Our experience was first class from the beginning of our visit. As has been mentioned before, the reception staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I also want to single out the young manager that attended to our questions and requests. He was very customer oriented and helpful. Normally I don't focus too much on reviewing hotel staff, but in this case it is warranted, as it really stands out compared to many other 5 Star hotel I have stayed in. We had a really nice room and our requests were fully met. We especially enjoyed the balcony with a view over the pool and garden, and we even had seaview. Some reviewers have mentioned that the rooms seem dated. Perhaps the design is not what a newly built hotel would use, but personally I actually really liked it overall. The room is really big and where do you still get a walk-in closet these days? When we asked for a late check-out we were offered to move our luggage to a courtesy room with toilet and shower. Exactly what we needed! The pool landscape is fantastic and the garden landscape is very well taken care off. We enjoyed both the heated saltwater pool and the slightly cooler pool with waterfalls. Also the large whirlpool was a delight. I'd like to mention something about the nearby beaches: One of the reasons I chose the Adrián Hoteles Jardines de Nivaria was its closeness to the Playa del Duque, which is often referred to as one of the nicest beaches on Tenerife, because of its golden color sand. Well, I can tell you, this is definitely not or no longer true! The color of the "Duque Beach" is just the same grayish tone as the much closer Playa de Fanabe. I guess the imported Sahara sand has been blown away over the years. Don't get me wrong in my opinion, Playa del Duque is still a worthwhile beach to go to, but it is at least a 15 minute walk from the hotel while Play de Fanabe is right in front of the hotel and its sandy beach and the clean water of the Atlantic was just as nice.

Before our arrival I debated for a long time if I should keep my reservation at the Adrián Hoteles Jardines de Nivaria because of its rather high price even in November. You can definitely find cheaper options and vacation rentals with community pools closeby are also a good alternative. However, at the end I am very happy that we kept our reservation as spending time in the "oasis" that the pool and garden landscape offers combined with the hotels location near the promenade and two nice beaches is quite unbeatable. I still think the price is too high, but the overall very enjoyable experience of our stay sort of balances out that only pain point.

The breakfast was phenomenal, the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in. We both had the best nights sleep every night. We loved everything about the hotel, it was so clean and what made it even more special was the fact that we did not have to panic about finding a sunlounger by the pool. We were pleased to see the lifeguard removing any towels that had been used to reserve spaces. Your hotel is definitely one that I would go to again and would not hesitate it recommending it. Thank you for the most enjoyable experience.

There is nothing that I can say that I did not particularly like. The only thing I really missed was perhaps a paper version of the drinks and cocktail menu in the bar. I know it was on the app on the phone but I prefer to actually read a menu rather than look on my phone as sometimes it didn't load properly. The only other thing was that there wasn't much advertising of day time activities or what was available.

Brilliant value for money 5 star hotel by European standards, prices very reasonable. Hotel itself was nice looking in keeping with 5 star rating. Fabulous landscaped grounds. Excellent pool. Great food, especially breakfast. Staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Tiffany bar was excellent, special thanks to Rafa and Guillermo for making some great drinks. Nice room, comfy bed and pillows (subjective of course). Plenty of wardrobe space. Good location to access restaurants in nearby area.

1. As usual, having to 'reserve' the pool area sunbeds to get one in a decent position around the pool. The hotel policy states this is not allowed and towels etc will be removed but again, it is not enforced. In fact it is actively encouraged as clean towels are issued when handing back the used ones so they can be used the following morning before the pool area officially opens. 2. Pool service was not great. Not seen for long periods and good luck getting their attention to order drinks. Went to the bar ourselves more often than not (which is not a conveniently located pool bar).

An excellent hotel from the minute we arrived until we left. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Upon arrival we received a tour of the hotel as we went to our room which really helped us to get our bearings. The room was very spacious and relaxing. The pool area was peaceful with staff coming around and serving us during the day. The choice between the heated salt water pool and the unheated pool was an added bonus for us. The food in the hotel was delicious and for the most part reasonably priced. The location of the hotel was also excellent due to its proximity to the beach, shops, and other local restaurants. There is nothing bad we could say about the hotel. It was excellent value for money considering the service we received and the available amenities. It was one of the best holidays we have been on. We will most certainly be back as soon as possible.

wow this hotel is unbelievable from the welcome drink to the departure free use of a standby room. the staff are fantastic every single one of them always courteous and polite, food was amazing, had fine dining experience one night which was great, the pools are exceptional we really enjoyed the salt water in one, our room was on the ground floor with terrace and garden with side sea view which was a real bonus as we only had standard booking, the room was quite, spacious and the bathroom was exceptional, nice touch every evening to call and see if you required anymore or fresh towels, we are fortunate to have travelled to middle east and caribbean and this hotel and the whole experience is as good as, thank you everybody we had an amazing time and we are already looking to return early next year.

this was an amazing hotel and experience but if we had to give any constructive criticism we found the evening entertainment to be quite poor and dated. we visited other bars in the resort and found a better standard of entertainment, but this in no way detracted from our fabulous holiday in this special hotel

Excellent location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, great facilities, nice selection of restaurants and services.

People keep reserving the sun beds at the pool by putting their towels on them before they go to the breakfast. I think the hotel should be even more proactive to keep removing the towels, so that there are sun beds available. So in the end it is people's fault but I think the hotel needs to take more action against it. Just place a warning sign on each reserved sun bed and check after 30 minutes - if still no one is there then remove the items. Checking once per hour was not enough.

great hotel with fantastic pool - 2 big pools alongside - salty warm, and regular cold good outside jacuzzy rooms and bathrooms are perfect - modern and well decoratet huge beds with luxury sheets and pillows the walkaway is right out of the hotel with restaurants, tourist-shops and the beach we found even better beach if you walk 10 min to the west side - wonderfull place, less tourists than in the east side

rooms are spread all over the hotel place, so you have to walk and climb stairs every time you go out of the room we upgraded for poolside room - you have to check the view from the other side rooms - it seems less pleasant

Facilities were excellent and clean. The common areas were very spacious and hotel isn't overpacked, always enough space around the pool, very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly, they consistently gave excellent customer service. On our arrival we were early for check-in so they gave us a free drinks and snacks (which was more like a lunch). The hotel is a very high standard and the location is excellent. We would definitely return to this hotel again when next in Tenerife.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. Our room was a ground floor with large terrace. Bedroom had walk in wardrobe, large bathroom. Very well equipped. Houskeeping excellent, had usually been done by the time we returned from breakfast. Linen changed daily, towels changed twice a day, which was not really needed. Lovelty fluffy towels and large bathrobes. We only ate breakfast in hotel but this was very good with large selection of both hot and cold food. English T.V. channels in room also. Seem to cater for the U.K. market. The pool areas were very clean and lots of loungers with specific instructions given that reserving sunbeds was not allowed. All in all a fantastic stay at a superb hotel.

It takes a while to get your bearings, the hotel and rooms are on so many different levels. The evening entertainment could be better.

Fabulous hotel in every way. I don't usually write long reviews but this one deserves a lot of praise. It is kept spotlessly clean though this is achieved in a very non visible way and during early hours to avoid disruption to guests. Without exception all the staff were efficient and professional, a joy to deal with. The breakfast was excellent, quality food and a superb selection and the staff were exceptional. The room was very comfortable and kept beautifully clean. It was well equipped and even the hairdryer was better than the usual hotel standard. I liked the fact there was not any unnecessary grooming products unless requested and the option not to have towels changed every day. A sensible and practical approach to avoid waste without compromising on standards. The pool area was very comfortable and despite the hotel being full there was never a shortage of beds. The sun beds are very comfortable and are covered each night so always dry. The pool towel service was another very significant area of excellent service with nice towels as well as towelling bed covers so very comfortable to laze around on all day. The pool toilets were always immaculate and there was a shower there too. The pool is large and heated which was fabulous as we were there end of February and it was warm enough to get in and swim everyday. There is a feeling of a good level of security within the hotel. We were happy to stay in the hotel all day and just wander out locally for dinner in the evening but we had a couple of lunches on the terrace which were generally very good. We stayed there with friends and had a lovely week. The weather was good as I believe it generally is in that area but we didn't do any exploring so will have to go back to Tenerife one day, if we do we will most definitely stay at this hotel again. I did not use the Spa but my friend did and she said it too was very good, she had a lovely manicure and pedicure.

The club sandwich and prawn and mango salad in the Cascada was disappointing. The chicken was very dry and overcooked and the mango in the salad was not fresh and it needed a nice dressing.
