Overall the hotel was really nice, especially the pool and spa looked great. Reception was very professional. Housekeeping was amazing, very good service from them! It was a really enjoyable holiday and the views are indeed amazing. I would recommend for families or elderly people going, not couples or young people.

Some of the workers there didn’t think I spoke Spanish and I was surprised to see them being rude in Spanish in front of me or even talk about me while I was in front of them, especially the workers at the pool. Also, the food is not the most amazing for pool, room service or breakfast. Location is not amazing if you want to do stuff, we had to take a cab everywhere.

The staff is amazing, so are the rooms, the little attentions... The buffet/ half board was worth it. We came here for our honeymoon and the staff took note of it. We arrived to our room which was romantically decorated, with a bottle of champagne and some fruits. Every evening they came to get our beds ready and left some chocolate. Everything was truly amazing!

People around the pool were eude and will kept chairs even if they're not there for hours. There's a policy for the pool beds of 1 hour, but it's not enforced enough. Other than that we have nothing to say!

I booked this resort for my brother and his family. I'm sharing his feedback from his recent experience. My brother and family were overjoyed with the spacious room, with luxury facilities. It was clean and boasted a gorgeous view overlooking the pools and a stunning sea view. Breakfast was of an excellent standard, with plenty of healthy options. There were numerous pools to choose from to satisfy both adults and children. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my family's stay was a pleasant one. The staff even surprised my brother with a bottle of bubbles, a greeting card, and a generous slice of yummy chocolate cake to celebrate my brother's birthday. I'm so grateful that I chose this hotel and resort. My family left feeling joyfully satisfied and well taken care of. Thank you!

the buffet was very good, and we liked the changes each day, i.e additions to breakfast so it wasn't always the same. However, the choice available for breakfast and dinner was excellent.

The Fish restaurant was disappointing. The waiter was really nice and keen to please but clearly completely untrained. He forgot drinks, had no idea which fish was for each of us, or what each fish dish was. He went back and forth to the kitchen with our two main course plates, and brought the chef out, who explained which was which but by then the dishes were cold and had been back and forth to the kitchen. For the price we expected much better service. However, we felt this was a one-off because everything else was brilliant.

The pool area is nice and well maintained. The hotel has underground parking with a free charging station available and 4 other paid stations. The hotel is overall clean, with big rooms and the staff is super nice and helpful. Our room had seaside view and balcony, so we could see some amazing sunsets right from our balcony.

The food is generally pretty bad or at most average. That is especially the case for breakfast, the pool restaurant and the Night & Grill restaurant. The Night & Fish restaurant is a bit better.

The hotel offers an amazing pool area with lush plantation, various pools (hot & cold), comfy sun beds & waiter service. Everything & everywhere is very comfortable and not over crowded. The staff are ALL friendly & very considerate. A very, very clean hotel throughput and a good standard of food in the restaurants with a different themes every day in the buffet restaurant.

Whilst the lunch restaurant was very nice indeed, it would of been good to have one or two smaller, simple dishes available for someone wanting just a light bite at lunch (like a ham/cheese toastie). Most meals were quite large and we felt we were wasting food at lunchtime because they were too big. Also, the views are really wonderful from the hotel but that is because it’s at the top of a hill (ok for us, but some people would struggle to pop out for a walk). More info about the local area and sightseeing trips out would of been nice in the reception area - but a minor thing and not to detract from a really very well run and lovely hotel with all main requirements for a great holiday getting a 10 out of 10

We stayed in this hotel for 11 nights and 9/10 rating is fully deserved in my opinion. For a 5 star hotel I had many expectations around the small details and almost everything was top notch. A few highlights: spacious, very comfortable room and interior yard with 6 pools, great view, relaxing vibe. Great buffet for breakfast and dinner, lots of good options. Maybe after a while it can get a bit repetitive but still very good food. Great staff overall, special thanks for the housekeeping ladies and for the check-in experience. I believe Petra is the name of the receptionist, many thanks again! Not that we needed it a lot, but was surprising to see the wi-fi connection was really good all over the interior yard not just inside the room. Loved the vibe of the colonial style building, our stay was very relaxing. Even if the hotel was somewhat crowded, I felt all the other guests were polite and not noisy. It was the first time visiting Tenerife and the island excedeed all our expectations. Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur definitely had a significant impact for our memorable vacation!

Room service food was completely sub-standard, only ordered once and would not recommend it to anyone. The gym AC could have been better (asked the lady from the spa to increase it, she confirmed). It was too hot inside and hard to breath when doing cardio exercises.

Overall, a very good resort for a decent vacation in Tenerife. The room was spacious, and paying extra for the ocean view was definitely worth it. The hotel staff assisted in organising activities such as Lora Park visit and La Gomera tour, and overall was very helpful. A lot of swimming pools, including a few heated ones, is absolutely the best thing about Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur. Also, Kids Club is very good.

Half-board dinners felt underwhelming - not bad, but hardly worth premium pricing they charge. The location is not bad either, however still up to 15 minutes away from the ocean, restaurants, shops, etc. The facility itself, despite being clean and kept in a good condition, shows signs of age. Spa area (including sauna) is only available at an extra cost, which was unexpected. Overall, it did not feel like the most luxurious 5* resort in Tenerife - but not the most expensive either, so we got what we paid for, sounds fair.

Room excellent, had to move room (see below) and new room was improved, view over sea. Buffet excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Aircon was essential, set to 14oC in one room and 18oC in the other room; 14oC was too cold and we could not adjust. We saw dedicated pools for children, which did not apply to us but was nice to see. We went end August / beginning of September and it was meltingly hot. Be prepared for 2-3 changes of t-shirt and shorts per day, so washing essential - dry on balcony works. Don't bother with pullovers and long trousers, except for coming back home. If we do again is more likely to be later in year, maybe October.

People next door were smoking marijuana, we complained and were moved. Apparently the people on the other side also complained and they were also moved. Obviously the hotel didn't want to confront the people smoking. Hotel was very hot indoors, some aircon in bars etc, but was not that effective. There were no games rooms for adults, would have helped, snooker etc. There was no dedicated pool for actual swimming, though we counted at least 5 pools. Be in no doubt that this is an expensive hotel.

Amazing friendly staff. Beautiful pools surrounded by pa trees and plants. So much space. Always free sunbeds. Lovely Balinese beds by one pool. Adult only pool amongst family ones. The buffet breakfast is incredible...endless fresh fruit, all types of bread, cold items, cooked meats, vegetables, omelette station, freshly made pancakes, endless cakes and sweet stuff. The evening buffet is equally amazing! Fish and meat cooked fresh for you amongst endless sides and other dishes from the country of the evening... Along with amazing desert, cheeses etc .. There are towels by the pool. The restaurant staff and every member of staff are always so smiley and helpful. There is are two warm pools and two colder ones (it was January when we visited) and I loved having the choice. The villa is absolutely amazing if you get one. Cleaned every day. Coffee machine, big comfy bed, amazing hot tub. We returned for a second time and we will come again. Really, the best holiday ever! Could not be happier with this hotel.

There is nothing I didn't like... It was all amazing.
