also quiet. Blackout curtains always a bonus. Good buffet breakfast. Quirky decor. Wonderful city views from the restaurant terrace. Helpful staff. Central location.

Arrived 1am in the pouring rain on my own. Wasn't forewarned that the only entrance open at this time was the side entrance. The hotel is on the upper floors of a large shopping centre. Even after phoning them and with the help of some kind strangers it took ages to find the entrance. (Google maps just takes you to the main shopping centre entrance which was closed.)

We enjoyed everything! The rooms are beautifully furnished and adequately spacious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and open-minded. A issue that arose during our stay was professionally and satisfactorily resolved. The breakfast is diverse and delicious. The restaurant offers superbly tasty food prepared in an open kitchen. The bar provides a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There are designated smoking and non-smoking areas in the restaurant and bar. Our room had a fantastic view! We are grateful for the wonderful time we had at the hotel! I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to anyone who has an open mindset and good taste! We will be back!

Staff are awesome, they dress and feel so youngish. This is a very friendly hotel. Location is great- located above a very lovely mall, and around the shopping streets with lots and lots of stores. At Christmas there are markets down the hotel with music and lots of nice people. There's everything you need. Room is very large, very cute, tide, cleaned, very youngish, Supermarket down the mall and a Starbucks! That's all a human needs XD. Staff are very very nice and friendly, attentive, smiley, always so polite. I can talk about them all day, but you just have to be there to understand. BTW, you should try their Chocolate Soufflé, it's very delicious, I ate 2.

The only and really only thing is the TV connection, which I think they need to settle.

everything is fine and great, but it is absolutely unacceptable that a hotel of this category does not have a shampoo for washing hair, but offers a 3 in 1 soap under the pretext of ecology. Question for management, how can women with long hair wash their hair with 3 in 1 soap? If it weren't for the DM store in the shopping center, no one would have been able to wash their hair because we didn't bring our own shampoos, expecting that a hotel like this would have that.

Mama Shelter was such a fun hotel to stay in while in Belgrade. Perfect location, welcoming staff (especially Alex at reception), and hip bar and restaurant (with great food and drinks). Breakfast was also very delicious with lots of options.

If I was to nic pic it would be the smoking in the restaurant (which is everywhere in Belgrade) and the fact that the heating was still on in the rooms so we had to keep our balcony door opened the entire time.

The location cannot be more central, right on the main pedestrian Knez Mihajlova, a stone throw away from Kalemegdan. The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The bar/restaurant is a great hangout place not only for guests, but also for locals. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, with a wide choice of traditional and international freshly prepared food. Not the first, and not the last time to stay here, either.

Easy check-in, comfort, the location was what I needed, especially since I ran a marathon and it took me just a few minutes to get there from the finish line. The staff was very helpful in helping me locate the missing trousers :)

Because the hotel was fully booked, I didn't get the advertised room, but was places in a room for disabled which doesn't really provide the full mama shelter experience. For those traveling with a car, the garage situation isn't the best - there is no deal with the hotel, and since I parked a day early, my parking ticket was invalid the next day, and I couldn't pay on the machine and it took some investigation to figure out what to do.

My payment option was " pay at the hotel" but , at the day of arriving ,they took money from my bank account .When I came ,I sayed about it at the frontdesk(I prefered to pay cash at the hotel, and did it) and I was told that they cancel the transaction.So now I have the check that I have payed in cash, and 300E blocked at my bank account.It was some trubbles for me

Very interesting interior, friendly staff, loved the restaurant. Easy to find if you know that it should be in the mall. Great location - in the old town. Not too much variety for breakfast, but excellent quality and taste, special thanks for the Local corner - really great idea and I liked it a lot! I didn't spend too much time in Serbia to try all this food and it's excellent that Mama Shelter gave me a chance to do it)

Unfortunately too cold bathroom( And I miss liquid shampoo
